Call to get new tires and rims put on my truck they weren’t even sure if they could get done. They somehow fit it and got it done. Thanks guys for stepping up to plate and give a home run today.
This place is perfect. They have honourable mechanics, they don't try to sway you into buying unnecessary parts, and their prices are amazing. Today I paid my car bill and as I got into my car, the mechanic came to my window to let me know he made a mistake with the bill. He informed me that I was charged an extra part, he gave me my money back and apologized.
I have been going to six lakes for years! Supporting small businesses , always. Friendly customer service, competitive prices. They took me for an oil change, even though they just closed, and once, the helped me bump out a small dentist I had just received and didn't charge a penny! I tipped big, though!
These guys are great! They're fast and fair. Whether you need an oil change, a new muffler, or major overhaul, these guys will take care of you. We've used them for years. 👍
Called just to get a VERY ballpark estimate...I said, "If it was the fuel pump or module" and he was extremely rude saying, "I'm not going to sit here and tell you that. You need to get it checked out." I've called other shops and they were helpful in telling me a roundabout price...literally BALLPARK, worst-case cost, but this guy was rude from the second he picked up the phone with the greeting, "Yeah?"
Oil change was quick and got my car up and running in only a couple of minutes. Was in dire need of an oil change and these guys got to it right away regardless of me having arrived before normal oil change hours. Excellent service!
I've been extremely happy with Six Lakes service. I have a 14 year old SUV which was causing me some issues. They were able to get me back on the road within a day. They do their best to keep the cost down and not sell you unnecessary parts.
These guys are Awesome!! professional with a personal touch. Good pricing, honest and sometimes faster than expected. Let's keep this local shop busy, they should always be considered first by the neighborhood, beats waiting at the dealership.🙂
No matter what I throw at them I get my car back usually less then a week. Been using them for the past 8 years I recommend them to everyone that asks me if I know a mechanic go to Tim
Had a great first experience with six lakes. Work was completed in the time frame they told me, prices were good & costumer service was great. Good group of guys working at this shop. I'll be taking my truck back to them if I ever need work done.
We had an engine replaced in my son’s vehicle. Six Lakes Service did a great job finding a used engine and replacing it quickly. Reasonable price and the team was great to work with. Highly recommended shop.
brought car in for an alignment, first time done they didn’t check any of the suspension components I ended up having bad tie rod ends and ball joints which need to be taken care of before any alignment is performed. I took care of the suspension problems and brought it back at a discounted price.even then the alignment is still off and I’d rather just go somewhere else then have them attempt it a 3td time, also had them balance some tires for me.. after picking up the car they said the tires weren’t capable of being fully balanced and still charged me for the balancing, any good shop will call you to inform you of tire problems before performing a balance. they also broke a hub spacer on the process and failed to inform me, I drove the car home and now the rim is completely screwed. place is money over service and it couldn’t be more clear.
My family has been coming here for 50+ years! I absolutely would recommend these amazing people. They replaced a whole transmission just recently for me, it was quick, painless and easy. It has always been this way every time I use 6 Lakes Service. Thank you Tim and his wonderful staff for everything! They care about their work and I recommend this company to ANYONE!

Best place around. Brought multiple vehicles here over several years now, and always happy with them. Brought my truck in yesterday around 11am and they had it diagnosed, repaired and back to me before they closed (a front end/suspension job involving both sides and multiple replacement parts) I've never waited more than a day, 2 days MAXIMUM if its a larger job and you get it there later. Excellent work!
*they also do all my oil changes! Super fast, super reasonable, and for the 10 bucks you'll save doing it yourself... just have them do it!
Good work, but expensive. They take advantage of you when your stuck & when they know they're the only service station (car repair) open on weekends !!
Wonderful kind staff that get right to the point. No unnecessary things were added or asked to be added. Prompt on getting us in the very day we called and the car was done that day!!!! Great fairly priced and quick service. Would highly recommend and we will be back if needed.

I have been taking my vehicles to them for over 15 years. Great service every time I go there. They are polite and helpful. It's nice having a local auto service center that you can trust.
These guys saved me $1,000 over another shop in Waterford that was not honest with me. I asked Six Lakes for a second opinion on my jeep that was leaking coolant. The 1st shop I went to in Waterford said I need a radiator and heater core. Tim at Six Lakes said a heater core doesn't sound right on a 2014 and to bring it in and he will take a look. He determined I only needed a radiator and it saved me $1,000. Thanks Tim!

Good quality for a fair price.
I use them for all my company trucks, and personal vehicle never had any issues, nor drama, which is great when you are very busy.
As the previous review said, this place will overcharge for repairs AND NOT EVEN FIGURE OUT THE ROOT CAUSE OF A PROBLEM. So far with them we're over $300 sunk and their repair blew out a brand new starter that was also costly and now they want $300 to fix what they destroyed! Avoid avoid avoid.
