Was visiting from out of town and my key fob died.
They not only sold me a battery for it - but they also took apart the FOB and inserted the battery for me and gave me directions of where I could get my tired filled.
These guys are great and I'm grateful for their service.
Found the part I needed, but not at the location. Employees were great and found the part nearby, even took the time to write down the part number so it was easy picking up.

We were in Birch Run for a farewell dinner with the family at the start of our crosscountry road trip to move our newly college gradute son back to California. As we pulled in the resturant, we noticed a squeaking in the engine compartment and molten rubbe splatter around the serpentine belt tensioner. One of our dinner companions ran me down the street to Advanced Auto. They had the part, belt, and scrounged together the tools to do the repair. 30 minutes letter the truck was squeak free. Could have been a disasterous start to a long trip. A sincere thank you to the staff that helped me!
We were headed up north and stopped to get air at the gas station since my low pressure tire light came on, only to discover a nail in my tread. Of course it was after the tire stores had closed, so we stopped by Advance Auto Parts to ask if they knew anyone who could fix it since it was critical that we arrived at our destination that night. No one was open, but Cameron behind the counter not only recommended a tire plug kit, but then came out to our car to remove the nail, clean the whole, and install the rope plug using the kit (without the tire going flat!). I'm pretty handy, but this clearly was beyond my skill set. True customer dedication and compassion that we don't see very often these days. Thank you Cameron for saving us from a painful start to our important journey! You just made me a loyal Advance Auto Parts customer!
Always helpful and friendly service, they always have what you need and if they don't have it they can order it for you. Very knowledgeable staff and always willing to help you figure it out LOL I recommend Advance Auto Parts and give them five stars for exemplary service with a smile, even if it's covered by a mask
Traveling through MI for the weekend....suddenly my dash lit up with a variety of codes and alert. We pulled into Advanced Auto and a kind and very helpful gentleman came out checked the codes made a quick adjustment and we were on our way to our vacation!’ Thank you so much!!
They can't tell the difference between 1/4" and 3/16 bunch of uneducated idiots worst parts store experience I've ever had $40 bucks for 1 brake line not impressed.
Helpful, knowledgeable staff. Higher prices than autozone, but these guys actually know what they're talking about, and you can buy something other than the garbage Duralast brand.
