Had my vehicle for 2 months to get warranty work done said he did everything they asked to prove it needed a new engine then just quit working on it and told me to get it off his property without putting it back together and drained all fluids out of it when I tried calling other shops to finish the work nobody wanted to touch it because it was worked on by Gary's now that it's at another shop I'm finding out not only did he not do the work he said but he damaged my vehicle more I definitely would not recommend using this shop
Gary has helped out my family numerous times over the years. Including coming and getting me unstuck from the snow during a storm! Very helpful and honest
My wife Lorraine's vehicle wouldn't start when she was on a getaway with her friends in Lexington this past Friday. I have been using Gary’s for awhile and the work was always done well until this time. I had a leaky strut and needed to have them replaced so I bought my own online , also I chose to purchase a Rough Country 2” leveling kit so I could get larger tires under my Jeep… I dropped it of Easter Sunday when I spoke to Gary the following Monday he said he was having a little trouble with the lift but it would be done end of day.. I picked the vehicle up ( couldn’t notice a large difference in height but figured it was just cause of the small lift) I drove out of there happy cause the thumping strut was gone .. friday came along and I decided to finally wash my Jeep ( I work on a dirt road so it stays dirty) and I noticed the damage in the picture to my rim .. I went back to the shop to be told ..”what do you expect to happen we had to use an air chisel “ when I asked why I wasn’t informed that it was damaged …. Then he told me he wouldn’t replace or do anything to compensate me for damages … irate I left , Saturday I went to Firestone in west Bloomfield where my uncle works to get my larger tires put on and come to find out from his mechanic that not only did he damage rims but he also NEVER INSTALLED MY LIFT KIT!!!!!!!! There were no spacers or anything on the front strut or rear coil … and he charged me an additional 104$ to do it …. If it wasn’t done that means he also lied about that and kept my parts.. I videoed the techs removing my tires and showing me the missing lift … I had to settle for the same size tire in an all terrain … and now the replacement rims and reordering of a lift will cost me 1400$ …… STAY AWAY
Terrible experience, poor customer service. A service that should have only took 1-2 hours took 6 hours, no courtesy call about the wrong parts delivered and guy answering phone was not friendly at all. Left mud in our clean truck. Truck smelled of fuel. Definitely don't recommend this shop.
