Great car buying experience today. Walked in, they took a copy ofy license, and gave me the keys to whatever I wanted to test drive. As has been said by others- absolutely NO PRESSURE! The fellas were content to let my son and I check out cars as long as we wanted and leave us alone, but they were around when we had questions. Dealt with Rob and Preston- laid back, chill guys. Rob told me- ya get what ya see- perfect description of this place. They sell used vehicles, which may have some issues. I didn't get the feeling anything was hidden. No slick sales tactics, just straight forward fellas and used cars. I will definitely be back in the future.

Just purchased a pt cruiser from here great service I swear the best in the twin cities I been to other Auto places in the twin cities and they all treated me bad way even tho i had good credit plus a down payment also over charge me. But Bob Auto treated me with respect and kindness plus the prices they have for the cars are really good and monthly payments are reasonable. not like other's auto sales in the twin cities also when my PT cruiser had engine light come up after couple days of purchase Bob's Auto treated me right they put new spark plugs and a battery in my pt cruiser free of charge so if your ever looking to purchase a car please purchase them from Bob's Auto there the best in the twin cities 🙏

Best car buying experience of my lifetime. Able to look around and inside vehicles with zero pressure, test drove the 2018 Ford Edge I saw on the website. Gave me a discount on the card fee since they don't do money transfers/wires and was on my way in under an hour,.even after looking around for 30 minutes. Eric & Preston were awesome and vibe is very laid back, solid salt of the earth family business!

Had a great experience today purchasing a 2010 Subaru Impreza Hatchback at Bob's Auto Ranch. Preston (and really the entire team) were great to work with. Zero pressure whatsoever. Zero. They have a huge selection of vehicles ranging from trucks, sedans, economy, cars, SUVs, and luxury cars like Mercedes Lexus and Porsche - all at competitive prices. Per CarGurus, the Impreza I purchased was priced at $1,600 below market value. If you're looking for a used vehicle, you definitely need to check out their inventory. You won't be disappointed; in fact, you'll be impressed! Oh, and be sure to ask for Preston. He's Bob's grandson, he's really easy going, and he definitly knows his cars.

The best car buying experience I've ever had. My oldest needed to buy a car on a tight budget so I found Bob's Auto Ranch online. We went to the lot and were able to walk around and look to our heart's content. We asked to test drive a car, were given the keys, and off we went. The salesman we worked with (Eric I believe) was amazing. No pressure, great conversation, and we were in and out of the purchasing office within maybe 30 minutes. We paid cash so I don't know how long financing would add to that time though. Overall, loved this experience and will definitely be going back when my youngest needs a car.

I bought a car from Bob’s Auto Ranch, and I regret it. They were not honest about the condition of the vehicle. When I test drove it, everything seemed fine, but shortly after purchase, major issues started showing up—things they clearly should have known and told me about. When I went back to talk to them, hoping they’d make it right, I was met with some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. They were rude, dismissive, and basically acted like it wasn’t their problem anymore. If you’re thinking about buying a car from here—don’t. Save yourself the money and the stress. This place is not trustworthy.

Nearly three and a half years ago I bought a 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid at Bob's Auto Rance it's still running in excellent condition.All I've h ad to do is regular maintenance. Thank you so much to you and staff.

We recently bought a 2017 Honda Pilot from Bob's at a great price. Took it for a test drive and everything seemed to check out. After, that is, they jumped the dead battery which they replaced by the next day. We knew it had a prior salvage title so we took it to our mechanic who found no major issues. Bob's did break a plastic cover piece when replacing the battery and were not willing to fix it. Offputting, but not enough to not buy the car. Bought it and 10 minutes off the lot it started throwing transmission system warnings. Turns out it needed a new torque converter. Called Bob's and they said they would fix it in their shop free of charge. Picked up a week later and have had no problems in the 2 weeks since. We'll shop here for our next car but will definitely check it over thoroughly and test drive it at highway speed for a while before buying.

My son purchased a car here. They needed to jump start it in the lot.The following day, the battery would not work. Long story short, Bob's stepped up to the plate and "replaced" the battery. They are not your typical car salesmen. I would recommend this place for their honesty, sportsmanship, value and customer service.

This place is basically a junkyard. They put nothing into the cars the buy from auction. We went out to test drive a few we saw online and when we got there the people working seemed like they were bothered that we were there and like we were interrupting them, except they weren't doing anything and no one else was there. They gave us the keys and the dealer plate and told us where one of the cars we were interested in was located in their dirt lot. When we got to it the passenger side front tire was completely flat. Not just low, COMPLETELY flat. And they didn't even know. They clearly just buy cars, dump them in their lot, and add a few zeroes to the price they bought it for. Don't waste your money or your time at this place!

Extremely rude and unprofessional. We came in to exchange our car for one of theirs. The owner decided he didn't want the car, but instead of declining politely, he wrote NO in capital letters on a piece of paper and slid it to us saying it was his offer like he was an 80s movie villain. As we were leaving, he said he could've helped us find a place to sell it but "he sensed too much hostility from us". Most likely knew he didn't have the ability to sell a working car from the looks of other reviewers.

I have purchased a couple of cars there. The prices are generally very good, the selection can't be matched for a small independent lot, and their people are always friendly and helpful. They have everything from very basic up to luxury SUVs. The key to finding a good car there is to know what you are looking at. Almost every used car on an independent lot came from an auction, and it was at the auction for a reason. Sometimes they have too many miles or are too old for the dealer to put on their lot, but sometimes there is a mechanical or electrical issue the dealer did not want to deal with. If you know how to analyze a used car, and are willing to sift through the collection, there are some real deals there. If you do not know cars it would be easy to get something with a lot of work required. My most recent purchase I got for about $4000 under book, but had to put $1,100 into fixing the AC right away... even though the window said "Cold AC." I am happy though, because after the repair I still got a good deal.

great people, lots of choices, I mean a lot! good prices. we are very happy . here are a few cars we looked at. the day after the car broke. an electric isssuse the car had, that had been covered up. I know the rules in MN, but it sucks. then, after 6 months, the engine blew. Sigh!!!!!

The folks at Bob’s Auto Ranch were very friendly and easy to work with. They also sold my daughter a car that had been in an accident with the understanding that it had a clean title. $3K in fixes due to the “unknown accident,” and it now needs a new engine which will be at least another $6k. My daughter has owned the car less than six months. I was hoping to hear back from the folks at Bob’s Auto Ranch after I sent them an email. Giving Bob’s Auto Ranch the benefit of doubt that they were unaware of the accident the car had been in, I would have appreciated a email or call back. The “buyer beware” policy is alive and well at Bobs Auto Ranch.

We always buy our cars from Bob's Auto Ranch. They have the best prices and A LOT of cars and trucks. The whole process is just easy. There's no pressure because they won't try to "sell" you a car. You see a couple of cars you want? Test drive em, if you have any questions you can ask anyone that works there(they're ALL very helpful), pick the one you want and buy it. Plus, it's a local family owned business and I've heard that the owner gives a lot of time and financially supports an education program in St Paul.

Nice place, you will find a good variety of AWD, pick ups, and cars, beware, there's construction road going on, you may need your GPS, and tons of patience to get there

Fantastic used car lot!! My salesman was Alexander and he was excellent! Very knowledgeable, genuine, and helpful. He was honest about the cars and found the perfect vehicle for me! Very nice people and willing to negotiate! 10/5 stars!!!

Please have a mechanic preview the car prior to purchase!!!! Save yourself time and money. My car was purchased in august. Lasted until end of October . Now I need another car. Paid $4,100 to drive for two months. Don’t go here!!!!!!! I had already put over $700 in it before the transmission went out. Mechanic there if he even is one… never checked fluids. The antifreeze coolant was bone dry. !!! Battery at less than 50% power. Just terrible!!!!!!!!!! I had a non profit agency buy this for me. I don’t have a car anymore. I bet Bob had a great Christmas without even looking back at this. Karma comes

This is one of the best dealerships I’ve been to. They were very honest, knowledgeable and straightforward with every vehicle they had. I purchased a vehicle there about two months ago. And I love my car they gave me a good deal with what I had. I highly recommend.

Bought a 2007 Ford Expedition about a month ago. They did have to jump the vehicle for my test drive and so they “put in a new battery” when I bought it. After the battery died the next day after buying, we took a look under the hood and not only was it an undersized battery but it had quite a bit of corrosion indicating it was not a new battery. I wish they would’ve just taken a good $150 off the price so we could replace it ourselves if I had known that was going to be the case. With a new and properly sized battery, found a parasitic drain due to rear windshield wiper not being functional (I was aware of this upon purchase) and just needed to disconnect the fuse in order to stop this drain on the battery. At this point had to replace the battery AGAIN, as well as a couple fuses for radio and heat. Ideally, they could have told me this and saved me some $$$ if they inspect their vehicles prior to selling them. Now, car is in the shop for a roughly $1,200 job to replace all spark plugs and coils due to noticeable misfire when driving— resulting in blinking check engine light and associated rough riding symptoms. Again, ideally they could have warned me of the need for spark plugs/coils if they inspect their vehicles prior to selling them. Without knowing any of this, this vehicle had seemed to be the best deal within my price range with the fewest visible concerns. At this point, this vehicle has been a world of stress. Honestly just wish I would’ve gotten a heads up, could’ve gotten a head start on the work or planned ahead when I bought this vehicle a month ago. Good guys with what I hope and would trust to be good intentions, good selection especially if you’re in the $2,000-$7,000 range in the present used car market— just try to go on a weekday when you know you can bring your prospective purchase into your trusted mechanic for a once-over before buying. Don’t rush; paying one day out-of-pocket for car rental to ensure my mechanic was available could’ve saved me $1,000 or more.

They let you take your time and look without hassle. They were honest. If Robert had bought or driven the car he was happy to tell you what he knew about it and if he hadn't he let you know that. Felt well taken care of and will probably buy future cars from them. If you don't like the typical high pressure experience, this is the place to go, take your time, and enjoy the experience.
