I broke down on I35 as it was getting dark and cold. AAA told me to call 911 so I could get help faster. I was connected to JT Towing and the person told me he doesn't work with AAA and most tow companies in the area do not either. He said it could be a long wait for AAA out of Duluth. I was 110 miles from home, he said he could take me and my daughter home with the car. I knew this would be expensive, but felt very unsafe on the side of the interstate. While waiting for TJ to come out, I decided to call AAA to double check if that would be an option. Well, it was!!! I was on the phone with them, when JT arrive ready to hook up my car. I told him I wouldn't be using his service. He insisted he should get something for driving out there. Since I was stressed and not wanting a confrontation I agreed. He charged me $100. I regret paying him anything. He lied and was very dishonest about AAA not being available. Be very careful doing business with this company.
I went off the road on 35 and the fates sent JT to get me out and in the road in no time. They took care of me and got my truck back in road condition, I can't say enough good things about them.
I was so pleasantly surprised to hear Jamie’s voice answer my call for help so quickly later last Thursday night. He was so nice and assuring to just hang tight and he’d be there for my Subaru lockout in 20 minutes….all the way down to Willow River. He must have departed to help me immediately because he was there before 20 minutes.
