We got a lot of cheap stuff in there.They got named brand stuff at low price.Put it that way. We ruined the counter something and ended up buying other items.
Love visiting Ollies, especially this location. I've been to a few locations but I love the options they have at this location and always fully stocked on pretty much everything I'm looking for.
They have a rotating selection of items. You just have to know what type of items you are looking for. I love their Bibles, healthy snacks & better for you shampoo, etc depending on their availability. Love to see what they have, like hunting for treasure!
Happy Holidays!! You can definitely tell it's the holiday season... Busy...Busy...Busy.. But, easy to navigate through... The associates were friendly and professional. Ollie's always has what I'm looking for...and then some. Good Stuff Cheap!
Store has great finds, kinda messy but fun to wander around. Cashier James was so helpful. Even waited while I searched for my email. Bagged everything so nice and was so patient. Thanks!
Great stuff and great prices! I went in to grab something for work and left with a lot more than I intended. They have great holiday decor. I also really like their houseware items. They have great name brand items also. I've gotten cute pyrex bowls for lunch and otter box chargers. Their selection of kids books is pretty good too. The employees have always been kind and helpful. I only misused a star because it's a bit cluttered and hard to maneuver because there's just so much stuff.
Great place to find last minute gifts, has an extensive craft section, besides the seasoning aisle, and household items, small appliances. I could go on and on. If you haven't visited Ollie's in awhile or ever, What are you waiting for?
Big and better organized than a Big Lots. Various departments, food to furniture, big book section. Seems like a good place to gift shop. Prices seem good. Offers discounts when you sign up for free shoppers card. Quick and easy to do. Every staff member that we passed smiled.
I went to the Ollie's in Roseville on 9/15/25 and I got italianized by employee and I got lied on by employee a white girl that wore glasses she wouldn't wait on me I guess because I was a African-American I would never shop at the store no more I don't think they care for black people I was a loyal customer there but I will never ever shop there again and I guess all you black people stop shopping there they don't like black people and I had to learn that the hard way they will never get another dollar of mines and you think the company tried to reach out to me no they didn't even though I got racial profiled by one of their employees so black people stop shopping there cuz they don't care for black people
I give them a low rating because my grandmother shops there all the time spending hundreds at a time and she's very old she needed to use the bathroom and they said there was no more bathroom for customers and that she needs to go next door to pet smart that was terrible and they said it was corporate rules which I said they could at least make exceptions for older people will not shop here anymore. And she still spent 200$ this day
We walked in ten minutes before closing, the manager was aggressive in telling us that the closes soon and then asking if he could direct us somewhere. I understand store hours, it wasn't closed yet, if you aren't willing to receive customers or you don't want the business it's very simple, lock the door. Funny enough, a woman walked it after we checked out when the store was actually closed and the manager didn't say a word. I guess it's easier to pick on a mom with kids. All I can say is do better and be kind!
While standing in line to get a few items today, which i normally enjoy my time and love the deals here, well today was different i watched an employee cuse and go off on another employee in front of many customers, me including. Hopefully that worker will no longer be working at this location. If so i am not 100% sure about supporting a business that employees people who just are not sure how to be professional.
I used to like this location a lot but maybe they got new management and employees. Not a fan of either so far. So different now. And I even picked up on some racial profiling but we won't go there lol. Had a full cart but went to browse the books which is toward the entrance for my 5 year old who was with me and my mom, and 2-3 employees started using code language and stood by the main entrance doors. Lol. Cmon now. I guess do your book shopping first thing or theyll follow you throughout your shopping trip. And to make things even more awkward, there were 5 employees at the register. We had an item fall out of our cart, I personally didnt know my mom added it to the cart, but im assuming the manager thought we were gonna steal that too. Lol. We were dressed nicely, well kept, this came down to skin color and taking too long to shop i guess. Ill just go to a different location. The prices are cheap but not drastic, maybe $1 or $2 from general groceries and goods stores.
I went into this location yesterday and when I went to check out there were 2 employees standing at the front of the checkout laughing and talking while one employee checked out another customer. Once she was done with that customer she walked over and joined in the conversation with the other 2 employees while I stood there in line waiting. I’m very sure she (and the other 2) knew I was there when she looked me square in the face as she proceeded to walk over to the other 2 workers to laugh and have a meaningless conversation. She eventually said “oh I can help you at my register “ as she proceeded to walk back to her register. She kept insincerely apologizing and saying she wasn’t used to people actually standing in line until they were called to be checked out. This is only the second time I’ve been there but if this is the standard for getting discounted items I would prefer to pay full price with a side of great customer service.
Great spot for general items that are needed from laundry detergent to clothing items. And for those who are comic enthusiast, They have a great graphic novel selection. As well as popular novels and books. And there's a military special on Tuesdays
Always a good place to go for amazing prices for quality items.. my only complaint is EVERYTIME I shop here (2-3x a month) the LINE is beyond ridiculous. I know there’s more than one employee so why is there only one employee at the register. I watch these poor under paid girls struggle and other in line huff and puff and stress out the staff it’s not fair. Other than that… I love this place but I don’t agree how the workers are treated.
UPDATE: Did find a Ninja 12" grill pan there for $15 that was no less than $50 elsewhere. Snapped some photos this time. UPDATE END. Nothing but stuff you can find cheaper online with free shipping. Refurbished prices are no good as well. Bought a Motor Trend car charger adapter for $4 cuz I needed it ATM.
It's a cool store , I love to Bargain hunt but not really a lot of " Bargains" some things are priced decently others just way to high. Still worth going to because you never know what you may find .
Wonderful store. This is the best Ollie's I've been in. They're well stocked and they change items regularly.
The staff is friendly and helpful and of course the prices are the best part of the store. Unfortunately I had to remove a star because seldom do they have more than two registers open. Considering how busy this store is, that definitely needs improvement.
I don't know what's going on here, but I love it. It's like Home Goods + K-mart + Tchotchkes(×2). It's a bit of an overwhelming mess, but fun to discover some weird and cheap surprise down every aisle. I walked in curious, walked out $60 lighter in the wallet. But maybe leave the shopping list at home on your first visit, because they're doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the layout or items sold. It's random and interesting and I'll definitely be back.
