Every interaction with Sprague's this far has been awesome. Seeing what new parts are going for, whenever a good used one will suffice I recommend you go here first. I got 4 like new brand name tires for 1/3 of what a cheap new tire sells for. The mature fella in the office treats you right, he even lent me a tool to install the parts!!

Wow I have never. I called to see if they had a part available for a jeep liberty was told to have my husband or mechanic call back to talk to the man. Not married and I’m my own mechanic, for some reason they have a problem with women working on their own cars. Wouldn’t recommend for women to go here.

Not only do they have a great selection of cars/parts most of them are decent mechanics who might be able to help you k ow what part you need if you ask. Tom has saved me from myself many times.
Always the best choice to go and get any used parts for literally any make and model vehicle. I've frequented their tire department more than I would like to admit always last minute but it didn't matter their inventory always had the tire(s) I needed. Just found out today o'clock that they have 3-ton jacks you can use upfront in case you forgot to bring yours or the one you had wasn't designed for an SUV. You're always welcomed as soon as you walk through the door and you can't beat their prices. Doing the work yourself is a brilliant idea, thank whoever you are for making that a thing because if it wasn't like that I'd have to pay $30.⁰⁰+ for a mount and balance. $12 for a mount, balance, and tire disposal you'd be stupid to go anywhere else.
New to the area and luckily found this gem thru Google. I admit my expectations were low considering my experience with Florida used auto parts yards, but both times I went to Sprague's I found like new parts for pennies on the dollar. Tom and the rest of the crew went far above and beyond to help keep my vehicle on the road, and will not hesitate to return for anything I will need.
Great selection of used tires, and got a like new battery for 10% the cost a new one.
Do yourselves a favor and stop by when you need anything.

Friendly and affordable... Usually have what I'm looking for. If not will tell you where you might find it. I would definitely recommend c them out if you need a part.
Never been impressed with sprags since I moved in Muskegon and I had called asked about my pickup truck and then called 3 weeks later and was going to sell them it and somehow the price dropped a whole $100 and I asked him how and he said that the price of metal went down but Pat knows will give me $190 gross ton and that's two and a half ton truck so that is 450 or a little bit more shame on you guys
Sold them a car for 275 agreed upon price and price on reciept, they then took 50 back from my wife while i was at work without notifying me on the price change after car was loaded up. Called the number to see what that was about and they were incredibly rude and proceeded to cuss me out over the phone. 10/10 will take all my used tire and part business elsewhere from now on.
Not a bad place for parts there parts are usually broken or in bad condition very bad customer service and employees are grim there return policy sucks I paid for something and can’t even get the money back or a trade for any parts jerry is very stuck up and ignorant other than that not a bad place but certainly not good don’t waste your time.
Absolutely love it here I’ve been coming here with my dad since I was a kid, sitting in the parking lot waiting for the day I could go in, now anytime I need a part this is the first place I go, they have almost any and every vehicle you could think of and they are so generous with their prices! They also sell tires and mount your tires on your rims & balance them which has saved me so many times! Will always suggest Spragues!
I like it, they don’t make you feel stupid for not knowing what the process is, which was good because I didn’t have a clue. Nice people, prices are good, some things are better deals elsewhere, but for the most part a good place to start.
They were very rude when I contacted them about rails for my Jeep. Definitely won't ever use them for any parts I may need. Randy's Auto Salvage on Wolf Lake road is the best!
During my recent visit to Sprague's Junk Yard, I was pleasantly surprised by the overall positive experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing assistance without judgment. The pricing was reasonable, allowing me to find the necessary car parts without draining my wallet. The yard had an impressive inventory, offering a wide variety of options to choose from. Despite the yard's slightly unkempt appearance, I still highly recommend Sprague's for their knowledgeable staff, fair prices, and diverse selection of parts. Overall, Sprague's Junk Yard provided a surprisingly pleasant experience.
First time going after hearing from a few other junkyards it’s worth a trip. Came from Lansing, to check it out. Everyone was helpful, prices were great. Very nice yard; it was a pleasure doing business and it’s nice to help out these smaller yards that don’t get as much traffic. Will be back to get more parts.
I recently had to relocate and had no place to store my vehicle we were 'working on' whenever we could.I had to take it someplace and needed the cash and taking it to Sprague's I got $350 for it. That's better than nothing and I didn't have time to list it for sale.
I have always loved being able to go pull my own parts and if you ask you get an answer. Simple. We need more places that let you get your own parts off of salvaged vehicles
They have a good variety of makes, and models to source parts of in the wrecking for mainly late model vehicles. Best of all you can walk the yard to remove your own part or pay extra to have there employees take the parts off for you!
Update: I went in and guess they tried calling me, but call wouldn't go thru or something like that. Next time I'll just have someone go in and get said last for me instead is all. I've heard lots of good things and know MANY who use them so I'll give em another chance too.
I won't use them again. Paid for a part to be taken off at 831am and here it is going on 4pm and no part yet. NEVER again, I understand being busy but cmon.....it's paid for already I should be near the top of the list. Smdh

The dude charged me $75 for a windshield. I didn't wanna argue with it because I already put in all the work to get it, but I could've gone down to weller and gotten one for $25.
We wanted to get rid of our old truck and it needed to be towed because it was no longer drivable and so we called Sprague's. Matt was courteous, knowledgeable and made the transaction easy from start to finish.
This place was great if your handy with tools. They had the parts I needed a small selection of tools for me to use and in the price range I could afford. The indoor staff was super helpful and kind. And the guys in the yard were guick to give a helping hand if I needed it. I hit a deer and 50 bucks and 3 hours later my car looks like new. Thanks Spragues
