I generally always seek out a thirlbys for their guidance and help. Needed to purchase the correct wire part to crimp, didn't know the correct color due to the fuse getting to hot. Within seconds, of her swallowing her mid morning snack, all she said was nope we don't offer advice like that I would have to find a shop. Not other customers were in there. I guess yeah. I've never been turned away at any location like that.
I don't know if this gets anyones attention, but for a full year the parking lot of this store is absolute shame on the company that cannot get this fixed even after bringing it to the attention of the managers. there is no excuses for this disaster. So many out of town visitors get a view of our village by the worst parking lot in Michigan. Fix it already! Why does the whole town has to look like a dump because of incompetency of some manager!

I've ordered countless parts for our auto body shop just behind Thirlby's, and they have served me well. The people are nice and Ken is really good at finding the right part for me. And if I end up not using something they accepted returns without hesitation. Keep it up guys!
Always have or can get what i need for my various projects. Came in over the weekend needing some special oil. The customer service i received was great! Keep up the good work!
Was heading to northern Michigan to enjoy the recent snow storm ❄️ doing outdoor activities. The driver's wiper blade was awful so we stopped to pick up new one's. When we walked in the clerk was very helpful. Parts person offered to install it. Very friendly folks. So glad we stopped in.
Most extensive parts & services with small network in the area/custom paint and engine shop(TC). Knowledgeable and friendly staff, I'm not mechanically inclined & they have always been helpful. Still provide free air hose usage; fill portable propane tanks and THE seller of hunting & fishing licenses.
This Thirlbys is definitely a small town store more than part of a chain. I go here for my propane refills. They are definitely the cheapest in the mesick areas for refilling your tanks. The women are super nice and it has the same couple every time so you get to know them well if you go there often. They're always smiling and helpful. The store has a unique mixture of hunting and fishing gear along with camping and tubing accessories. The guys at the automatics counter are knowledgeable and always super helpful. I highly recommend this store to anyone in the mesick area.
Looking to support home town business's. Hard to when treated so rudely by cashier on more then one occasion. My father and I were both in store recently to purchase ATV stickers. CASHIER was very rude and insulated my senior citizen father. Reveling to US THAT she went to primary school and could make change!!!! My father who wears hearing aids was embarrassed in a public setting in front of community peers and my self. I have never seen such unfriendly and rude person be the face of a business when working the front. If she is working at your business she representing your business.
Great prices, good product selection, and super helpful! They let us borrow tools when we had to do some quick emergency car repairs. Definitely recommend!
OH very good, I needed a furnace part, they directed me to a local hardware that had the parts. She looked up phone number and gave me direction. Very nice customer relation I experienced there.
By the looks of it they have just about every thing else.

Thirrlby's always seems to have what I need and if they don't they can usually have it the next day. Many times I have been caught in a pinch and they were and be to supply me the parts I need and at at decent price as well.
Great service only complaint is the cost is a little high but it is small town convenience so I don't normally mind since Paul is very helpful. They just had a change in backup service counter worker so not sure now but in the past I made sure it was a day that Paul would be working because he's nice and knowledgeable.of the dozens of auto parts I've had to buy only two times I picked up the wrong part but both times it was my error for giving the wrong vehicle info. Just a great small town "know your neighbor" kinda place.
Great service, the people there are very friendly and know the part your looking for. Very competitive prices, and saves from making a drive into town. Great place, my ONE STOP SHOP for automotive parts.
