Don’t take your vehicles here. You can’t trust that they won’t steal things out of your vehicle or off of your vehicle. It a shame you take it there to get fixed and the price is already through roof but then you find out things that where on your vehicle when you took it to his shop are no longer on your vehicle when you get it back.
Clayton Auto Services, simply put is the BEST. I took my truck to a Dodge dealership that I won't mention, but they tried to rip me off and they had horrible customer service. I MEAN HORRIBLE!!!! I needed my gas tank replaced because the hoses had leaks. Dodge had my vehicle for two months, and then called me saying that it would cost $3200 to replace the gas tank. Now I'm no idiot, so I quickly did my research, and found a brand new gas tank for my Dodge Ram truck was $189. So Dodge was charging me $3011for labor. Ridiculous!!! I called Clayton Auto Services, talk to a wonderful lady name Brandy, and she quickly started working on my issue. She called me back a few hours later and laid out a plan with cost to fix my issues. I drop my truck off a few mornings later and they had me fix before the end of the day at a fair price that made sense. I'm definitely a customer for life, all my vehicles needs will go through them from here on. Before you get rip off at the dealership, please contact Clayton Auto Services 1st!! I STAND BY IT. I brought a truck I had just bought in for an inspection to see what problems I might need to deal with in the future. The inspection was thorough and the mechanic was very honest about what was an immediate problem and what could likely be a problem in the future.
For such a thorough inspection the price was incredibly fair and this is a shop I would return to to get work done on my vehicle.
I have been taking mine and the wife's car to him since 2015. Troy is an amazing guy that always is able to fit me in and if he cant he will be honest with you, yet will still try and get it done as quick as he can. Fair prices and very reliable! The work done is great as well, never have gone back to say "well it's still not fixed." I highly highly recommend troy at claytons! I also noticed this is my second review for the guy under a new profile I had to get, hes that good though!
Troy is a friendly, honest and excellent mechanic. Where as many shops are just parts changers, this shop goes way beyond that. Because of that he is busy. Be sure to call him for an appt.
Very nice people! I was in a predicament as I was driving in the pouring rain and my driver's side windshield wiper came off. I was able to make it to this shop. I had no money and told them that with a promise I would come back to pay.
They put a wiper on and a hand shake and I was back in the road! What they did for me was priceless!!
Troy is a great mechanic as opposed to a parts changer. Honest and fair but he is busy so call for an appointment and don't be in a rush. Your repair will be right the first time.
He has worked on my wife's vehicle twice and mine twice. He's quick and so far has done a great job on our vehicles. I had a bad starter and he ordered one and replaced it. Turned out it was a lemon starter. So he ordered a new one and got me done in a day and didn't charge me to replace the bad starter that was ordered. Friendly and willing to help you out.
I'm a part time lake resident who was in a bind and needed a quick fix on a brake issue. Troy got me in and out in a hurry which was very much appreciated. Thanks; Lynn Meyer
