The last 2 years ive taken my car to Dykstra's. Engine, transmission, tires, brake line, starter, they are the only one I Trust with my car. My car is back on the road 🙌 🤗

My tire was losing air and I didn’t know why. I came to this shop, and they found that my rim was cracked in three places and showed me the damage. The wheel was not repairable. They removed the wheel from the car, inspected it, diagnosed the issue, and didn’t charge me anything. This shop doesn’t try to upsell or trick you they actually find the real problem.

They replaced my tires with the wrong ones, week later the right ones, did a wheel alignment before winter and I noticed the beginning of spring the brand new tires wore down to needing them replaced they denied doing it so I made them redo the alignment All I wanted to do was argue I did not pay it for the last wheel alignment to fix the problem. I do not recommend going to this location.! I’ll never go there again!

I had very unexpected exhaust problems and stopped by to get it checked out on Friday afternoon. Ben was wonderful and took a few minutes to crawl on the ground and see my problems. He had me bring it back Monday morning and it was set to go by the time I got out of work.. Ben was extremely busy and he worked me in to get it fixed for me and he was the nicest and friendliest mechanic I've met yet.

Angela was a very helpful service writer. She explained to me the process is answered all of my questions quickly on the day of the service. The work was done very very well. Glad to have my truck back working like new. Great !

This was my first time at Dykstra’s auto in West Olive and if I ever need work done again it will be done here! Chris was easy to talk to and he made it easy to understand what it was that needed fixing. Sometimes it’s hard to spend more than $1000 on repairing your vehicle but when you know it’s done right and done quick it takes the hesitation away. Thank you Dykstra’s!

The guys at Dykstra in West Olive helped out with a tire issue today on, of all things, my tiller. Not a typical repair for them, but is much appreciated - am back up and running. Based on their friendly service, and a neighbor’s positive experience with them on auto repairs, we plan on using Dykstra for our next vehicle service. Thanks again!!

This was my first time working with Dykstra, and it definitely won’t be my last! Very friendly and accommodating staff and I was happy with their overall recommendations and direction on what needed to happen. While no one looks forward to vehicle repairs, I’m pleased that I found a place I can trust to take care of things the right way!

Our vehicle ha d a misfire and when I called the shop Gary was helpful enough to recommend trying another part I had not changed yet to help me out before a visit to the shop was needed. The willingness to help like that is few and far between. Once in the shop they communicated well and worked quickly to provide the service I needed.

I ended up taking my car in for a thermostat/temp gauge concern. I had to bring in my car 4 times because the problem kept returning. I wasted so much time borrowing cars and hoping that it was actually fixed when it wasn’t. I got fed up and scheduled with the other Dykstras location in Allendale and they figured it out within a few hours. The west olive location was kind and fast to schedule, but I don’t think they know what they’re doing.

Dykstra’s Auto did a great job!!! They got my vehicle in quickly and also did a follow up s few days after to see how my experience was. Very friendly and professional! I would recommend them to anyone needing any kind of work done on their vehicle.

Incredibly satisfied with the level of service I've received from Dykstra Auto (West Olive) on both occasions I've taken my car to them. Very friendly and very honest. I also love their use of technology to communicate the details of the work proposed, the associated cost, etc. They also follow up to make sure things are working as they should. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

I brought my car in two different times to diagnosed and fully fix an engine issue. The cost was $2000 for the work the first time, and in a single drive to my haircut from the auto shop (no more than 10 minutes) my car went back to having low power issues and the check engine light popped back on. So I bring it back a couple days later when I can, where I spend another $500 to fix some random new thing you found, which after an hour of getting my car back all the problems came back with it. So to summarize, I brought in a car to get its engine issues fully diagnosed and fixed. Both times Dykstra failed to fix my car, while reassuring me my problems were all handled, and just wasted and drained my money. Pleasure doing our final business together!

This was my first time getting my car looked at on my own, and Dykstra’s auto was incredible. They were super patient and friendly. I was greeted as soon as I entered the shop. Customer service was exceptional, as I was given daily updates on how my car was doing and they answered all questions I had. Got my car back the next day and it hasn’t had any issues since.

We had a wonderful experience. We were sent photos of our car and what was wrong. We were told what our options were to fix the car. Great communication. They also did our brakes rotors and fuel system and had us back on the road in a day.

I took my car here because the serpentine belt snapped on it and it was missing a few bolts from that air compressor thing inside it. Another car shop told me, but anyways when I brought my car to dyksyras they said they would get it fixed called me the same day. I picked up my car and drove did not even 10 miles down the road and the belt snapped on my car again because they didn’t listen to anything that I told them what is wrong with a car. So I went additional five days without a vehicle and they charged me four times amount. The other car place was going to charge me to fix the vehicle so I figured they ended up fixing the air conditioning thing but they did not. I had to pay to get my car towed back to them so they can redo their job that they didn’t do correctly the first time thankfully I didn’t get charged for them to re-fix what they should’ve done five days prior. (Pictures I provided where of the belt that they “fixed” after driving it not even 10 miles up the road home)

They were able to get my car in fast due to an upcoming funeral. The car, a 2010 Mazda 3 Sport, was making a rattling sound. They assessed the problem, reported their findings, and provided options to us. They secured the heat shield , and did an oil change for a very reasonable price. I recommend this place, and plan to use them in the future.

Service was great, employees are even better. I brought my truck in for a tire leak, been weeks and all are holding psi now. Allendale auto did what another garage couldn't, so thank you, happy customer and I'll be coming back.

I had gotten some bad advice from another auto repair place about what the issues were with my vehicle. Luckily I didn't have time to get them repaired on my side of the state before my son brought the car back to Grand Valley. Allendale guys were great, turns out I only needed an alignment instead of front control arms. Thanks for your honesty.

This past Tuesday I brought my car in for an issue I had been having for the past few weeks. I brought my car to Allendale Auto Service back in Mid-September for a similar issue. Don and his team checked out the problem and noticed there was an issue with one of the same parts replaced back in September. Don called me back and told me it would be warrantied due to the part being new and malfunctioning so soon. I appreciated Don's honesty and integrity for what he did, and I have the utmost confidence in the work he and his team do. If you want a fair and honest estimate for repairs, Allendale Auto Service is the place! Thank you, all!

My daughter attends GVSU and came out to a flat tire. Don and his team took care of the tire in a very fast and friendly way. I run a shop myself, but I’m too far away to help her. It’s very reassuring to know Don and the crew at Allendale Auto are trustworthy and efficient to be there when I couldn’t. Thanks Guys!

I will not go anywhere else! They always let me know what the "Gold" standard would be as far as repair but also honest about what is practical. They have never done work on my car without calling me first. I appreciate that because I like to know my options and what is going to cost me! I have never had a problem making appointments and have always been able to get my car in right away and back on the road in a timely manner. I know I will not be taken advantage of and trust that my car will be safe on the road.
