So I had a flat tire one day and I searched the closest auto shop. Thankfully I was just a block away from this one. I told the very kind older gentleman about my flat and he stopped was he was doing, told me to pull around, and he aired it up for me for free. It truly blessed me that day!! Seriously need more kindness like this in the world! Thank you so much again!
After leaving the Kalamazoo area, I’ve yet to find a mechanic like Furr Auto. I was reminded of how great Steve and Jack are recently when I took my mom’s car in for a noise it was making. They are honest, straight forward and incredibly knowledgeable. I trust what they are saying is in my best interest, every time. And I miss being able to take my car to their shop!
I moved to the area about a year ago and Furr was recommended by a friend. My transmission cable detached. When I called, the gentleman I spoke to on the phone upon me giving make/model informed me of a recall that I wasn't aware of. Manufacturer sent mobile service to repair for free. I appreciate his knowledge of recalls and honesty!
They are truly the only people I will ever take my car to. Trustworthy and genuinely care about their customers and won't tell you 500 things that MIGHT be a concern that you should DEFINITELY let them fix for an additional $2000
Furr Auto was the first place that has treated me fairly. If something needs to be done to my Honda, they provide options to repair and costs up front. Never higher than their quote and always a fair deal. I would not think to mltake my car anywhere else.
Dependable and honest service with reasonable prices is the best way to describe Furr Auto. I started coming here when I moved back to Michigan. I found out about Jack and Steve when I asked my father who he trusted to work on his cars. I figured,, if these guys were good enough to get dads approval, that's all I needed to know. This place is amazing, the people here are very knowledgable and very true to their profession. Does not go after your money just keep very simple like a good doctor telling you what is wrong with you with simple terms. I enquired with well known car repair the estimate was 104$ v/s free diagnostic at this place. I am a fan now and you have a customer for long long time.
Jack and Steve are one the most honest people I’ve ever met. I brought my truck in to replace a wheel bearing and Steve explained to me that was only a bolt loose-which he tightened.... no charge.

Honest. Furr simply isn't out for the money. He gives good advice and takes care of the car/customer rather than charge the most expensive repair he can. Personally, I have had trust issues with Woodwards and Monro. Furr has saved me a ton of money, and I feel confident bringing my car there. I 100% recommend it.

Furr Auto Service was fantastic! I brought my car in for a regular tune-up in preparation for a cross country road trip. We made the appointment for 8am and it was ready by 1pm. They checked over everything, changed the oil and put in a new filter. The price was really reasonable, just under $80 for everything. I would definitely take my car back if I ever needed anything!
