After spending over three stressful hours on the side of the interstate, calling every service we could find within a 20-mile radius, we finally got the help we desperately needed. James, our roadside assistance tech, was a true lifesaver.
Despite us being completely lost tourists (with poor location info), James stayed calm, responded quickly, and found us fast. He arrived in less than 30 minutes and had our blown tire changed in just 15 mins on a very busy highway, no less. What really stood out was his care for our safety: he had my children and me stay safely inside the car while he worked efficiently outside.

I hit an ice patch on 196 and ended up in the ditch alongside the highway. I called Romeyn’s and Jim was there within 10 mins! He was very kind and got me out in under 5 mins. Highly recommend if you are in need of a tow truck!
My car was stuck at the end of our driveway, partially on a busy road. The driver came over quickly and even backed my car up my long unplowed driveway since I was watching my twin grandbabies and couldn't come outside to move it! Amazing customer service! Highly recommend!
Jim was our hero when my son needed a tow on a slippery, icy evening when his car literally got stuck on top of a road sign after taking the sign down. We needed a hook truck to get the car lifted off sign- not just a flatbed tow truck- and Jim came to the rescue! Jim arrived quickly, got the car unstuck and took care of the insurance claim. My son, upon returning home, said “that went about as well as it possibly could have.” Thank you Jim!

Romeyn’s was amazing! I got a flat tire on I-196 on my way to a marathon and was under a time crunch to both get my race packet and get to a service station to get my tire fixed! I called multiple towing services, but Romeyn’s was the only one willing to help me in a reasonable time frame. Within an hour from when I called, my torn tire had been removed, my spare was aired up and installed, THOROUGH instructions had been given to ensure I didn’t exceed the recommended speed on the spare and I was given assistance with safe passage back into traffic on the interstate. Superior customer service, super responsive and fair price…..highly recommend this company if you’re in need of roadside assistance in the Holland MI area!
I work at a local nonprofit and we called Romeyn's when an abandoned vehicle was left in the right of way for our parking lot. They were prompt to get here and provided quality service to relocate the vehicle into a parking spot. Jim took care to move the vehicle in a way that would not cause further issues for the owner. I asked for cards so I could recommend them to others!
My F-350 broke down pulling a good size enclosed trailer full of supplies for our local Boy Scout Troop. Romeyn's were out to our rescue in a very reasonable time and pulled the truck/trailer combo to the local Meijer parking lot for a very reasonable price. Great service and a fair price.

Jim!… thank you so much brother for coming to my rescue. Today is Tuesday, December 5, 2023 9:45 pm. I was stranded in West Olive, gave Jim a call. He was there within the hour. I called him at 9 o’clock. We dropped off the vehicle to where it was going to get repaired and I was home at 9:45
Had two experiences with this company this week (same vehicle). First was good, they wede able to take the vehicle to the repair shop and the individual was pleasant. Unfortunately after picking the vehicle up from the repair shop, the vehicle failed again, so I called romeyn's, explained where I was at and after saying the vehicle type, the individual on the phone said they don't service this vehicle and hung up (the same vehicle they towed 2 days prior). I called back to get clarification and the individual on the phone was very rude.
We were visiting a college in town when our car broke down. Completely stranded in an unfamiliar area, Jim Bos of Romeyn’s Tow picked us up within 20 minutes on a Saturday afternoon. He dropped our car at a very reasonable/fair repair station and provided rent-a-car and hotel options in the area. He ended up dropping us off at a restaurant in town, so we could wait for our ride. More than just a tow, I highly recommend!

My passenger rear tire was flat. I tried but was unable to loosen the lug nuts. I called Romeyn’s Services and requested a tow. Instead of saying, “yes” and taking my money, the gentleman whom I spoke to provided the option of him trying to remove the flat and putting my spare tire on. This was the cheaper of the two options. He told me that if he was unable to get the spare tire on, then he would tow my car. It was honest and fair
Two gentlemen came to my house, which is a 20 + minutes drive from where they are located. They had all the proper tools and gear. The lead guy explained that my lug nuts were not the best for Michigan’s climate extremes. He kindly explained that my lug nut heads are chrome. Moisture builds up underneath the chrome and causes the nut heads to swell, making it harder for the lug wrench to fit over the nut heads. He was able to make quick work of it and put my spare tire on.
It was a great experience. They were very informative, fair, and helpful.
What amazing service! They did an amazing job hauling my tiny house. A towing service ended up being more practical than renting a truck to haul it myself. The best! Another local company left my wife and 2 children in a ditch for 2 hours through AAA then said they could not pull her out. Romeyn came out in less than 20 minutes and then drove them to the gas station to use the restroom. They go above and beyond and I could not be more grateful to this awesome company!!!!
