Incredibly over-priced. >$200 to get rid of sleeper loveseat and recliner. Decided to drive the extra 30 mins to TC Refuse in St. Paul who took the same load for $45
Do not use Anoka County Recycling. This is a private company posing as an Anoka county facility. They will not answer phone calls nor list prices on their website. The wanted to charge me $85.00 plus tax for a mattress / box spring. Walter’s charges 33.00 including tax. This is an unethical organization.

Super convenient and fast service. They gave me a very reasonable quote right off the bat for a U-Haul full of items. I was in and out in 10 mins or less.
We rented a trailer to drop off during Saturday's hours. Disappointed to find out it was closed and no reasons given to why. There were 6 others waiting shortly after 10 for about 30 minutes before deciding to leave. Very frustrating.
I expected to pay $75 based on their photo of the prices. They wanted $185. Scam.
Please do not go there. Everywhere else is much cheaper. Waste of time.

We worked with David, he was great. It was easy to pull in to the yard, David helped me unload, and we were on our way, less than 5 minutes. Very nice and helpful people!
They are the nicest guys. So helpful unloading the truck. Hardly had to wait. They took all my stuff. Quick, easy, painless. I highly recommend this place if you need to get rid of your stuff.
I had an ABSOLUTELY amazing experience at this place. The workers were amazing and very helpful they unloaded nearly my whole load of stuff in under 10 mins quick,easy,and great prices! Will definitely be going back!!
First and last time. Over priced and price listed was unclear. Dropped off two twin mattress and was told 107 then went to pay and price changed to 174 after tax. When asked, staff said it was 85 a piece. I could literally buy two new mattress for what I paid. As others reviewed, expect to pay 3 to 4 times more than other companies. Never going back. If you need to dispose mattresses and furniture go else where.

I went with a load of wood. I was late so they wouldn't take it. I asked the attendant how much it would be for the load. He told me $55.
So, I come back the next day with EXACTLY the same load. A different attendant tells me it would be $75.
So, what happened with my load? Did it grow? Was it heavier?... no...
Just the whim of the attendant.
They list $40 for a basic load but they don't specify what that it.
A good scam, but it should not be.
Disclose your prices fairly.
We dropped off a full baby crib with mattress , frame , spring . It was Easy and quick , definitely will recommend if need to get rid of some junk and especially during spring cleaning season !
The hours are a lie they are not open Saturdays. They are open for you to pay them to drop off. But you can not drop off and get your scrap price.
Very disappointed this place could just change the hours online and the voice mail. But clearly to lazy.
As many here have said, this place is a rip off and the workers are rude. I dropped off five 8ft boards and the charged $45. They said it was a good deal because their normal price for a “loose load” is $65. I would not consider 5 boards anywhere near a loose load. Cost more to dispose of them than purchase them.
Do Not Use This Place. Complete rip off. I had a few plastic items, and one medium sized piece of aluminum scrap. The kid wanted $60!! Very unprofessional, run down facility. Times are hard enough these days without being ripped off just to get rid of some junk.
Tried to drop off a load of landscaping ties, usually not an issue to pay the 75.00 to do so, today they quoted 220.00 because they didn’t want to take it, Per the worker on duty. How about just saying your full and you can’t take it guys, instead of being ridiculous?!

Ryan was efficient and helpful in helping get rid of some packing materials. I have done the comparison shopping and $40 for a load on a a good deal compared to the cost and time of making it all the way out to the dump.

Super easy process, great customer service. They do say self unload, well the two young men let me help. Had to huck my lumber and metal beams up and over 8' high metal bins. It was kinda fun. SO GLAD!! I could drop this stuff off, that Hen. Co. Couldn't accept.
Set your expectations now: it is a small location, there is a $40 minimum, a full truck bed is $65, overflowing truck bed is more. If you think this is bad, try MPLS for a day. They'll charge you double, make you do the work, and have you wait 4 hours for fun. If you need to use this location, carve out time (30-min or so) and hope there is no line. I found the staff friendly and helpful. Thanks for this nice little service.
Tom was the best!! He really helped us out!! We drove all the way up from Minneapolis and made it at 4:59 on a Saturday. We were exhausted from a long day of moving and only had our truck for one day to drop this load. He was so helpful and pleasant especially on top of the fact that he didn’t even work there today. Really appreciate it. Definitely will go here again! Great service!
They were the only place open past Noon on a Saturday which was nice. They took both our loveseat and queen size mattress with box spring for a charge. It ended up being $120 total which honestly is almost double where someone else had quoted me but they were only open till noon. I probably next time will find someone closer and cheaper to me but I paid the money because I needed to get rid of it and no one else was open. Staff was really nice and helped unload the items. Gave it a 4 due to price.
