Had my car towed before the other tow company I ordered showed up. They were very empathetic to the circumstances and very price accommodating. Would definitely recommend and use again
Worst experience and most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had with a business. My son was involved in an accident and they towed the vehicle to their yard called to ask a few questions and was greeted by a very rude employee actually hung up on me two times while I was trying to ask basic questions. My wife called later and luckily, got a hold of the woman in the office. Allison and she ended up doing a very good job helping her out and us out with the questions we had.. But but they experience I had with with the person who answered the phone the first time I could never recommend this place for anything.
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE and professionalism,I went with my friend to help him get his car out and he had a title that apparently they couldn’t work with so the head man threw the paper at my friend and said we can’t help you .i will make a long story short I later tried to talk to him to see if he can explain something and he was being rude and cutting me off while talking .i tried to get him to listen then he started to disrespect me and tried to end the conversation so i told him not to do that because im just trying to get an understanding so then his coworker then begins to yell at me claiming im yelling at his coworker and started to point his finger in my face telling me to leave so then I politely asked the man if he was okay because i was not understanding why he got so hostile with me ..long story short very unprofessional and unpleasant place i would hate if it was them that ever tow my car . I pray my lord and savior Jesus Christ touches the workers heart because I don’t know if they were having a bad day or what but no body should ever be treated the way they treated me today.
Can’t say enough nice things - my experience with Livonia Towing has been fantastic! Allison was so extremely friendly, helpful, informative and just gave me SUCH excellent customer service; I cannot say enough nice things. This company has been so professional and courteous, they’ve made a not-so-fun process an easy ordeal! I will definitely be calling them if I ever need another tow.

They were friendly i don't have much experience with tow company because I normally use aaa but I wasnt home for this collision my car was towed there and stayed there for 4 days the fee was $535 so I'm not sure if that's high but they charge what they Charge for their fee overall the front counter girl was cool the fee didn't come out of my pocket be cause a friend wanted the totaled car but I did lose a car this is the 5th car in 3 years my teenage daughter totaled and I still keep buying her another one I dont know why so dont ask
Even though it was my fault that my car was at this tow yard Keith was awesome and helpful. My front end did get damaged from awkward spot getting my car towed but Kieth made sure to send me to a shop to get it fixed and covered the damage that accidentally happened. Thanks for correcting a less than ideal situation for me.

Home gave me great advice and guidance during this very frustrating period of time. Without her help, I would’ve been beside myself trying to answer questions I didn’t know answers to. One of their drivers was driving recklessly, speeding @ 6:40 pm 2-7-2024 going southbound on Farmington Rd near the police station. Tailgated another driver that was stopped at a light, layed on the horn and swerved madly. Continued tailgating until they bullied the driver off the road. We followed the truck on Lyndon (a school zone) and they were speeding 30+ in a 15mph

TWO of their drivers were driving so recklessly on I-275, doing approximately 50mph on the shoulder while traffic was at a standstill. Watched them nearly cause 4 more accidents
Edit to reply: the driving on the shoulder isn’t the issue, the issue is the RECKLESSNESS of the driving. If nearly causing 4 additional accidents while flying by traffic 50mph faster is considered your standard business practice I’m not surprised at your unprofessional reply. Slowing down to CAUTIOUSLY drive past traffic would have taken an extra 30 seconds of time, and cleaning up an accident isn’t a life threatening scenario.
Nearly hit my car as two tow trucks drove on the shoulder of the freeway doing 80+ miles per hour with their lights on and laying on their horns pretending they were emergency workers/vehicles. I understand they need to get to the accident, but you’re not an ambulance, going that fast for no reason is extremely dangerous.
I just want to thank Livonia Police Department and Livonia towing for taking care of me and my car after I was hit by a vehicle. The tow truck drivers didn’t just drop my car!!! They cleaned her up and propped my car up with the axle that was cracked from the collision. almost had me thinking I could drive it out the lot.
Very easy going process to get my vehicle back after getting impounded by LPD. Tow truck driver went above and beyond. Didn’t get his name, but thank you sir.
It all started when my car hit a road hazard that was not cleared off the highway! Livonia Police officer stopped and called Livonia Towing Co. right away to get my vehicle towed without asking or telling me ahead of time to get my approval!. Through my insurance I do have Road Assistance and my husband has already requested for a service to come over. I was suprised of this behavior by the officer and it was unclear for me to understand as I was not asked before hand???
Then I went to get my truck out of the lot and here was the shock!.. The Staff were rude, disrespectful , and racist to the bone!. I was asked to submit my registration and of course my registration and insurance were in the Glover box. So I told them that my documents are in the truck!. They went and came back stating that they are not there! and I know it is an absolute lie, but they stated that they will do me a favor and release my truck this time. They also pointed that I need to get a new registration certificate issued because I don't have one and that is not VALID nor TRUE...
Before I went to the lot I did my homework and read reviews prior to going there. I arrived there and I was not surprised as I could see and hear the racist tone and arrogance behaviors by the staff. I decided not to argue much because I am a woman and most probably If I argue they might even call for police to back them on their lies.
I could only say that his place are a bunch of crooks and all they want is to make people life difficult and get more dirty money by putting obstacles and delay the release of my truck.

First the staff is rude and disrespectful. Once you begin to question them over the things they have done they get scared and call the police. Went to get my car and the rude lady kept getting smart it was evident that she is racist. Once they get tired of talking to you they call the police. I was there for hours because the lady said that they did not have my car key. Never did she get up and go to check. She then started to blame the police department so since I have sense I went there and they say oh it states here that Livonia towing has the key. She was trying to call the police and persuade them to arrest me. Once the officer confirmed my statement she felt stupid. When she saw that wasn’t working she resulted to being disrespectful. I guess she just got tired of me being in their yard then out comes the truck driver with the keys. Never apologize or anything for her handling the situation in the manner that she did. You see the business you are in if you are scared you should just find a new job. Wouldn’t recommend this company for nothing especially with her working at the front desk.
Used their services twice. The office staff and the tow drivers are great!! They were quick and professional. I was fully informed on the next steps to take, as the first time was an emergency tow. They have a large secured lot where they were able to store my vehicle if needed. I received contact cards from both drivers in case help was needed in the future, and I really appreciate them . I highly recommend using this company if you are in need of a tow near the Livonia area.
they broke the power steering on my car. there was a leak where the car was toed from. I'm from grand rapids.. and when I got back home there was no leak marks on my driveway of any kind. but only at the place where it got toed.. when I got back to grand rapids to check if it was leaking before it was not. they also stole my vape from the car. I have herpes. lmfao enjoy that!
No one wants to get the car towed especially depending on the circumstances, truthfully the lady was very friendly and professional. Honestly would've given a 4 or 5 however more car had to sit overnight and the person who towed my car left my window open and of course it rained. I was obviously annoyed but truthfully outside of this overall the staff was Professional. Stuff happens and thankfully my electrical components all still worked.
One fine Friday afternoon ,of my company vans burnt up, and Livonia Towing was assigned to tow it to their yard. Monday was labor day, so come Tuesday morning, I called to find out what I needed to access the vehicle to get information for my insurance company. The woman who answered the phone was polite and told me clearly what was required before I drove 45 minutes to get to their location. When I arrived, I presented my paperwork and had access to my vehicle quickly. I got what I needed and left.
They made this step of losing a vehicle as easy as possible so I can get on the road to a replacement.

I don’t recommend the drivers are amazing people the one I had he was very kind to me. But whoever Keith is was very rude to me on the phone while trying to take my payment and had an attitude about having to try a different payment method. I don’t understand why this man was so mean I was just trying to get home. He was being really mean saying I don't have money and I'm wasting his time he doesn't wanna talk to me anymore because I don't have money which I indeed did because I ended up paying it in the end when eventually after some talking to by his driver he let me try a different card which he wouldn’t originally and tried putting my car in the lot to make more money. He wouldn’t talk to my father who was on the phone with us as well and ignored him the whole time.
I just wanted to say how much I appreciated Livonia Towing Company’s service. They were able to respond to my call and have my vehicle hooked up within 1/2 hour of my call. They were the best price around! Everyone from the person that took my call to the truck driver were very professional and courteous. I highly recommend!
I am a service manager for a dealership and I have done business with all of the local tow companies, Livonia towing is by far the best company that I work with. Professional and prompt. Jack was at my house at 6:00 in the morning to pick up my car. I was so worried about someone messing it up due to how low the car is to the ground, he knew I was worried and he took great care of it as if he owned the car. The owner of the company Diane was super professional and understanding of my needs. Thank you all so much. Great Team!!!!!!!!! I hope I never need one but if I do, I'm calling Livonia Towing.
A older friend of mine had her car impounded by police after a minor incident leading to the discovery that her driver license had been revoked pending a review of age related capability. I tell you all this because we , her friends, were unsure as how to proceed on the best way to get her insurance to minimize her cost of getting her car released. At that point the owner of the business, Diane Wilson, stepped in an gave us step by step guidance as to how to proceed with police and insurance reports and even printed out information as to sale value of the the vehicle in question. I was so taken aback by her kindness I asked why she was taking so much of her time and being so helpful to which she replied " I didn't get into this business to necessarily make money, I simply like to help people when I can !" You Can't do better than that to insure customer satisfaction and loyalty !!!
I would of rated a lot higher if the tow truck driver paid better attention to what he was doing. I spent 5 hours in the ER due to his neglect. Oh, and charging me for two days when the car was paid out less than 12 hours after being towed in. I would never call them for a normal tow.
A little difficult to find with mapquest. Passed it up, but eventually found d it. This place could use a better sign. The reviews had me concerned. My vehicle needed to have personal items removed and the plate removed I brought a screw driver for the plate. I had expected uncordial service when I went in, but the two women who were working were very professional and very attentive. They assisted me immediately and we're kind.. I went to retrieve my belongings and realized I didn't have the right to oil to remove the plate. I called them from outside and they were more than acco.modating offering me some wrenches no questions asked. I was grateful for that and took them back to them gave them the keys and that was it. An easy process. When I asked about the reviews, the woman said it was written about her sister, who wasn't there that day. Well. Whoever the two women who were working that day, were more than hospitable with great customer service. I believe they should be recognized so that the reviews can be balanced. The only reason I gave it four stars is because of the map location and confusion and needing a bigger brighter sign for the building itself and entry location. Hope this helps others.
