Brought my car in the other day to repatch my front tires. Ever since then my key won't unlock my driver's door, as if they shoved a screwdriver in it or something. Have never had a single issue with my locks until coming here two days ago. I called to see what they can do and they claim to have not touched the outside lock at all. Customers BEWARE, very very shady business. Just caused over $400 in damage to my vehicle without taking any responsibility whatsoever, now I cannot even use my car at all. Not to mention they absolutely destroyed my rim while resealing the tire.
These guys are lazy & don’t do good work. They will put a tire on NOT put air in it then keep your valve caps. They also complain about customers coming in at 4-5 when they close at 6. Go anywhere else in town there’s too many options to have to deal with that stuff
These guys in here are exceptional. I have always gone here since I can remember car after car truck after truck and they are honestly the only ones in town id trust with my vehicle when it comes to the tires! Much appreciated
This place is awesome. Puts Firestone to shame! Firestone had an hour and a half wait and refused to put tires on my vehicle that I did not buy from them… Budget made it super fast and easy.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Not happy with our visit at all. They wait 2 hours to tell us they won’t put on our tires. So we wasted 2 hours and now can’t get in anywhere else. Thank you for messing not just today but the rest of the weekend and week. Rude and bad customer service. 10/10 DONT recommend

Had new tires put on. Won't hold air. Have taken back to them 2 other times to have the brand new tire fixed. So I've been there 3 times total. Still having to air my brand new tires up every 4 to 5 days. Not to mention the other complications I had with this transaction. I never write reviews but this was horrendous. I have tire pressure sensors I'd like to have installed but I'm not letting them touch my vehicle again. Giving up on budget and have an appointment with belle tire to have my issue resolved. Would not recommend to family or friends
The new owners are awful! They now charge you $40 to tell you that they can't do an alignment. When you make an appointment there is absolutely no mention of this fee. Completely unfair and an all around greedy company since they got bought out. Such a shame they used to be the best to go too.
Terrible customer service!! A fight about broke out between a worker and a customer in the waiting room. Was told an hour max, waited over 2 hours. Heard one of the workers say the balancer was over heating and throwing out strange numbers, that made me feel confident that my tires were balanced correctly. Never put my spare back in the corrct storage place or even offered. Got out to look at it, manger said it would be the same brand and type I had and it wasn't. Lied and said that he told me that it wouldn't be,which isn't true. I told him the brand for a reason and to match and he continued to say i didnt. You have workers yelling cuss words and ridiculing customers in the shop area after talking to customers on the phone....the list goes on. Awful experience and will never be back. I'd avoid at all costs.
Purchased tires & an alignment a week in advance. Showed up Saturday morning on my day off bc they don’t do appointments. Dropped off my vehicle, was called by noon to pick up my vehicle. The tires i ordered were not in stock so they put 4 different tires on. Was informed they didn’t have time to do the alignment and to bring the vehicle back the following week & they’ll get me right in to complete the job. Showed up Monday morning was told there were multiple ppl ahead of me and they wouldn’t be able to get to my vehicle. I showed my receipt that I already paid, I have the tires on and they just needed to complete the job. They said I could leave my vehicle to “get a place in line” or call at the end of the day to check the docket to see if I can get in the following day. I called first thing Tuesday morning and asked to make an appointment, was informed they do not do appointments and it’s first come first serve. ((Even though they started the job and didn’t finish)) I asked them how soon they could get to it if I dropped it off Thursday on my next day off. Was informed again it’s first come first serve. Showed up this (Thursday) morning at 8:05am they opened at 8. Was told they only had 1 mechanic and would not be able to get to the alignment but they would “try” I would just have to leave my car to hold my place in line. There were 10 other vehicles ahead of me. I left and had my brother call bc I feel like I’m getting the run around and now I have 4 brand new tires being worn down with no alignment. My brother called and spoke to Justin the GM and he was literally no help at all other than offered a refund for the alignment that was never done.
I don’t know how you can operate a business this way when people don’t have time to sit and “hope” you’ll get to their vehicle today or tomorrow or next week or the week after that for that matter. You physically have to leave your vehicle to obtain a place in line with no guarantee they’ll get to it that day!!! No system what so ever. Very unprofessional, false advertisement, no customer satisfaction, and will never be back. I would’ve gave the tires back for a full refund as well, but was told I could not as I already drove off the lot with the WRONG tires I purchased which I was told to pick up even though the job was never completed! 0/10 in my opinion.
Absolute joke. This place is unprofessional as they come. Put new tires on and never put TPMS sensors on or checked them to see if they even worked. Terrible communication and customer service.. One guy working the front desk was professional but the boss in the back office is definitely not!! Save your time and money and go elsewhere!!
My husband took my truck in yesterday to have the tires switched out. First they couldn’t even get my lugs off, I just had tires off in my driveway last week, they damaged all the lugs so he had to purchase new ones. Then upon further inspection of my tires/rims he found they beat the crap out of one of them, put a hole in the cap and took chunks out of the aluminum. He Went back into the store this morning for them to tell him it’s not their problem and there is nothing they can do. He said yesterday there was only 2 people waiting yet it took him close to 3 hours for the truck to get done and when he walked outside all of the workers were standing out behind the shop smoking. Currently waiting on call back from the higher ups because this is unacceptable!!! Do not recommend going here for anything, we have used Budget for 15 years or so and have never had an issue like this but the workers told my husband they are being bought out so the owner refuses to purchase new tools and obviously no one gives a crap there anymore.
Drove away and didn't realize until the next day that the knuckleheads there either forgot to screw one of my lug nuts back onto my rear tire or it flew off because they didn't tighten it down properly. You would think that, of all places, a tire center would remember to check the lug nuts before they pull the car out of the garage. Seems like, I don't know, their job!
Update: they replaced the missing lug nut while I was home for the holiday!
2 stars only because they originally lowered the price due to their mistakes. Ordered tires last week for my car, came in today and they had given them to someone else. They lowered the price for different tires which made us happy at first. They didn't take my car back until 2 hours in. Then 20 minutes ago they said they can't do an alignment or the sway bars because of issues with control arms. I came in and sat down at 9am- it is now 2:37 pm and I am still waiting. All they have done is add 2 front tires (and sway bar links since we firmly requested them). Crazy.
Editing to add they lowered my final price which is much appreciated. Added a star. Just be ready to wait! Lol!
The guys did a great job! My Subaru was being difficult, but they were able to work through it and get my car back to me, it's like driving a new car! Thank you so much.
It was fine. The owosso location is exceptionally better. The customer service was below average. No one ever asked my name. It was very chaotic. But they took care of me in less than 40 minutes and properly addressed my issue. I definitely will make the drive to owosso next time though.
I ordered a set of tires for my truck on the website and was able to set up an appointment for installation next day. I was surprised and figured maybe they were already on site. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told that they weren't there yet. That's not a big deal to me, I would have been very impressed if that was how quickly they could have them ready and managed my expectations appropriately. However, they told me they should arrive in a couple days, and they would call me when they showed up. Fast forward 2 weeks, I called the shop and was told that the tires haven't been ordered yet, and that they were going to call the distributor immediately and call me right back with some answers. Needless to say, that phone call never came. Being frustrated with being blown off for 2 weeks, I was left with no other choice but to cancel my order.
Walked in asked for an alignment and tire rotation. The guy said we can do it, I said I am dropping it off can I get it back by lunch. It is now 9:00 in morning. He says I can't give a time I know by end of day. I said so you are telling me if I waited with it I could expect to sit here for 9 hours, he says I can't give a time. First time coming in and will be my last time. Very poor service and staff is not helpful at all. Amazing who they hire to wait on customers. Belle Tire here I come.
I had a tire repaired. Turns out the valve stem was leaking. I purchased the tires at this location. About a month later I decided change the brake pads on this same tire (wheel). I was able to take one lug nut off with my half inch breaker bar. The others were torqued incredibly tight. I have never had this problem before. The remaining four lugs had the chrome covers stripped. After driving on an impact socket and using my floor jack handle as a lever extension I was able to remove three. The last lug was chiseled, the covering removed and an external extracting socket used to break it loose. I will never walk in the door again. Another Jackson clown show.
They are fast and helpful. They do what they can and always get me back on the road safe and sound. When I think I am going to find a better deal somewhere else, I end up getting serviced there anyway. Thanks guys! Great job!
Should’ve never trusted a place like this to align tires this expensive. Curious if they’re in business to replace my 265 55 20 Mickey Thompson’s they ruined with their crosseyed alignment.
I loved going here until they sold me a tire to put on a bent rim that I knew for a fact was not bent when I came in. I drove the 5 mi home and it was at the end of the day so they closed and my tire was already almost flat. Had to wait until Monday as it was Saturday afternoon when I got it done. Left work early so that I can make it in time for them to fix it. Just to find out that it's my fault that I have a bent rim and it must have came in like that and so they tried to seal it with some kind of rubber even though it is a very large dent. And never told me anything about it. So I had to leave work early Monday to come up here just to be told that it's my fault and there's nothing they can do. I would not be suspect except for the fact that I know I did not hit anything on my way home. I know it was not bent before the fact. And I was never told that they found something wrong with my rim... Completely suspect in my opinion. Why would you not tell the customer there's something wrong with what they own.
This is the only place I have ever taken my cars in Jackson to get tire worked done. They are the best. Great prices and great service and everybody here is down to earth and nice and friendly and they know what they are doing.
Excellent service. I brought in some old wheels and tires and asked if they could mount them for me because Discount Tire refused due to their age and attempted to sell me 2 new tires which I can't really afford right now. Not only did they mount them for me without question, they also balanced them for no charge to me! Previously Discount charged me $30 just to mount a different pair without balancing. Will definitely return in the future!
My son took his car in for drivers side tires to be repaired. Instead of inspecting the tires(which I would assume(!) they would do first) they instead just replaced 2 tires on the passenger side(those tires were perfectly fine!). When he got home, his driver side tire was hissing & we woke up to it completely FLAT. I called as soon as they opened to tell them I wanted the tires back & needed the driver’s side tires fixed. They told me they would give me a refund & put my original tires on. Once my husband got there, they told him they didn’t have the tires & we could not speak to a manager about a refund. They COMPLETELY took advantage of my son & are HORRIBLE at customer service! We used to take our company vans there. No more! If a manager reads this, please reach out!
Terrible. Bought new tires from them 18 months ago and they stole my custom valve stem caps had to waste 3 days worth of time fighting them for a number to the store owner or manager Would not give it to me. Finally found one online. Since then the tires have all leaked on and off brought it in to have the seals cleaned again and this time they did not tighten the allen screw that hold my center hub on so now I have a lost 20 year old cap. Smh. Only reason why I brought it back there was because the tires were purchased there so the maintenance is free. Never buying there again. Oh and watch those custom valve stem caps because while complaining about mine in the lobby, two additional customers have had theirs go “missing “ as well. I will be back tomorrow with an update on the cover.
Amazing customer service from everyone I spoke with. I came in for a slow leak in my tire and the crew had me checked in and on my way within half an hour! I understand that may not always be the case considering demand fluctuates throughout the day however this experience alone is enough for me to confidently say they’re going to be my first choice going forward.
First time I have been here for my personal vehicle and I must say I was very happy with the service and the prices. Budget Tire is very competitive and I'm sure they can meet or beat any price the competition may have. Also my vehicle needed 4 new tires and was driven into the shop bay at 8:05 am and was finished at 8:45 which I thought was quick.
Nice clean , the young men were professional, polite , the service was top notch. The only thing we were here for was a low tire light, we were treated as if we purchased 4 brand new tires
