Edit: Changing company name doesn't negate any negative reviews. You're still Budget1 Towing. Do not use this company. If your insurance company assigns this company to you, immediately have it changed. They will lie about how long til they will be at your location, will make up excuses as to why they are late and will even call and berate you after you've waited 5 hours for service and changed towing service providers. That's right, at midnight on a Thursday night I got a phone call from Budget1 stating "you are aware that tow companies get behind arent you? I see your sisters brothers mothers wife or something left a review about us. Do you still need service?" To which I replied that the other company has already been assigned and was in route and he came back with, "okay call me in an hour when he doesnt show up" and hung up on me. This took place after waiting 5 hours for his driver to show up, which btw, the driver reported on sceen 2 minutes before the estimated ETA and never even showed up. Truly a joke of a company. Not even deserving of 1 star.

Wait time was supposedly 60-90 minutes. Sat for 2 hours while the truck they assigned didn't move on the State Farm tracking app while they were probably out eating. They kept telling me that they were still dropping the previous vehicle. Finally decided to book another tow after waiting 2 ¹/² hours, and the truck still hadn't moved! Worst service ever!!!

Beyond terrible service and outright lying to Ford Roadside Assistance on the actual status. First 2 hour estimate extended another hour and then an endless parade of 30 minute extensions, each time claiming the driver was "on the way" only the be given a new excuse when the latest 30 minute window expired. "He's dropping off the last vehicle before yours and will be on the way" despite being told on the previous call the driver was en route and guaranteed to be there in 30 minutes. After that window was missed, it was "the last pickup was an electric vehicle and those take longer" (despite again already being told the driver was on the way). I get being busy, but at least be truthful about your ETA and/or don't accept the work if you can't do it. More then tripling your original ETA (and still not delivering!) is a bad look. After 6.5 hours of this, Ford Roadside Assistance finally switched to a different provider, which of course started in me over in different queue which resulted in yet another 3 hour wait, but at least it's done. I'd probably STILL be waiting if they hadn't switched towing companies for me.

Towing company was dispatched at 9am to fix a flat tire via second party contractor. Towing company canceled the work order request to fix flat tire at 12:00 noon. Tow driver inappropriately referenced female vehicle attendant and created extreme discomfort. Would not recommend this company to do business with. One star since ZERO stars was an option. Three thumbs down.

absolute garbage. after my roadside assistance connected me with this company it said 60-90 minutes, 90 minutes later i called to check they said oh they need to extend for 90 more minutes, here i am on the highway waiting and they didnt even bother call to update, if we didnt call we wouldnt have known, this company is TRASH, if you see them assigned to you make sure you call and request a different company. horrible horrible. after reading all the other reviews i can confirm that they are all true. horrible!!

Called USAA to schedule for my car to be towed at 4:45 and finally cancelled the car at 9:45 after waiting for 5 hours. They called me at 7:30 and told me it would be 30 minutes longer…I am thankful that I was getting my car towed from my house and I wasn’t stuck on the side of the road or at a business having to wait for 5 hours. They need to stop having insurance companies use them since the clearly cannot handle the business. I called my insurance company and told them to absolutely never schedule them for me ever again and to take a look at this company and not use them to their customer. If you see them assigned to you, cancel and ask for someone else!

Called for a tow through State Farm at 630pm. It's now 410am and still no tow. I've been next on the list and 45 minutes out 4 times in that time frame. Horrible business! If I could give negative numbers I would! And I'll cancel State Farm if they ever assign them to me again! Pitiful!

Absolutely terrible. This company had me waiting for a tow for six hours. And if they had it their way I’d still be waiting. Luckily I was able to switch tow providers so I should be getting my car sometime soon. But I put in the request at 3:30. At 6:30 I called for an eta for the 4th time and the man I spoke to said I was next to be towed. Three hours later. Still no tow truck. And they wanted to extend it yet again with no communication of any time extension or why it took so long or how I went from next being towed to waiting three additional hours and nothing. Beyond unprofessional. I really feel like they don’t know what it is that they’re doing. If you can’t tow a car then you shouldn’t be a tow company.

This company is absolutely terrible took over 5 hrs to not tow my car for my insurance company. Had to have it re dispatched every time you call they just tell ya it will be another hour absolutely would never use this awful tow company.

If I could leave negative stars I would. This company left my girlfriend waiting on 75 for four hours. Original time slot was by 4:30, finally showed up at 6:30, with no communication, after going to the wrong location. Then the sorry excuse for a driver informed her that he didn’t have a license and had to stop on the side of the express way three times because he “had a bad tire” and it was raining. Took an hour and a half to complete a 30 minute drive. Not to mention he was on the phone FaceTiming and smoking cigarettes the entire time with her in the vehicle. Sounds made up, but it isn’t. The fact that AAA went through this company calls into question their judgment aswell. You’re better off pushing your vehicle wherever you need to get to. You’ll get there faster. And probably safer.

If I could leave negative 1000 stars as a review, I absolutely would. Contacted my roadside for a tow, and they got this company to do the pick up. Contact was confirmed at 6pm and at that point the ETA was 90-120 minutes.. I called the office directly to confirm if that was my timeframe and he told me closer to an hour. fast forward to 8pm and I FINALLY get a call from their driver, after I called them a total of 3 times for updates, and he says another half an hour and he will be there. 1 hour and 15 minutes later and I call them AGAIN to have him tell me a priority pick up came through and it was going to be another hour to an hour and a half. He told me the driver should have called me to tell me about the change in time. 4 hours later and I had to call roadside again to get a different company to get my car off the side of the road. Really wish I would have read more of the comments about the way y'all choose to conduct business and saved myself from wasting my entire night. If I ever have the misfortune of having to deal with you at all, I will make sure to push my car home first.

This is who my insurance company called and it was horrible. I actually scheduled the tow between 3:00 and 4, then my insurance company called to make sure they showed up at around 415. I then informed them that they had not so they called budget collision back. Budget told them that it would be within the hour. At 5:30 no one had shown up yet so I called back. My shop closes at 6:00 and I needed the tow to be there and scheduling at 3:00 one would have thought they would have made it on time. No at 5:30 I called back they told me 10 minutes. At 5:45 I called back again because the driver still wasn't there. At 6:00 a driver calls me and tells me it's going to be another 37 minutes and he had just gotten the call. No way not happening I was livid. So I called my insurance company back, they called budget collision and collision told them well we've already been there. That was a flat out lie. My fiance had been waiting for them since 2:30. He missed half a day of work and we ended up canceling the tow at around 6:30 because of their incompetence. Stay far far far away and if your insurance company uses them beg for another company.

The following details the horrific experience I had with Budget One's tow service. I've first written a summarized version to warn potential customers; after, I've listed time-stamps and pictures to bring the matter to the company's attention for quality assurance purposes. ____ Shorter version (for potential customers): Upon requesting service, I was notified that the ETA was up to 60-70 minutes. As the hours passed by, and each time I became worried that no one would arrive, I was the one who had to call. The company's dispatch advised me 3-4 times that it was just another half-hour. After a wait of around 3 hours, the first driver could not find my car at the location I provided. It was the only tan car there (pictured) and I had someone there to wave the truck down. Instead of calling me for further detail, the driver drove miles away (I couldn't reach him when trying to call/text). 15 minutes later, he called me to tell me he had given up. Over three-and-a-half hours after the initial service request, I was back at square one. It wasn't until I called and had to argue with the dispatcher that my car was indeed where I said it was, that they sent another driver, who, after about another hour went by (now at 4.5 hours), marked he was on his way, and found the car immediately (imagine that). Despite the 60-70 minute ETA, the overall wait in reality was over 4.5 hours. I was charged $91 for a 2.7-mile tow. No discounts were offered for my experience. Further, my car was held by the mechanic a day longer because of the late tow and the time needed to complete the job. Add onto all that the money lost from the municipal parking meter, and the fear of being ticketed for exceeding the three hour max parking time, and you have yourself one hell of a day. ____ Time-stamps (for Budget One/any others who are curious): On December 28, 2020, ~9:30 a.m. I set up a maintenance appointment with a local repair shop and called my insurance provider for a tow. 9:41 a.m. Budget One confirmed my service request. Its ETA was 60-70 minutes (pictured). 11:50 a.m. (2:09 after service request) I called Budget One directly to check on the status of the tow. They said one tow was ahead of mine; someone would be on their way shortly. 12:06 p.m. (2:25 after service request). I called Budget One. Dispatch assured me there was only one half-hour left, apologized for the inconvenience, and said they would ensure someone was on the way. 1:00 p.m. (3:19 after service request) The driver called, explaining that he was on site. I had someone with the car ready to wave the truck down. Despite my car being the only tan dodge stratus on the side of the road, the driver never approached. (I tried calling/texting back, but the driver's number does not receive calls). 1:17 p.m. (3:36 after service request). The driver called back saying he searched along the road for 2 miles, he was giving up, and he was heading off. I urged him to go back to the downtown Rochester address provided, since I had been waiting for a tow for approaching four hours at that point, and someone was there ready to wave him down. He said he would check with dispatch and call back. He never called back. 1:33 p.m. (3:52 after service request) I called Budget One, and the dispatcher was argumentative, stating that she had had back orders because my car was not where I said it was. (It absolutely was; and it was the only bright tan car parked on the side of the road in Rochester's downtown on main street). I had to insist fervently; then, the dispatcher said that she would need to send the next-closest person after their delivery; he was about six miles away. 2:12 p.m. (4:31 after service request). The new driver was on his way. 2:19 p.m. (4:38 after service request). The new driver finally arrived and had no issue locating the car. (It turns out the car was exactly where I said it was). The tow was subsequently completed. ___ Sincerely, Zack

They seemed great the first time I needed assistance and then the second time was the bummer. I waited several hours patiently when they were expected at 4:05pm, but never showed so I called hours later at almost 7pm and was told that they were trying to call me but nobody from the towing company tried calling me at all. I tried calling them back and was hung up on for telling them that I’ve received no calls and want to make sure they had the right number on file. They finally found the location, and just because I called my husband over to tell them where the car was to tow they flat out refused service. They left after I waited hours. The worst service ever.

The driver and office workers were excellent. The big problem is that State farm uses this company for road service and the company is very over extended. State farm needs more towing contractor s. Bottom line is that it took almost 2 hours for the tow truck to arrive.

Dispatched through insurance for roadside. Waited over three hours. Called three times. Still no show after 8pm. Cancelled. Still needed a tow next day, insurance dispatched them again, took the car to the wrong repair shop, grease on door and seat. Wish there was a zero star rating.

Dear fellow drivers, if you have a road side emergency and get assigned to this provider, CALL YOUR INSURANCE OR BRAND DISPATCHER TO DEMAND CHANGING THE SERVICE PROVIDER IMMEDIATELY, for your own interest, safety and happiness. This company will not care about your emergency at all. I was first given a 47-min waiting time, and then told to wait for another hour, and told to wait for another hour. At the end of the second waiting hour, it appeared apparent that this provider will never show up, and I switched to another service provider and got covered in 40 minutes. AVOID 'BUDGET COLLISIONS Inc' at all cost.

Waited FOUR hours for a tow truck to come. I was constantly lied to about ETAs. If they say " 30 more minutes" they're lying. Customer service also hung up on me when I requested a different towing company (I called from the Allstate website thinking I was calling Allstate customer service). Sounded like I was calling a personal phone number and I could hear a bunch of people talking in the background. No "hello" or introduction when she answered the phone. I don't know who I talked to and I believe that was intentional. If you get this company don't even bother wasting your time. Cancel and put in a new request. I cannot even believe how unprofessional this whole ordeal was.

My husband has been sitting on the side of the road for THREE hours waiting on this service. Everytime I call I get a new story "oh the drivers only 3 minutes away" "oh he had to grab ONE car before you" he is STILL SITTING THERE. I will be letting progressive know since it was set up through them. This is Absolutely absurd. Pretty sure that because I called and complained about the two hour wait, they decided to go even longer. Terrible service. Do not use them.

Driver towed my father's totalled van back home and was very careless when lowering the ramp of the tow truck in the driveway. We have an awning over the top of our side door and he bent it out of shape and almost broke it off. Accidents happen, but he completely blew this off like it's not his problem and told us to call our home owner's insurance to fix it. Our home insurance has a $5000 deductible, and Budget1's insurance company has a $1000 deductible which are both more than the cost of a new awning, so guess what? We have to pay for the damages that they caused. Basically, they can cause up to $1000 worth of damages and they don't have to worry about a single thing. Very unprofessional and careless, I'll make sure we never deal with them again. PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL IF THESE GUYS TOW YOUR VEHICLE AND MAKE SURE YOU DOCUMENT EVERYTHING.

Called insurance they set up with budget sat over 2 hours noticed it said they were on sit but was not called and was told it would be another 1 -1 1/2 longer ended up calling insurance to get someone else had them get a new company to me in 15 minutes so what ever your needs are if someone sets up with budget tow find someone else. Looking at the reviews from others after I changed tow companys explained everything. Not sure what's going on their but definitely needs new drivers

I waited 4.5 hours but a tow truck never came for me. I waited 2.5 hours past thier original ETA. I called the company multiple times for updates and they wasted my time by lying and telling me a tow truck would be on its way instead of telling me to find another company because they were overbooked. The staff clearly has no clue how to effectively manage thier resources to get customers help in a timely manner. So I cancelled my request and found another company who both arrived early and had my spare tire put on in under 40 minutes from my call. If you are looking for quality towing service I highly encourage you not to trust this company.

Worst towing experience. Waited 8 hours for a tow truck. Called several times and was told six times they would be there in "5 minutes". They never showed up. Received a message stating they were "on-site: Not true. DO NOT USE BUDGET TOWING

This was the absolute worst towing experience I have ever had. I called at 1:15 p.m. was told they would be there at about 2:20 2:25. I called back at 2:45 was told it would be another 20-25 minutes. I called again at 3:19. And was told "I'm not going to lie to you my man it's going to be another 20-25 minutes". I kept referring to being caught in traffic. I googled, and could not find any traffic jams in the Detroit area. Finally after over 3 and 1/2 hours of their lies I called my towing service provider and they are going to send out another tow truck at 7:00 p.m.

I WOULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS IF I COULD!!!! Ordered the tow (confirmed by one of your associates) at 9:30pm. ETA on the tracking website stated 10:54pm. Called in at 10:45pm just to check the ETA with a person instead of a website and was told 30-45 minutes longer. There was an update on the website tracker that stated the truck was on the scene at 11:10pm, and no truck in sight! I have time-stamped pictures as proof. I was upset (understandably-since it is New Years Eve) but waited. I then received a phone call from the driver at 11:30pm asking me to send him my location from my iPhone to his. I was a bit taken aback since I had already confirmed my location both with a representative via phone and the website AND the website stated he was already there, but I still complied, and I sent my location to the tow drivers personal cell phone (which made me extremely uncomfortable, but I didn’t want any more delays). I waited 17 minutes, still no arrival which is weird because your office was SIX MINUTES away from my location. So I sent another text to the driver asking for an ETA. I was then told another TWENTY MINUTES because he had to STOP AND GET GAS!!!!!!!!!! The level of unprofessionalism was ridiculous!!!!!!! My three young children had to spend the New Year watching the ball drop with my neighbor. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!! Edit: The owner did reach out to me in regards to my experience and was very apologetic and sincere. Thank you, sir, for your professionalism. Nobody wants to deal with an upset customer at the start of a New Year.

We needed a flat tire changed today. My Mom called her insurance and then we got a text that Budget Collision would be coming. Within a few minutes we got another text that said the tow truck had arrived and the service was complete. No truck in sight. My Mom called the number to check the status and confirm that help was still on the way. The dispatcher was SO rude on the phone. I’m giving 3 stars because the driver was great and very polite. He was also there within 45 minutes and got the job done quickly.

ETA was 945 I'm still sitting here waiting for a tow and it's now 1130. When I called to ask why their site states the tow truck is here and in tow the guy tried to cancel the tow service. I understand eta is estimated time, however dont tell me my truck is in tow when you plainly are not here. Just state the truth. Would never recommendations.

This morning aprox 9 am, Budget Collision was supposed to tow my car to the repair shop. (It broke down) They saidthey were busy and it would be about an hour. The man went on to say it would be ok to lock up the car, leave a note and go on home. Since it was freezing outside and snowing I did exactly that. To my shock the repair shop called me about 4 pm to report the car never arrived!! I called the tow guy back - he says sorry, we were busy and Never towed your car!! Come to find out the police had it towed and now I owe $185 to release my car and have it towed - by someone else- to the shop. At minimum Budget Collision owes me $185 !!!

Budget was sent to us by Progressive insurance on 9/28/2019.The driver was polite and efficient. We had a wait for them to get to us but that is understandable because he drove from Lincoln Park all the way to Dryden. All in all I am happy the driver was so polite, and efficient while unlocking our car.

The guys over at Budget collision did a great job on my custom exhaust installment! They worked on a few of my cars in the past and saved me so much time and money! The customer service is great. You definitely won't be disappointed, call them today I'll be bringing my cars here for more great work!
