So, I go to scrap a junk car, and they have the audacity to tell me that "aftermarket catalytic converters don't contain precious metals". Oh, really? Then what is the catalyst they use? "Stainless steel". Damn near called the cops on him. Stainless steel is non-reactive (hence the name "stainless"). Cheap CCs substitute stainless for ceramics in the internal honeycomb structure. They still need palladium, rhodium, and platinum, to do its job. It has less in it, than OEM, but it still has some. Here's some friendly advice: if you're gonna try screwing over a customer, maybe don't try it on an automotive engineer.
