I leave on the west side of the state not far from are lovely Lake Michigan , and when I was needing fuel in Atlanta,MI.The Elk Capital on Michigan ,I couldn’t help to notice the great fuel prices and deals on foods. Thank you Freddie’s!
Literally turn your heat up, I would NEVER expect my employees to be that freezing while working, 30 mins in and I can’t even feel my fingers. Tells me a lot about the condition of this place. Yay I saved .75 on faygo though! ?♀️?
Always great deals on everything. Go in for just a little bit and come out with a cart full of great deals. Go early in the morning. Opens up at 05:00 a.m., no crowd to have in your way. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful.
This is a great place for all your grocery needs! The store is always quite busy, employees are both friendly & helpful! Theres always a nice selection of fresh vegetables and cut meats!! Be sure to check the sales paper, as they’re always running some really good deals!! They also have a walk-in beer cooler, if that’s your thing!! I highly recommend this store!
Don’t forget your suet cakes for the birds… ONLY $1.00 each!!! ???????????

The customer service from the cashiers,stockers and the meat cutters are second to none. I have never seen nicer more friendly staff than at Freddies
I love shopping at the store when you're a single mom and you need to make your dollar stretch. This is a great place to go. I find the employees super friendly and the managers are also very nice. Just an overall great store to go to. I definitely make the hour trip there just to do my shopping
A little crowded, aisles are narrow. There was some good deals, but somethings were over priced. So if you know your prices you won't get sucked in. Parking lot is on the small side.
Gas and supermarket, always crazy deals going on last week was 10-cent hotdog packs no limit (50 packs of 8 for $5) I believe it was Oscar Meyer 8 pack.
As a new citizen of Atlanta, Freddie's is a very welcome place. The staff are friendly and helpful, the prices are exactly what we need at this time. They will definitely be our weekly shopping place, and it makes me feel great living here now.
Everybody thinks they are getting deals on meat. I don't think so. Not when 4 chicken breasts cost over $11.00 or a 10 lbs bag for over $40.00. The place looks filthy. Not much room for people to pass each other in the isle's. Very crapped. It's like going to a, " Black Friday " shopping event in New York's business district. And I found that the prices on regular food and vegetables are marked higher than other stores. Probably to balance the cost of meats.
Although, the people ( staff ) are very helpful, polite, and kind-hearted.
Ps. Don't take your pets ( unless you have to ) in the summer time. The parking lot is very HOT. Even with the windows partly down.
This place is awesome if u never been u need to check it out prices so good and affordable its hard to not go to it i went there and it is a bit of a drive from me but well worth it
They have a lot of for sale items that are pretty good, but- there are also a lot of items that are not on sale but big splashy signs making it look like they are. Don’t get too excited being in this store and spend too much.
Some things in the store are average a dollar less than other stores (when they’re on sale ), but when they are not on sale - they’re about a dollar more.
I took away a star because for me, it’s an hour drive away. So calling ahead to be sure they still have something in stock (after arriving once to find they were out) the person answering didn’t have to act as if it was SO inconvenient to check. I did make sure to only call during their slow time- according to the app.
You know how much they had to put into Showing their attitude Over The Phone for me to get that, right?
Yeah, because I was Just SO happy to drive for an hour and find that one of the main reasons I came was sold out.
It happens. I understand that. I’m also capable of calling to make sure before coming again.
I should add that when there in person, the staff are very helpful even though it may be busy.
Maybe take the phone away from whoever has been answering- since they don’t want to be bothered.
Your meat cutter did such a great job cutting our ribeye loin. We picked out a loin and he told us he could get a better cut in the back room. He brought it out, what a beautiful loin. He cut them prfuctly. This is one reason we love to go to Freddies when we are in town. Thank you meat department and Freddies.

It's definitely worth the beautiful 2 hour drive down...I bring a cooler for meats. ?
I can see why so many people out of the area come here to shop. fabulous prices on everything especially when their meat goes on sale and it is very high quality. Their produce department was exceptional.
They have a nice walk in beer cave. Though I was a bit concerned about all the close dated and outdated beer. The Blatz 24 pack cans were expired and it was on sale. The 24 pack bottles of Blatz was close dated. And the 30 packs of Busch Light Peach, while although they were $9.99, they all expired in December of 2024. I wouldn't even buy outdated beer if it were free. Freshness does matter with beer. Aside from the beer cave, everything else was pretty good.
The place was crazy busy and its wasn't hard to see why!! I've not seen prices like that in a long time. Thank you Freddie's Family Market, this haul will go a long way and only spent 78 dollars. Just Amazing!! Just a few of the crazy deals I saw! 12 pack of hot pockets. 10.99, bacon and sausage all kinds 99 cents and if you had their coupon app, some of those prices dropped to 69 cents each. I'm telling you people, wth!!!! Nuts!!! I will not be unprepared next time!!! Ham just see the price for yourself! Some customers seemed bothered it was busy, but what do you expect, everywhere and I mean everywhere had a deal, OF COURSE ITS BUSY! Just be respectful of others and all will work out! One employee seemed a little rushed, but yeah look around. All customers, new and returning in my line were great, as the cashier. I will be back! I will bring others back! One more time thank you!
This is the best place ever. Twice a year I drive 4 hours just to experience these deals. 50 for strawberry’s!!!! 50 cent for a bottle of bbq sauce!!! That is outrageous. I love this store and hope everyone goes to experience it. ?
