The Ranch has been in my family since 1934 when my dad became a member. 2 of my brothers, my daughter, my 2 nieces, have all been or presently members. Great get-a-way, alot of amenities, fantastic people, it don't get no better.
One of the last, great wildernesses in the Eastern United States. More than ten thousand acres of wild lands, home to hundreds of wild elk, deer, and turkeys, numerous black bear, bald eagles, bobcats, badgers, beaver, porcupines, and lakes teaming with fish. Real, stunningly beautiful, pure and original Michigan.
Lots of nature here. The deer are very friendly and you're guaranteed to see them all over. Hopefully you'll get lucky and see some elk and other animals. Quiet and friendly neighbors. A nice lake and lots of stuff to do!
If you like an outdoor experience and nature, this is the place for you. We've had a great time all three times we've been there.
The deer are everywhere, elk in the Outback area, the rooms are clean, they have great food, and the customer service is courteous, respectful, and friendly.
One recommendation is to call ahead to make sure the restaurant is open. If it's not, there are some good local restaurants nearby.
This is a membership only hunting ranch. You must be a member to visit here or be with a member who sponsors you. There are private cabins and some to rent plus rooms to rent at the ranch house. There is also a campground for campers or tents. There is a bathhouse with showers and laundry facilities and there are security guards who do regular checks.
I love it here, especially in the winter. This area is amazing for biking, walking, jogging ext. Very nice staff at the ranch house. Very very nice lakes for fishing, kayaking, swimming ext.
Canada Creek Ranch is a hidden treasure! The rental cabins are very nicely decorated with little touches that make it feel like home away from home. The staff maintains everything here nicely! The lakes are beautiful, the grounds well kept and the deer are so used to people, i swear they are friendly. There is definitely no shortage of nature and quality outdoors activities. Well worth the drive and money.
This place is the best place in all of Michigan. I have came here since I was a child. Many of my favorite memories were here. Go check out the rye fields if you wanna see some elk this summer
Great outdoor activities hunting fishing recreational things to do great staff and nice cabin nice rifle range archery rang trap and skeet beach five lakes all around great place to spend time with family and friends
This is a private club with thousands of acres of backwoods elk country. The restaurant at this facility has a fantastic Sunday brunch for $7.99, and items on the menu like filet mignon and whitefish all at a reasonable price. The lodging facility for guests is also very nice.
