We unfortunately had a trailer that was rear ended by another driver, and was needing a vendor in the area that offered transload. I called them, gave the photos, an idea on product/weight/case count/and on pallets and verified a cost of 3500 for all. By the end of the transload they hit us with a bill of over 10k! Not only that, but by the end of it they were not able to give us a total count of what they disposed of to provide a update of the load info to customer. Be sure to get everything you can on paper/email BEFORE agreeing to do work with them.
Great experience getting work done on my semi truck at Homrich's, I highly recommend them! I've been here a couple of times for same-day service on short notice and have had excellent, quick service every time. Big thanks to Dan for helping me out on my latest visit!
This Guys Service is AWESOME just got out of work and had a flat unexpectedly a frustrating situation turned out to be a positive encounter. Dan came to my aid and helped me change my flat not only did he help with that he saved me money by helping me plug the tire as well . I don't care where you go you godda have an angelic vibration to do what he just did for me #StanTheMan you don't find guys like this every day . I had my motor home at a tire place and they couldn't remove one of the lug nut extenders on the dualies. I called Homrich, got transferred to Dan, who happened to be driving near the tire place. He popped over abd removed the extender in 5 minutes. No charge. Hard to find that kind of service anymore!
I loaded my car with the wrong fuel with gasoline adding diesel. I went to this workshop and the same day they solved the problem. They went to the gas station for my car and they repaired it. Excellent service I recommend 100% very friendly staff with professional experience in what they do.
Exhaust dropped on my van and had no way to fix it. After an hour of my insurance company calling around for an hour to find someone that could come tow it, Homerich said yes! They called me almost immediately after they hung up with my insurance Co to double check details and was at my vehicle within 30 min!!!! Unfortunately I didn't catch the name of the driver but he not only wired the exhaust back up but also put it back together and made it driveable again! He went above and beyond what I expected. 5 stars and will definitely recommend them!!!!
I called and arranged to meet his mechanic on an after hours call. My icc bumper had been torn off in a wreck he wanted between 800.00 to 1000.00 just to cut my old icc bumper down where one end was bent and weld it back on. We originally agreed on the two hour call out of 600.00. I really believe that either his Hispanic mechanic lied to him or he is trying to get everything he can when someone is in a bind. I'll go somewhere else and never return.
They saved my vacation. Was all loaded up to go camping with the kids and the camper lights weren’t working. Dan managed to do a quick check and was able to fix it in about an hour. It was amazing! They are my new favorite. Quick and the cost was less than an oil change (with synthetic oil).
We had an emergency tire situation with one of our 53ft trailers. They came out and did a great job replacing the tire. We will keep you in our contacts for future reference.
Called about in shop service to replace a Brake Chamber on a trailer. $160.00 an hour 2 hour minimum + 10 or 20 % for shop supplies. So according to the lady it would be $400.00 + parts. Hopefully she was mistaken for a road call, but if not that is true "Highway Robbery"!!!
Homrich's Garage repairs our buses when we have issues with them. The mechanics do a superior job! They go out of their way to help fix things even when we need immediate service. This is a family company who treats customers like family!

unprofessional and with an avoidance personality in dealing with me and other customers I directly talked with. Both are smooth talkers that cannot be trusted.
PLEASE, PLEASE stay away from HOMRICH’S GARAGE in Kalamazoo. I scheduled an appointment on Oct. 12 to look at my e450 shuttle bus it was never look at and sat in the parking lot until Oct. 26 (in which I towed it to a reputable business)… both never initiate a call (very sad).

Had a head pipe leak that needed a weld . Not a part,Dan and his help jumped right on it and fixed me up. Ford V-10 gas class A motor home , 500 miles from home. It’s aggravating , and expensive, but ya know, ya just can’t let it ruin the moment. Really appreciate their help!! Rick Atkinson.
My Dodge Ram was running very badly and being over three hours from home and towing a fifth wheel, I was in need of help. I was given an appointment early the following day, the problem was analyzed very quickly and a repair part found an hour away. They quickly got the part and made the repair. I was underway by 3:00.

Made an appoint for Tuesday at 8 am. No one asked for my name or number. Dropped off my truck the night before. Called first thing in morning and I had to ask them if they want my name and phone number. After not hearing from them at all by Wednesday afternoon nor did it look like the truck was ever moved. We went to go pick up the truck around 3:45 pm and the office door was locked (open 8am - 5pm). After going through the bays finally found an office assistant, whom barely acknowledge us and went to take a phone call. Finally someone came out and basically said they hadn’t looked at it. We got the truck key and left. Definitely seemed they didn’t want our business. Would not recommend as they don’t care about new customers.
Dana called them for a trailer tire repair, since I don't own the trailer. I'm sitting at Speedway in the lot ON PAVEMENT, just West of Kalamazoo, they told Dana an hour......Dana just informed me they backed out after waiting over an hour. It's an easy tire repair easy money too. In a truck parking lot. Dana has over 70 terminals, thousands of tanks..nice for your reputation to back out on a Dana call. They pay the after hours rate too, no NETWORK garages with them. My after hours with Dana are quick to answer,call me,communication is great, spot on any time I have a trailer issue, no matter how late or on weekends!! Homriche's.. Ron Dana has 73 companies, been in business since '72' willing to pay going rate and you back out on a Sunday night early eve?? Nice, that's ok my dispatch will find a company that will do the job you BACKED out on!! If I could give no star i would.
Do not use these guys. Called at 9 for road service , told an hour, at 1040 they called my driver and said another hour. After that hour they never shoved up. We called them and cancelled , but they wanted $275.00. We said we wont pay. They called us bit later and " they where going to slash our tires' and they did. Police is involved now. Do not used them. See other reviews very bad people.
These guys are the biggest rip off in the state of Michigan. My air-dryer broke. They drove 2 miles and bypass the air-dryer with 1 fitting it took 10 minutes. They charged me $391,71
We called them 3 times and e -mailed them once to get our bill they must be so ashamed of themselves we still haven't gotten It. It's been 2 weeks. Now when I got home I took it to the shop to get fixed. New air dryer and 1 hour labor cost $265. So ask yourself who's the biggest rip off in Michigan? HOMRICH'S GARAGE ! The work they did was good and no complaints on cost. They fixed the transmission drive bar. My only issues is response time when they were called after breakdown(not including wait time for prior service call) and dealing with a little rudeness from one of the staff, of which as I was walking back to my semi, he backs up his service vehicle to block me from leaving just to ask if I paid. First off, this same person unblocked my truck the night before. If I wanted to skip out on paying I had a good 12 hours to do so. Second, I already paid the bill as soon as it opened,and he saw me with the receipt stating that it was paid because he was in the garage when I paid it. The rest of the staff was friendly, but the one was kind of rude and went too far out of his way to try to cause tension. I don't know what stereotype or experience he went through, but most of us(I will put it like that) actually believe in paying our bills and don't need to be made to feel like we have to be treated like thugs. Like I said the work was good, most of the staff was friendly, one was pretty rude, he was the night prior and the morning after. Customer relations needs some work, otherwise I would've given this place more than 3 stars
I can't say enough about the service. We broke down in our motorhome and they came to the truck stop in about 30 minutes. It was a Saturday night and we had to wait for parts but they were at our motorhome first thing Monday morning and got us on the road. Family owned and operated.
Done business with them for years, highly recommend these people for all my heavy truck and equipment repairs. Would highly recommend if you need repairs done in southern Michigan!!
I called for road service because my seal broke on axle and oil was leaking. It took them two hours to get to me when I was only 35 minutes away. And when they finished they charge me 1300$ for seal and bearing replacement. For 4 hours of labor. The guy could barely breathe by working. Liars. Just trying to rip you off and take as much money as possible.
