Very fair prices.. You need to know what you you are doing so you know why a peace of scrap is #1 or #2 and if you are not sure they will tell you what you have and ask what else you can do to make it easier and worth more. They have a great crew working here you. When you know you know.
I dropped off coils. They paid me $.50 per pound even though they pay 1.25 per lb for them saying that one piece of metal which weighs less than half a pound makes it contaminated. They didn’t tell me until afterwards don’t go there.
A snail could load these trailer faster. Watching about 5 guys on the ground standing around, while 1 dude is on a forklift taking about 10-15 minutes to load one pallet at a time. Been here over an hour being loaded. Do better people. Please.

Wonderful experience with this company the man I talked to on the phone and at the building was extremely nice and very respectful even after I changed my mind and took back the engine piece I was trying to sell them. I would definitely recommend this business to my family and friends thank you for a great trip with my first junk yard experience.
I don't understand how they can classify themselves as a scrap yard when they don't know what bailing is so do you future scrappers do not take none of your clean metal to this place cuz they will rob you like they did me
The process here leaves too much room for error. Errors cost money. I brought in aluminum siding and some brass. Brass weighed on inside scale. I informed tenant I would go over outdoor scale w siding as was a large load. I told them the color and make of my truck. After 1st weigh I dropped aluminum as directed. When I weighed empty and came in the tenant who just weighed me didnt have my correct info. He said I had 60lbs aluminum. No way! Truck bed was full. He directed me to 2nd tenant who tried paying me for shred. After informing him I had aluminum, he had to verify w a 3rd tenant I wasnt lying. Turns out I had 160 lbs aluminum. At .25 a lab that's $25 I would've lost. Not the 1st time this has happened here. Not going back. GLE is much better.
I've been going here for over 20 years they pay the best n one of the best on customer service there yard is kept up mostly cemented so ur not walking or driving thew mud

Had the worst experience period here. The people they got working the scales is terrifying and terrible to say the least. If you scrap do not go here. If your black completely stay away. Matterfact go once and I promise you returning will not happen
Wouldnt send my worst enemy to this place. The ignoramus who works the scale and has been there for 20+ years will screw you out of every penny he can. I had to take my 2 young daughters with me and as i was very distracted keeping them out of the way this jerk weighed me out and without a word, took my scrap and put in a pile of more scrap, then *motions* for me to come over and says "sign"...paid me 1.40/lb for what was bare copper wire, on receipt says i brought in field coil. Avoid at all costs, or it will cost you.
