Requested they remove a starter so I could buy it. They said they'd call back once it was done. They did call back, but I ended up not needing the part anymore. Instead of being passive aggressive about making them work for no reason (which would have been fair), they handled it like complete professionals. Because of their good business practice, I felt compelled to review. S/o the lady answering phones!
Great place to find parts for your vehicle. They also do some service work - I had my truck door welded by Tim. It's nice too see places like this still around!
When I initially called and asked for a random Th125C transmission they were extremely helpful but a few good laughs. I went drove from around Lakeville up to them and they were more than helpful locating the transmission I needed and giving me some options on the one I'd receive. The owner took me of a tour around and showed me the truck he restored for his wife. The truck was awesome and I love looking at other gear heads projects. I told them once I was finished I would send some pictures of what the transmission was going in. It happens to be a 1992 club car carryall 2 repowered with a supercharged and turbocharged Kubota Df752 engine. Of course I rebuilt the trans to make sure it was up to the challenge. Fun little toy that has quite a few miles on it to shake down. Now for the cosmetic phase. Thanks again for the great experience I had with you!!
Love the old school feel of the place. It's worth a visit even if you don't need a part! I needed a front passenger window and side view mirror for a 97-03 Malibu after some moron sideswiped me. I found online that they had the parts, called them in the morning, and they had them pulled and ready for me that afternoon. Saved me a couple hours of labor (since I don't pull parts every day).
Really terrible service. Used them twice, both times were failures.
The first time I was looking for an AC compressor. They said they had the correct one. Drove there, found out it was wrong.
They spent 30 minutes looking for the correct part but didnt have it.
Okay, that's fine. It happens.
Second time I went looking for a radio/CD player. They had 2 listings. Said they needed to pull it.
Took my number and said they would call.
One week later, no call. I called them and their excuse was "we're really busy cleaning the yard". Oh, really? Couldn't have told me that a week ago?
I said I need to know by tomorrow (8 full days later). They said fine. Never heard from them again. Here it is 2 weeks later and not a peep.
Of course, I took my business elsewhere.
Do not bother.
Called to ask about tires. They said they don't have any in my size. Then I say okay thank you she said yep I know and hung up on me. So the parts might be okay but the customer service is trash, and one star is to much for this place.
I absolutely love this place! It’s a little bit out in the country, but well worth the drive. The lady is so helpful & they have exactly what I need for my old car every time! And their dog is beautiful.
just purchased a knuckle/hub assembly. Upon inspection I noticed there was play in the wheel bearings and made a loud metal to metal noise when spinning the hub. they claimed the wheel bearing was good which it was not. Midas auto repair shop also told me the wheel bearing was bad and can provide documents proving this. Goose Lake Auto went on basically went on calling me a liar and said the bearings are suppose to have play until you tighten them to the axle lol . the lady trusted her shop mechanic over me and Midas, Lady why would I want to spend 150 more dollars ?? If the wheel bearing was good I would have put it in the car duh who wants to spend more money. So basically they offered nothing in return and said I was lying. I would never do business here again and this 1 star review is well deserved for you !!
Great service, I recommend calling if you find a part online rather than e-mailing. The employee on the phone was very helpful/responsive and the part was shipped next day.
