I have been to almost every transfer station in Michigan and I can honestly say this is by far the best one i have ever been too. Super clean, fast, fair prices, and easy to empty out, Plus they are a metal yard as well. Best of both worlds!

If you don’t take the materials and your in that type of business help with information don’t be sarcastic!
I called today to see if we could dump some remodeling debris. The gal on the phone was accommodating and cheerful letting us know there was plenty of "flat" space to dump. I mentioned to her that I didn't have a 4X4 truck to tow my trailer up a landfill.
The place was easy to find. The parking lot out front was easy to park in with a trailer in tow. Just inside the door a polite gentleman instructed us on their procedures.
Once through the building and off the scales we were directed by staff out back where to reverse into and dump. There was plenty of space to navigate the maneuver.
Just like she said on the phone: all flat. We dumped onto the concrete slab where instructed, broomed out trailer, and back through the building over the scales.
The man inside was just as polite as before. Their rates were spot on and the facility was as tidy as a place in the industry can be.
We had a pleasant experience there and will be back! Thank you Deerfield Disposal!
We had a dumpster for home renovation project. The young man who came and picked up the dumpster did his best to repair the divot that was made when hauling the dumpster out when he could’ve just drove away. It is much appreciated!
Easy enough in and out service! But maam if you dont want to be there ... please do your customers a favor and stay home. What i witnesssed Saturday was and is a bad look for you/r company. Constanly talking/complaining and saying you hate feeling behind and we are not supposex to be open, be quiet and do your job would expidite the busy situation much better than compalaing to custoners the whole time. Yeah other than that.
Constantly isn't picking up our garbage because the garbage can isn't facing the right way?? How ridiculous. People pay to do it. Heavy objects I can see but just because the garbage can isn't facing the road? Give me a break.Get out the truck and move it. Simple as that.

We make many trips a week to Deerfield Disposal. The crew in the back is top notch. They are always friendly and extremely helpful with directing traffic & helping unload items. The front desk staff always takes good care of us and answers any questions we have. As a business owner I appreciate how efficient they are as well. They work to get us in and out quickly.
Very clean for a scrapyard. I always bring in stuff that is a pain to unload (very good fork drivers, unlike other places ) and it is never a problem. Super friendly staff, that are also curtious of your equipment . Easy to do buisness with.
I needed to weigh my moving truck, something I have never done before. The front office staff walked me through the procedure and were very courteous. I weighed the truck twice, and had a very hard time turning my truck around with my car in tow. But there was a man in the backyard that patiently helped me both times. They eased an otherwise uncomfortable ordeal. Thank you!
Company got bought out by Waste Management and now it's terrible. Big Corporations are ruining this country. Call Rick or Paul Rhein instead. Don't do business with WM.
Wow. If I could give no stars... Terrible company. Very rude woman in the office. Worst customer service ever. This company is stuck in 1950's. Very inconvenient to pay your bill. Hit & miss if they actually pick up on your scheduled day. When they did actually pick up, they beat our garbage can to death (purchased brand new). Never again & absolutely would not recommend
I've been forced to go here through different employers for the last 10 years. Mark the owner is a decent guy but pretty much every single women at the counter is rude and mean to put it in a nice. That's all.
If customer service was required they probably wouldn't be in business. Don't expect anything special or to be talked to with any type of respect. Get in and get out if you need to dump or scrap.
The first place I call when I need a dumpster. I use dumpsters frequently with my business. I only wish they'd expand their service area, too often I'm working outside of it and am forced to call another company, and that often comes with problems. Deerfield drivers always put the can where I need it when I need it and they have timely pickup.
Brought in 2 catalytic converters And they wouldn't even check the serial numbers. Just insisted on giving me $25 a piece.I have since sold the converters for 150 a piece. This place rip people off. Don't go here. The blonde lady is rude as could be

They were on time. Least expensive in the area. $300 compared to $600 for 10 yard. Plenty large enough for whole roof 22 square and more. Great job. Thank will. Will use again if we ever need
Excellent office staff. Truly good hearted owners. They have to put up with a lot and they handle it like pros.
I've been renovating houses which means a lot of gutting and cleaning out which means either me or one of my crew does a Deerfield run regularly since I started 2 years ago. I actually volunteer to do the Deerfield runs when I can because I enjoy saying hi to the staff. They actually care about the people they serve. Be nice to them! They're doing a very, very tough job!!
Never had any issues with garbage pickup.
Unfortunately, the woman who answered the phone when I called is my reason for leaving.
Terrible customer service. I called to ask a question about a charge on my bill. She seemed very annoyed, like I was inconveniencing her. She spoke to me in a demeaning tone, would talk over me, and interrupt whenever I tried to speak.
At one point, I asked her, “why are you getting so excited?”
Eventually, I lost my temper. Which I do regret, but I’d rather drive my trash to a waste management facility the rest of my life, then ever deal with her again. It makes me wonder, if she’s the owner, or family to the owner. As I can not see any other reason as how this woman maintains a job the way she speaks to people. Horrible representation of a company.
Awesome experience w/ Bonnie and Deerfield Disposal , rented a 15 yard dumpster , had to keep a lot longer then we all planned and she was wonderful to deal with! love to see businesses w/ such great customer service!
1st time leasing a dumpster. Wonderful experience. Deerfield disposal did everything they said they would do. Arrived on time, courteous , helpful, they even called to b sure I was done. I would not hesitate to use again.
Horrible service!!!! I ordered a 30yrd dumpster and it was picked up a day early, still had tear off to do!! They stated there was nothing they could do. Do not use these guys very rude people and very poor service!! Call 1-800-Rolloff never had an issue and have enough cans for the demand!!
The "older" blonde lady was very cheerful and helpful during my first visit to the recycling center. There are a number of bins and only specific materials are allowed in each one. Her explanation was accurate and clear regarding what was acceptable to recycle and what was not. Thanks for providing a service that is disappearing in many areas.
The old blonde lady that works the front desk is extremely rude!!! She acts as if she is doing you the greatest favor by even speaking to you. If you ask a legitimate question she speaks to you in a very condescending way. The young girl working the front desk is nice though. The staff out in the yard was nice and helpful. The old blond lady made the whole experience an awful one. Don’t go there if you don’t have to. Their rules aren’t posted anywhere so if you do something that the old blonde lady doesn’t like you will get berated for it. She should be fired immediately. This isn’t the first time she has had an attitude. Almost every time I go there she’s belittling someone. I only endure it because it’s close. Go somewhere else if you can. It’s not worth dealing with her attitude to go there!
Biggest bunch of morons ever who dont appreciate the buisness they get. I was told the wrong day for pick up. Trash set out all day. I called and was told they would be by to pick it up that day. They never showed. Had to load my trash back up and take back to house.Knowing that if it was left out that animals would get into it. I called again and was told to put all my trash out the next week on Wednesday. They didn't show again ! I called and was told the day was changed again without notice. And they did nothing to fix it just told me to leave it out. I said are your guys gonna pick it up when it's all over the road from animals ?? I can ask but they don't usually do what they're told. And that is the owner speaking. Really ??? Trash pick up is not that hard people. Save yourself the headache and pick a different provider for trash pick up.
