A great junkyard where you pull your own parts. 2 bucks to get in and they have a list of the cars they have and in what row on the website. Ive been here a couple times and they never disappoint.

I have been to this place 4 times and never have had a good experience.. 3 times I called ahead and was told they had the parts.. I got there and they didn't even have the car there. Today I go there to buy a rear strut and they won't let us bring in a propane torch so again couldn't get what I needed.. Aisles are not number and ankle high puddles everywhere.. Window girls are rude and have no clue at all about auto parts.. They charge $2 per person non refundable only to find out they don't have the car.. This place is pathetic and a total waste of your time and money.. I strongly suggest you go to another auto salvage and stay far away from Pull in Pontiac.. I don't know how they stay in business..

Best salvage yard there is. Tons of cars, always have the part you need, real laid back people that are easy to deal with.

I've always had good luck finding parts at U-Pull if my go-to place I'm a mechanic and have been all my life but it's nice to get what I need at a fair price I respect that God bless

I went in there to buy a tail light out of a 2011 GMC Acadia. The liftgate was closed and not able to Purchase a tail light. The vehicle is located fairly far away from the front of the yard when I got back and inquired as to what to do about that. I was told there’s nothing that can be done extremely disappointing and not that it matters I guess, but I threw away two dollars and got nothing probably won’t return

We have been coming to this place for the past couple of years with great experiences, we drive well over an hour to get here, today we found all of the parts we needed, but the girl at the checkout window charged us for parts we didn’t even have, and when we came in to let her know, she accused us of stealing two visors, which we had already shown to her, I’ve never stole anything in my life and will not be coming back!

Asked for a notification when a certain vehicle was on the lot- received a text! So for two visits to get parts off that vehicle, always great prices. Have been there many times and never disappointed!

I absolutely love u-pull....I AM EXTREMELY UPSET THAT YOU GUYS ARENT GOING TO REOPEN THE MASON STORE. youve lost ALOT of business from me as I live in lansing and its really hard to get out to Pontiac. When the mason store was open I was in there at minimum twice per week.

This place has saved my ass on multiple occasions. Latest was a tiny sensor for a 2019 Ram. Tiny little part that would have taken weeks to arrive, they had an engine there with the right part. They told me to leave them a good review as payment. Be honest. Don’t steal stuff from them, no matter how small the part and they will take care of you. I’ve left tools there on accident over night, and they didn’t steal it, they’ve always had what they say, and I will forever go to this place for parts.

So today I went to the U-Pull and save location in Pontiac and had nothing but a pleasant experience. I only went to their auto yard to look around and see if they had the part I needed to fix my Ford Focus. They did indeed have the part I needed but unfortunately I did not bring my tools with me to take off the part I needed. Kyle who works there came through and gave me the tools I needed to remove the part. Kyle is a genuinely nice guy and I won't forget his generosity. I'm not advising you go to this location without your own tools because you do have to bring your own tools to remove parts. But in this special circumstance Kyle came through for me and loaned me a tool to use so I could pull off the part I needed. All I can really summarize in this review is that this place is fabulous! Special thanks to Kyle, Todd and Joe. Such a great bunch of guys who work there! But really all the employees I encountered at You Pull and Save Auto Parts were fabulous and treated me with nothing but professionalism and dignity. Thanks again You Pull and Save Auto Parts !

Was pretty straightforward finding the exact part I needed. The yard is well organized, staff is professional and helpful, and parts are reasonably priced. Easy to find what I needed and overall very impressed. Highly recommend.

Only 3 star because u can no longer carry a backpack w ur tools. Makes carrying parts more difficult when u must use there bucket to haul around ur tools in the yard and make multiple trips. Although prices and selection are very good. Staff is helping as well!

Needed a few items for my 2012 Ford Fusion - horn, license plate lights, aluminum wheel rim.
Found all the items and Ashley and Sean were very helpful and friendly to work with.
I always enjoy going there to look for some low-prices “treasures”.Nov 13, 2025 -
Great you pull place. Their used tires are organized better than any other place and you can search Tire inventory online. Prices are better than most Detroit Area used parts locations.

Please gather your necessary equipment, including gloves and appropriate footwear. The facility is well-organized, and vehicles are easily located. The cashier will provide a printout detailing the vehicle's year, make, model, and designated row.
Entry is priced at $2 per person, payable in cash. While the rationale for this fee is not explicitly stated, the value provided thus far has been satisfactory.Oct 20, 2025 -
Good selection of vehicles, decent prices. My biggest complaints would be tiny wheel barrels combined with cluttered rows. It’s really frustrating to look for parts and not be able to get down half of the aisles. ANY other yard I’ve been to clears the rows daily. And the wheel barrels are ridiculously small with little plastic wheels. Not made for negotiating a cluttered area.

The only place I know where you can pay in a 5 star review, granted I only had part of a bushing not to mention this not being the first time something like this has happened with asking for a review but just because it was a minscule item in size and value. These ladies and gents are always a pleasure to work to do business and above all are fair and I hopefully that never changes

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived. They were happy to answer my questions and helped me find exactly what I needed. The yard was well-organized, making it easy to locate parts, and the prices were very reasonable

9 times out of 10 they have exactly what im looking for and good prices. But the only downside is that it is a very messy place and all the hoods get left open so the engines get rained on and there is no drainage in the yard for rain so most cars end up with a 6 inch deep pond of water under them after any rain and the isles are always messy its hard to push a wheel barrel through.

I was running late & arrived within a few minutes of closing time. They let me in to get what I needed. It was a bulk head and pigtail to a body harness. When I was at checkout, they said to me “free of charge, have a nice day!” What an awesome straightforward place to get salvage parts from! I will be coming back and referring friends/family here.

The Greater Lansing area misses the Mason location. The Pontiac, MI yard is all set organized upon old blacktop and sectioned off brand by make and model. However, it is difficult when part is available and shown online and not available or to be expecting to be still available. Use best judgment and fitment tables (
) for proper or close match replacement parts at a bargain! Call ahead to make sure the part is still available and bring tools and lots of water on a hot day as it is a vast concrete desert filled with ovens! (Cars in sun) Highly Recommended! A+ Oct 02, 2025 -
If your a gear head or just someone trying to fix your daily driver affordable this place is like a playground for you. I watch the website inventory and get text alerts for the vehicles I am interested in. Very easy to find what I need and I really enjoy removing it myself or choosing between several options. The prices will blow you away, you can really keep a car running on the cheap with a little DIY ambition!!

I have been here on many occasions and I have yet to find any reason not to come back. The ladies at the front are knowledgeable and nice. You asked for a printout of what car you are there for and they give you aisle numbers and row numbers to direct you right to the car that you are looking to buy parts for. They got wheelbarrow carts and they got a self service tire machine. Overall, it's a great place to go look for a used part. And they offer warranties which I've dealt with a lot of other junk yards that don't do that..

First time customer and I had a good experience. Friendly staff, tons of inventory, and reasonable prices. Recommended if you're looking for quality used car parts.

Always great service and their prices are very good! If you don’t mind getting your hands dirty to remove your own parts then this is the place to go. Check their website to make sure they have the vehicle you need parts for in stock before going there!
1- check website for vehicle
2- bring your own tools, something to drink, and I like to bring a small moving blanket if I have to lay down and get under the car. Dress appropriately!
3- go there, sign in and I think it’s $2 to go in the yard.
4- they have big wheelbarrows and carts for you to use if needed.
5- find the row your vehicle is in, remove the parts you need.
6- go back inside and pay for your parts. They have a price list on their website so you can see in advance what your cost will be.
7- it is a bit of a treasure hunt, there’s no guarantee that the part you need is still going to be there when you show up.
I’ve been here several times and have always had a great experience. Good luck!Aug 04, 2025 -
Good yard and people working here are nice. Website is easy to navigate to find cars and other information. However, it seems like cars don't rotate often, could be pro or con depending on how you see it, which leads to a lot of parts on the ground where people have been. In some areas there is like a foot of space between rear bumpers which makes it hard to work on the rear. There is plenty of parking, but it seems like you wouldn't want to park past the building or your car might get taken!

Huge selection of cars that are in fantastic condition.
Inventory is rotated in a timely manner.
If you don't find your part on the day of you visit.
Check back in a week or two for a hole new selection of vehicles to chose from.
Myself with my son are always working on something we visit upull on average once a week and have never been disappointed.
Super fair prices.
Is my advice check the place out.Apr 08, 2025 -
I was able to find the 1 part I needed for my sis. Her radio went out and they had 1. I installed it and she has her radio sounds back! The last 2 pic’s are the installation! I love this place!

Have picked / purchased a lot of parts from here. Radiators, transmissions, transfer cases, alternators, power steering pumps, intakes, body parts, suspension parts, interior parts…anything needed. It is well organized and inventory turns over quickly so there’s always new stuff whenever I go. I’m usually able to find exactly what I need, at reasonable prices. I love being able to remove what I need and get the required fasteners with it. Carts, wheelbarrows, and hoists are available for customer use, but often not in the best of shape so it can be a workout sometimes! Being open 7 days a week is a real convenience too. I highly recommend for you do-it-yourself mechanics out there.
