There’s a difference between charging a fair, honest price and exploiting a situation to take advantage of people. The staff was friendly, but the pricing felt like extortion.
This company just saved my whole life... I was on my way to work and my car stopped driving! I pulled off and called the only company I remember seeing because they have cool trucks and I loved their name. The dispatcher Corey was so kind and sweet and helped me get a tow so fast to my car service repair place! Marty the owner was so nice to work with too! I would recommend this place to everyone and anyone for the rest of my life!
Service was great unfortunately had to get it out and towed but staff was really good ant what they were doing and helpful. They too measures to make sure nothing was damaged and took the time to do it right

I have had the pleasure of working with Hooked Up Towing for the past 3 years. Travis and Marty are wonderful to work with. They are professional, on time and have fair pricing. When I got a flat tire on the side of the highway, Travis was there in minutes to help me. It was my first ever - he was very patient and kind and got me back on the road in no time. Great service always.
I called three places and Hooked up had the best price. They communicated very well during the whole process and were flexible with me on picking up my vehicle. Would use again.
They drive ridiculously fast. They think they have the same privilege as emergency vehicles and they do not, they’re putting other drivers at risk. When I reported thus their dispatched played the superiority card. Terrible business imo.
This place is so shady. They work next to shady people. Just to get money in there pocket. These people should be ashamed of themselves. Taking vehicles in the middle of the night while in driveways that don't have payments due or anything mechanically wrong. Especially getting kickback's from those shady places. Ruining people's lives that already don't have money and are sick. No human decency what's so ever. Companies that work side by side that are shady. End up loosing in the end.
Just leaving the tow yard and speaking with other individuals that got towed. They are targeting trailer parks. People that have no money to begin with. 3 vehicles they towed because it was touching the grass. These people are greedy. They don't do anything honorable. Try making money with respect.

I chose Hooked Up Towing to help me get my SUV up to a highly recommended transmission shop. My experience with this company has always been great, even though I'm usually retrieving my car from their impound area. I think I've dealt with Travis the most and have always gotten a feeling that he knows his job well. The lady answering the phone was professional, helpful and actually picked up the irony with me choosing this tow company. Thank You, Hooked Up Towing!

Got a flat in Fridley on a freezing day. Best prices I found in metro area. Customer service on the phone was fast, friendly, and accurate and the tower Travis got there in under 30 minutes! Highly recommend.
Drivers are extremely rude. I was going to move my car so it wouldnt get towed and he would not allow me to go inside to get my cellphone and belongings. If they all have dash cams and body cams they only work when they are on because you would have seen the incident that occurred 12/1 and seen the unprofessional conduct of your driver. I also have video evidence of them dragging someone's car in park without putting dollies under the front tires which can cause serious damage to a transmission. The driver also showed no care for the owner of the car and gets close to him with his rig while pulling the car. Their lack of professionalism and disregard for safety is alarming.

This company has no place in the town business the things I have witnessed on numerous occasions in the last 6 months from this company is unimaginable I highly suggest any body use this company for any reason they are also over priced.
They claim to have cameras on them and their trucks but they must always be off considering they some how miss every bad interaction with customers they are completely greedy the drivers are completely unprofessional and blabber back mocking u like a little kid instead of talking to you
And just to add I'm not mad "just because my car was towed" I'm just sick of seeing such an unprofessional company in my parking lot. my car was not towed by you guys at all nor would I ever allow that to happen if protect my car at all costs from these clowns!!
Horrible customer service the heavy set driver is lazy and dosent tow vehicles properly hes just in it to make a quick buck has almost hit numerous people and claims parking lots as his property dont bother replying with the same comment you guys use on everyother 1 star review id like to here back about this personally and i got video evidence to prove this all
I needed a tow from Burnsville to Andover an they hooked me up with a price I could afford an an live with! And my truck was back in less than 2 hrs! Driver was amazing he dropped my truck right into my garage! I'll never call another place other than hooked up towing!! Y'all are the best! Keep up the amazing job!
They are always on time & very easy to understand. Marty & the staff have been very great to help me out when needing a tow!!! They took the time to understand where I was & explained how the billing works. I got no surprises when the driver showed up. They even gave me a ride to the location of where I had my vehicle dropped off. Very respectful & reliable. I highly recommend them to my family & friends. If I could leave a 0 star review... I would. This place must be writing fake reviews because their staff is nothing but rude, snarky, and unprofessional. My car was towed from the street last night- November 5th. Previously my establishment used city wide (which is 25% cheaper as-well as every other towing facility in the area). When I called Hook and Tow they quoted me for my car being in their lot, for not even 7 hours, $375. And I had to pick it up before 2 pm (it was 12 pm). They only accept cash and will not accept card or check. This alone is weird and leads me to the assumption there is something happening under the table. I read other reviews that mentioned a door dashing scheme where they tow your car in under 4 minutes. The workers seem like con artists as well. The woman at the front desk was acting very suspicious and said that her mind wasn't working right that day. Does it work any day? Didn't seem like it. When she walked me ti my car she was very polite and in turn I was too even though I was disappointed in the price to get my car out of the lot. While I got in my car and waiting for it to heat up because it was 43 degrees and raining she stood by the building and waited for me to leave. I felt bad since it was raining that she would be standing there, but I wanted to let my car warm up for at-least 5 minutes. She went inside at the 3 minute mark and 1 minute later a skinny, blonde, tweaked out looking guy came up to my boyfriends window. When promoted to roll the window down he asked if there was a problem, In which I replied no I was just letting my car heat up. He told me "You don't need to let your car heat up, get off my lot right now". The tone that he used was very unprofessional and provoking. When I got home and inspected my car I noticed a scrape about the size of my pointed finger on the rear left bumper. From other reviews I have read, they will not take responsibility for this, and I do not want to get into an argument since I am very angry at this establishment. Unlike these characters, I have self respect and will not succumb to their unbecoming level of properness.
This towing company participates in a growing scheme where a DoorDash/grubhub etc order will be placed for a private lot and when the customer requests the delivery dropped off at their door directly they swoop in and tow your car in less than 4 minutes. they charge $374 for a next day fee over 25% higher than local average prices. They also require transactions be made in cash with exact change and do not accept check, when I was picking up my car they attempted to not give change to an older lady picking up her car the same day. They are also only open for 1 hour on some days and require appointment making it hard to you get your car back to rack up charges. The invoices are cryptic and times and other info are inaccurate. They put fake reviews on google using spam accounts to keep their reputation up.
First time having a car towed and it was great. Not worth it to do it myself for their amazing price. Showed up extremely quickly after calling, very nice over the phone service, and very nice driver. One of the best experiences I have ever had with any company. Definitely will be going to them again if/when needed.
I want to up this review to a solid 4 stars. It was difficult in the beginning. My children's mothers van was ordered to be towed out of her apartment parking lot. Hooked up just happens to be the service they contract to preform that service the way I understand it. It was getting her belongings out of the vehicle after the fact. She fell to far behind to afford getting it out. But long story short, I and one of the drivers got into a shouting match. In the end she was allowed to get her belongings and our daughters 5 and 9yrs old were there too, to see us come into agreement and have a peaceful ending to an unfortunate event. They were very apologetic to us, as I was to him. So again Big Ups to all you'all down there at Hooked Up, I know it ain't easy dealing with people who be getten all peopley. Super easy to schedule with dispatcher Corey, very fair pricing, and response time. Needed a tow and was able to get it immediately and placed exactly where I needed it with professionalism in my driveway. Would highly recommend and use again!
Hooked up towing saved my life. I was up there on vacation when my car broke down. They were very pleasant and came within the hour which was quicker than any towing company i’ve ever dealt with. They were very personable and careful with everything they did. They truly cared for me as a customer.
They are A THIRSTY TOWERING with NO Consideration for towing your vehicle, or returning it, I was in a rental car, not even parked in my apartment complex for five hours before they told me and refused to give me the car back, and refused to set the rental agreement that I was the driver for the car and allow me to pay for the tow and retrieve the car now it has cost me $22,000 just for the tow people not giving me the rental car back at the rental car person having to come to retrieve the car they are a total nightmare. I can’t believe the disgrace of releasing a car when you have the money to pay for under their terms they will get more money because it was a rental car so they can overcharge the Reno people instead of just excepted the toll charge and release in the car back to the person who was renting the car. I am super late. Disgusted with this company that Tow calls me a vehicle price $2200 is never worth a toll that wasn’t even in their lot for hours. This is ridiculous and hiding under the clause of us a Minnesota state law I’ve never seen the law. They never show me the statue, so I am in debt of $22,000. Thanks to them being thirsty. I give them 10 thumbs for customer service. They are totally a nightmare. This is a tow company from hell and they all have gasoline drawls on burning maze, Satan, get them at the gate…..
Had the unfortunate need to have my daughters car towed. Only good part of this experience was the fabulous driver, I believe his name is Jakob, and his great attitude! Friendly and beyond helpful! We will definitely be calling again if we need a tow! If you see this Jakob, you are awesome!

They got their own sales tax rates.
I checked with Minnesota Revenue and the Sales Tax for their location in Blaine Is 7.125%, but the sales tax they charge is 8.11% CASH($24 on $296 charge).
The Minnesota Revenue was notified and will investigate where they got the 8.11% tax rate!!
They only accept cash, but have to be exact amount, because they don't have any cash to give you a change.
They also put a substantial dent on my vehicle and when confronted about it, they ignored me totally, they are leaving me no option but resolve the matter thru court system.
My vehicle was parked in front of the townhouse where we were dropping of two little sick kids, we needed to go inside with the kids to help the mother of the kids to calm them down.
The townhouse development didn't have any signs about parking restrictions or towing.
The vehicle wasn't blocking anyone and it didn't took more than 10 minutes before we came out after calming the kids, the vehicle was gone.
When I asked the towing company to show me what legal rights do they have to tow my vehicle I was told it's not my business.
In my opinion without showing me some kind of contract for towing and without the signs about no parking and towing, this is no different then stealing the vehicle.
I guess the court will make a decision in this case.
This place works on the very edge of mn law. Here are the photos of the spot I parked and CLEARLY no signs visible that say no parking. They hide the sign when you first come in so you can't see it. Then Say well the residents should tell you you can't park there. Sadly that isn't how the law works the sign must be visible from the parking spot. They only accept cash and hold your car over night even though they towed it not even an hour ago. If the money I paid to this scum ball of a company wasnt so miniscule in I'd file a case. But when someone does get fed up and does file here are pictures of where I parked.
Engine disabled on the highway, called this place and the person who I originally spoke with had his driver contact me within a few minutes. Driver was there ASAP. Very smooth and quick job hooking the car up. Extremely impressed with the service for a great price!! Hopefully I won’t need to get towed again but best believe this is the company I will be calling back if needed. Awesome job.
