I recently purchased a new vehicle and traded in my 08 grand cherokee to help with the down-payment. Originally, I was told by the mechanic that my vehicle was not worth more than $1,000 due to mechanic issues being worth too much to fix given the age and current milage so we settled at $700 as he told me it would be parted out. Little over a month later, I see my jeep in the lot for sale at around $4,700 which seems odd given how it wasn't worth anything. So that rightfully upset me as I feel like I've been scammed. Besides lying to me about my vehicles worth seeing how it's presumably been fixed and safe again and worth now 4 times more than the mechanic said, my overall experience was good and everything was explained very well during the purchase process.

I am beyond happy with the Lexus RX350 I purchased from Laird. I had been looking for quite some time for a Lexus due to the reliability and comfort they are known for. I found one on-line at Laird and called right away. Fortunately it was still available. I did have a dash light come on a few weeks after purchase and the service department got my car in right away and took care of the problem. I highly recommend them as I found a quality vehicle at a fantastic price!

We couldn't be happier with our new truck! April was so easy to work with and John in service was really helpful with my questions. I will definitely be back for my 1st oil change!

I left my car here to fix some oil leaks they did that service for me. After that I was told when they turned my car on after said fixes coolant started spraying every where and a bearing needs replaced after hearing that I’m a bit irritated but it’s whatever i asked the person on the phone if it’s worth getting fixed or should i just get a new car they told me the fixes are worth it. after a few days im able to pick up my car which was there for almost 2 full weeks with only 2 phone calls being made to me before the pick up call, but it’s okay it’s fixed now I’ll go get it. So my girlfriend and I ( who is the owners great niece) go and pick up my car which cost about 1.6k for everything over 1.3k in just labor. I drive it home and get gas it starts up weird which they were supposed to have fixed the time I left my car there before,I don’t think much of it and just put it in my mind that if it happens again I will call. This is the day I get my car back keep in mind. The next day I drive my girlfriend and I to dinner and get gas after, the starting up weird happens once again so my girlfriend calls them fairly irritated. On the way home from dinner I’m on the freeway going 70 plus and going through hilly terrain luckily there was a red light I had to stop for and was slowing down completely and my engine turned off my wheels locked and car broke down I leave them a voicemail that was not a nice one seeing as me and my girlfriend once again the owners niece were about 30 seconds away from being in a fatal crash at high speeds. I find out the reason my car did that was because my radiator cap had not been properly screwed in by one of their mechanics. The next day my girlfriend and I bring my car there and the owner is there we come in with very different kind demeanor than our voicemails but as soon as we walk in my girlfriends great uncle the owner is very rude essentially yelling at us that we aren’t mechanics and don’t know the problem. After his business almost got me and my girlfriend in an accident. after almost potentially getting killed he expected me to be nice after being told by my girlfriends dad and her grandpa my radiator cap was not tightened correctly. All in all just a shady business that does not care for quality labor but expects you to pay like it is quality. And what gets me about all of this is I know if this was my girlfriends grandma the owners sisters and my girlfriends grandpa in the car when this happened I know for a fact the owner would’ve had a completely different behavior and actually gotten on the people’s backs he needs to get on. This place is playing a dangerous game with peoples cars and are gonna feel the consequences of that eventually. Could’ve easily had 2 dead or severely injured teenagers on their hands one of which a member of their family and they wouldn’t have even noticed. As well as deciding to still yell at us when we came in. :( (also just got my vehicles back turns out that put a faulty piece in my car and wouldn’t admit to the radiator in fact tried saying they never changed the radiator cap which I never said just said they didn’t loosen it after working on it) thanks for looking for fixing for free just praying this labor is of better quality than the last 2 times. They just shady and not getting me or my girlfriends business.

They use Best Financial Credit Union. Use the credit union not the dealer. Roof poured water in, headlight wiggles, tranny is slipping and shufting hard and now my door won't latch. Gonna talk to a lawyer about it. First payment is still a week away.

Man I bought a few things from these guys motors and transmissions! I bought a motor from them took me a little over 30 due to financial problems. And now they won’t refund my 100 dollar core, I been coming there for years and no longer will. I figured a small business would love longtime customers

Don't ever have them do any mechanical work! They put parts on you're vehicle that you're vehicle doesn't need! I would never recommend them to anyone!

We had a purchase agreement at the bank, and the man that created it from Lairds said he would hold the sale until we got back to him. While at the bank drawing up the loan to get the check (that same day), the man calls to tell my husband that the truck was sold to a cash buyer for $500 more than what was written on our purchase agreement. What is this world coming to when you can't trust someone at their word? Why would it have been so bad to have a lifetime customer over an extra $500 now. Now this company's business decision has cost them a loyal customer as well as the impact of my bad word of mouth for anyone looking to buy a used vehicle. So frustrating, I thought a purchase agreement was binding? Lucky for them we've decided that bringing the matter to our lawyer is not worth the time or money to pursue. I was skeptical to go to them in the first place, but the truck they offered seemed like a good deal. Furthermore, My husband talked me into it because his grandfather used to go through them faithfully throughout the years. We will never do business with them for this conduct.

Absolute con artists. I have to revise my other review. Not only did they sell me a car with my ABS hooked up backwards last year and I had to get that fixed because the mechanics couldn’t see that issue. Also the ac compressor was falling apart and they never said anything about that. They sold me a car that has had the trans gone through and had never mentioned a single thing to me because once again they never checked (which one of them admitted to on the phone) and now I am having issues with the trans. They have no idea what they are doing go somewhere else. Edit: if it wasn’t for the as is warranty I would be suing them. My trans is bad and the whole rear end is so rusted out the repair shop I took it to doesn’t even think it’s worth fixing.

This business was recommended by an associate to my wife and she was quite happy with the service she received. I took my truck there for an oil change and brake job. I was very satisfied with the work performed and the pricing. Staff was very friendly, detail oriented and work was performed on a timely basis. Good place, good prices and good people.

Had to take my Nissan Pathfinder to a different shop after buying it because they failed to check the front end out. My estimate is$1551.84. they said they don't do alinements because they can't afford the machine. I bought this on a snowy day and couldn't feel the pull until the roads cleared off. GEE THANKS FOR YOUR HELP. NEVER again.

I would really like to recommend this place, but after thinking about it for a few weeks, I can't. I purchased a 2010 Ford Flex from Laird a few weeks back. The transaction went super smooth, and the guys were extremely friendly the whole time. However, when I asked the salesman about work that had been done to the car, he told me that the sway links were replaced when they got the car. Which is great, considering they are a service shop. I then asked them for a CarFax on the vehicle, and the salesman told me that they "do not run carfax reports because they do not show anything useful". I asked him again about any known issues with the car, to which he told me the headlights were replaced, or something minor. After purchasing the car, a few days into it I started feeling a weird shudder in the transmission. I contacted Laird and told them what was going on, and they offered to take a look at the car, which was super awesome of them to do. Unfortunately, they told me they could not replicate the issue. That night I decided I would run a CarFax out of curiosity. Maybe there was an accident or fender bender that misaligned something that Laird forgot about or the salesman didn't know about it. Well, it turns out that since Laird owned the car, they had done a bunch of transmission work, replaced the transmission and a few various things, and completely omitted it, after asking twice about issues and asking for a CarFax. Interestingly enough, I find out that they reported the repairs to CarFax themselves. I asked the salesman about the transmission the next day, to which he replied that yes, that had replaced it because it was having issues shifting into reverse (after knowingly omitting it during the entire process, despite my asking). It just bums me out that I asked twice and had to run a CarFax/ have tangible proof before they came clean about work done to the car, even tho they were the ones who reported the work to CarFax. I asked the salesman if he knew how many miles were on the used transmission that they put in, and he said he had no record of that and didn't know at all, which struck me as odd, considering they pride themselves in their service garage. It was really bizarre that they put in a used transmission and had no clue how many miles were on it. Fast forward to today, I took the car to a local transmission shop, and within an hour they had it hooked up to OBD and Forescan, and diagnosed a faulty torque converter in the transmission. I now have to pay to have the transmission taken out, and the torque converter replaced. Bottom Line: There was a lot of good in my experience with Laird, but them knowingly omitting really important information, then admitting to knowing after I had purchased the car, coupled with the fact that they could not diagnose the issue they created, even tho they pride themselves in their service, it just doesn't make sense to me to recommend these guys. The process has it's pros, but they deceived me and it just sucks that I have to go through all this, when they could have just been honest up front.

Great Service!!! It is nice to have a place where you know you will be treated fairly. My Jeep had a bad leak that started recently. I called John and set up an appointment. I met Jeff when I arrived and someone took the keys right away. Of course the bolts on the skid plate was rusty and the job took extra effort. They also fixed a vent actuator in the same visit and my total price was very fair. Kudos to the staff and I will be back soon for new shocks.

What an AMAZING place! I mean come on now they have it ALL out here, tons of used parts, they do fantastic work, on most any vehicle, not to mention they have GREAT prices on there Pre owned vehicles, where else are you going to be able to get all this in one place?? All the people out here are wonderful, its like a big family, there is a reason that almost everyone out here has worked her for MANY years, and when you look at things like having your oil changed its like you've gone back in time with these prices! They even have a nice little waiting area if your vehicle is only going to take short time to fix. Give these guys a shout, I have been using them for years!
