Not a good experience here. Had my auto in twice for the same thing and it still doesn'twork, one other repair was broken again in 18 months, I had it repaired elsewhere and they showed me the "poor weld job" this place had done. Go elsewhere and save your time, money and frustration.
I took my car in for the first time for issues with my antilock brakes. I was very pleased with the service. They fixed my car very quickly and efficiently, and the price was fair. I'll definitely go back

Even though they were busy, they ran diagnostics on my car and my problem turned out to be a quick fix. In order to not leave me stranded, Brian stopped what he was doing, did the quick repair and I was back on the road within an hour!
It was an 8 hour drive for me that day, and I was not that close to my destination. I can’t even say how grateful I was that they understood my situation and took care of me and my car!
I'm a rural mail carrier out of Gaylord. My vehicles see a lot of wear and tear. After trying every garage closer to home, I have found that Mike's is worth the drive.
His garage is run on a level of honesty and integrity that has been impossible for me to find elsewhere. The quality of work is above par.
I called twice and both times I was hung up on. I could hear voices in the background, then the slam of the phone back on the receiver. Quite disappointed considering I heard great things about this place.

Awesome service. Was up north on vacation and had a flex joint go on my F150 exhaust . They were able to squeezed me in and had me back on the road in an hour.
Always honest. Have never had any issues. They don't treat me like some "dumb" girl and try to tell me things are wrong with my vehicle just to make extra money. Bonus is they're walking distance to a restaurant (Ellie's) you can go eat while you wait! 😁
I broke down in Mio And I had a initial thought of having my truck towed to Alpena to my trusted mechanic
a very good friend of mine here in Mio Referred me to Mike’s They got me in almost immediately and I do believe they gave me a honest deal
I will spend my money with them again.

Would think more of the shop if they kept their political views to themselves! Had I known their views before I had work started on my vehicle I would have went elsewhere. Posting political signs at a business of any kind doesn't seem to be a very smart move to me unless your already making to much money already. Service was quick(next morning).
Mike and Brian are great to do business with. Every time I have an exhaust issue, they are wiling to fix it. I've been in a bind before and needed my vehicle the same day and Brian stopped what he was doing and helped me out. That kind of service is hard to come by. My father and I have done business with Mike for years and will continue doing business with him.
What a kind gentleman! My husband and I were heading home from up north today, SUNDAY, stopped to use the restroom and noticed our trailer blew a tire. We stopped by Mike's to ask if he knew of somewhere we could go to replace it. He said he wasn't really dressed for it but what the heck, let's get it fixed!!! After 20 minutes, we were good to go! Thank you! Kind people do still exist!
Recently I was on my way to mio for my job noticed battery light was on ,pulled into local parts store and as suspected alternator was bad. Auto Value parts guy helped me diagnose. Right across the street Mikes Auto & Glass Called talked to Brian told him my situation.
