Little off the beaten path hotel that was one of the better stays we’ve had on the road. Got the jacuzzi suite and it did not disappoint. The tub was incredible! Mattresses on the bed were firm and we both slept great. Didn’t stick around to check out breakfast, but had dinner at the bar-restaurant. They had a salad/soup bar for $10 that was totally worth it! Tons of snowmobiles and people, lots of outdoor opportunities!

I was there during a snow storm the power kept going out and they had no back up generators. My friend that came with has sleep apnea so when the power went out he would jump up like he was dying, worst experience ever! If you have medical equipment that is necessary I do not suggest this hotel. There was dog poop in the front doors that the attendant just kept covering up with a rug for two days. Even after being notified multiple times by multiple people about the situation! The garbage outside was overflowing. The lady at the bar was extremely rude when I was inquiring on mixed drinks as I know nothing about drinks due to not being a drinker. I just wanted a drink to relax after a long day on the trails. The pool was nasty it felt like dirt/dead skin all over my legs when I got out of the pool. The gym could use more equipment as it would not have been good for multiple people. Next time I go I will definitely choose a different hotel.

Our stay here was beyond amazing. Staff was very polite and our room was very clean. We cannot wait to stay here again. The Bar and Restaurant were just as wonderful. Thank you so much for the Wonderful Hospitality.

My wife and I were not sure what to think at first seeing this hotel is really in the middle of nowhere, but the view was amazing. The room was extremely clean. I cannot say enough about Mary the bartender and Mike As they made our stay absolutely amazing The food was good and very reasonable and the service was amazing and thank you to Paul as well. His food was amazing. The locals were very friendly at the bar. Thank you so much Mary and Mike For making our weekend, absolutely amazing

Positive: Amazing hotel, we will be back again! Telling all of my friends about this place. They allow dogs which is awesome! Just can’t leave the dogs in your room so keep that in mind. Negative: Loved it!

Positive: I enjoyed the pool/sauna/whirlpool. The breakfast was also good. Negative: The restaurant was closed, so we had to travel 10 miles to get dinner, but that was okay.

Great location! Super clean, excellent restaurant and gift shop. Best of all were the staff that was so friendly and very helpful with our tourist desires. They made us feel like family

Good clean rooms. The in house restaurant is pretty good but the in house bar is great. The bartenders name is Mary and she has been there 32 years. Just a great experience!

Very happy with this place, great location, friendly staff, especially Robert in the breakfast area, one of the nicest guys to ever meet. Will definitely stay here again. Views from hotel are beautiful

We stayed for 5 nights. So close to the porkies and a good location for exploring the surrounding area. Our room was clean and we had a view of lake Superior. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast (sausage, eggs, waffles, yogurt, breads, juice, etc) included. The restaurant in the hotel was decent. Not a huge menu, but the food we had was good. The hotel is right on the lake and has a beach area with fire pits. Wonderful spot to watch the sunset. Nice night sky too. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. So glad we stayed here.

This is a nice hotel in Silver City Michigan, right on the shores of Lake Superior. The Lake Front rooms have spectacular views. The hotel is clean and the staff is excellent. They provide a typical breakfast with a large selection of both hot and cold items.

Nice location. Lakeview room had a nice view of Lake Superior. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Continental breakfast was sufficient- offered English muffins, scrambled eggs, sausage patties & links, cold cereal, oatmeal, bagels, waffles, juice & coffee. Would definitely stay again.

We were very surprised and upset that our bedroom window was to the indoor pool. We literally could hear everyone in the pool area and those seated right next to our room drinking/socializing. The description of the room did NOT say anything about being next to a pool. We paid for a lake view room which we could see out the living room (suite) window if we looked to the right. Tried to get another room and they would not do it because we booked with Expedia. The room was very dirty and furniture was old and dated. Fingerprints all over microwave, fridge and dressers. Lots of dust/dirt next to fridge as well. Very overpriced for this hotel, I think you are essentially paying to be next to Lake Superior.

Just stayed here this past weekend and we had great time. It’s right on the beach so you can watch the sunsets at night and they have a few fire pits to sit around. Whole hotel was clean. Robert had the continental breakfast fully stocked and came around with coffee. Would stay here again!

Very friendly and accommodating staff! Outstanding location with a spectacular view of Lake Superior. There were so many things to see and do in the area. This is a gem of a place to stay

We stayed here September 22nd 2025 in room 212. Walked into hair all over the nightstand and my husband opened the refrigerator to put stuff in there and there was someone’s left overs inside. I took pictures and went down to the front desk showed the gal working she was very apologetic and offered to come clean the room we declined as she was the only one working the front desk. She did take 35.00 off our bill. The location is great and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Just wanted the owner to know so they could talk with their housekeeping.

Rooms are a little dated. We had the deluxe lakeview suit. I assumed there would be a patio, but it was just a window looking out at the lake. The rooms were clean and it was quiet. Although the area is pretty remote, it was nice to have the restaurant and bar on-site.

Our second stay at this location. Rooms are very clean, staff is friendly and dinner was very good at restaurant. Breakfast was good also. Beach has great view of Lake Superior but due to high winds, we were not able to enjoy beach fire pit. Great location to Porcupine mountains and Lake of the Clouds.

Location, Location, Location! Located on a beautiful beach with amazing sunsets. Close to the state park and music fest! The continental breakfast was OK and did have eggs and sausage. The pool is pretty long and great for laps. Hot tub and sauna too. I don't recommend the restaurant connected to the hotel. The food and service there were subpar.

Stayed for one night with my wife and kids. Was a great surprise how awesome this hotel was. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Some things were outdated but nothing major. The hotel is well constructed, we didn’t hear anything when we were in our rooms. The pool was nice and the beach outside the hotel is an attraction in itself. The windows also opened which was a treat hearing the waves all night. All the little things this hotel did great. We had dinner and it was delicious and fair priced. The free breakfast was pretty good for hotel breakfast. We will definitely go again

The continental breakfast was beyond expectations. Clean always stocked and ready at 6 am. We came in on motorcycles and we all got very damp, laundry room was ready, change at the front desk was easy. Check in was so quick. The keys were made and ready, the rooms were the perfect temp and that hot tub felt amazing. The bar was perfect. We had some snacks but did not use the restaurant. Our room was very clean and we just had the perfect stay.

My family stayed in August 2025 PM. We booked four king suite rooms overlooking the lake. We had a really wonderful experience. The beds were comfortable. The cleaning team did a good job. The night desk person- Amy was amazing as one of the group had to come in the middle of the night. She was extremely helpful! There was a gentleman running the breakfast area who was meticulous about keeping it stocked and keeping everything clean. We generally did not eat breakfast until later ( 9:30 AM) and they closed at 10 am. Sometimes if you eat towards the end of the breakfast time, there’s no food. This was never the case - as it was well stocked everything was fresh and hot even if you came a five minutes before closing. We appreciated that so much! There was a nice indoor pool that the children in our group enjoyed. We did not eat at the restaurant and cannot remark. The back of the property is a beautiful lake superior beach with fire pits and benches surrounding them. We had a huge bonfire with our whole group and watched the sunset! I had read a few reviews saying that there are a number of negatives about this property. I have stayed in the upper peninsula of Michigan a number of times over the years. This is the top facility I’ve ever stayed at with my family. I think people need to adjust their expectations of what’s available in the upper peninsula of Michigan. We were extremely happy with the accommodations and the pricing. The whole staff was wonderful. We stayed for two nights and did not have one negative experience.

For being in the middle of no where, I think this is more than I would have expected. The inside and outside are maintained, albeit outdated (think Brady bunch browns and oranges for the rooms). Fitness center had a bit of an odor which makes you not really wanna work out. Pool area was older but adequate and clean. Most important, the room was super clean- that trumps it all. We had dinner at the restaurant and my son said they were one of the best ribs he’s had. Complimentary breakfast was just fine. Beautiful lake view and beautiful sunsets. Cute outdoor sitting area with fire pit and very kind people.

Family trip to check out the Porcupine Mountains and really liked our stay, as it was very convenient to enter the park. Thought this was just going to be another average hotel, but the lobby and rooms were nicer than other hotels. Even though an older hotel, the rooms were modern and little more comfort than average. Continental breakfast had a lot of options and sitting area was spacious. Liked that the property abutted the lake and had some bonfire and sitting areas to enjoy the sound of the waves. This is fairly remote, so amenities in the area are limited and more focused on enjoying nature. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Great hotel just outside of Porcupine Mountains State Park. It's clear the staff takes great pride in the hotel. Very clean, comfortable, and modern. The pool and hot tub look out at Lake Superior. They have a beach and seating area overlooking Lake Superior for sunsets as well as firewood for a fire. The staff members were very kind and helpful. The man in charge of the breakfast was constantly checking to make sure nothing was empty and was so kind - I've never seen that level of attentiveness in a hotel breakfast before. This is the third time I've stayed at this hotel and plan on staying again.

Stayed 1 night after starting our UP family roadtrip in the Porcupine Mountains. Excellent location and value. Everything from the clean room, nice pool and hot tub. Free breakfast was great, with hot options like scrambled eggs, sausage, and waffles. As well as your typical continental free breakfast items. The property and staff were very nice. Amazing view of the sunset, being it's right on Lake Superior. They have benches and fire pits along the water. Perfect sand beaches are just down the road. Would definitely stay again.
