I was leaving Walmart in Tawas only to discover I had a flat tire. Called my insurance towing number got a pretty quick call back from Randy's. While waiting for them I discovered my car didn't come with a spare or a jack. The driver Alex was kind enough to take my tire off, drive me to the auto center and wait with me while they put a new tire on my rim and drove me back to my car and put it back on. All with a pleasant attitude and a smile. Thanks for the great service.
Beware of Randy's Towing! This is a very dirty company that breaks multiple laws and prays on the victims of automobile accidents. One of their main goals is to charge as high as they can, especially for police tows that way they can jack up the rates and if you don't pay you will have no choice but to pay their astronomical fees. They claim they are 24/7 and take multiple forms of payment but in reality they will take your vehicle at anytime and prevent you from getting your vehicle or your belongs until it meets "their" schedual and have thousands of dollars of cash in hand. Meanwhile it racks up more daily charges in hopes you cannot come up with the cash to remove your car from their premise. They then will auction off the vehicle for even more profit. This is a family ran scheme that all are in on it. They are all hostile and rude and take advatage of this loophole for years... However this is about to end as their is new House Bills coming down the pipeline to help resolve the methods this slimball towing business exploits. I hope nobody has to deal with this company or anyone that takes advantage of our small knit community.
Randy’s Towing is dependable, reliable, and truly goes above and beyond. Recently, both of my key fob batteries died while they were inside my locked car, leaving me completely locked out. Randy’s Towing was incredibly helpful and had someone at my house in Mikado within an hour. They were prompt, professional, and willing to do whatever they could to help.
The photo included is from a completely separate occasion when I had to contact them to tow my car because it was not drivable due to flat tires and other mechanical issues. That experience was just as positive and further shows how reliable they are.
It’s rare to find a company that genuinely cares about their customers, and Randy’s Towing consistently delivers outstanding service. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of towing or roadside assistance.
Snow plow damn near took out me mailbox when I was standing out in me long John’s called up Easter owl on the telephoner and had Randall come out and tow me out lickity split ! Damn near tipped my 05 Harley Davidson over in the first winter snow storm of the year I’m lucky my Chevy bronco was parked two feet from the ditch and they were able to pull me out in time before the December squall arrived these guys do a good job I’m lucky me ma had em saved into her telephone book they sure towed me out in time saved my ass a fortune in repair costs
Locked the keys in our van. Randy's was on site quickly. The service technician had our van open within a minute. Had a pleasant and professional demeanor. Very satisfied with the service!!!! :)

These guys were great delivering my boat 150 miles away. When they came for the pick up they checked to make sure the trailer was safe and found a loose bearing which they tightened up. Also they added some extra tie down straps for a safer trip. Would for sure use them again. The lady in the office is really nice too.

If you are looking for a tow service don’t use this one. I needed a tow service on the evening of 2-12-2025. I have a commercial vehicle, and there was a pick up truck about 500 ft away from me. The tow service came out in a one 1/2 ton pick up to pull out both of us. It took about the same amount of time to pull out each of us. They towed me about 10 ft. Randy’s Towing charged me $1,125.00 and charged the pick up truck $200.00. That’s 5 1/2 times more than the pick up truck. They have no conscience!!!
In reference to your comment, first of all I wasn’t Jack knifed. If that would have been the case the trailer would have been in the back of the sleeper.
In reference to the commodity I was hauling, what does that have to do with the amount of time you spent and the equipment you used? Your only true statement was that I was blocking the road. Again, 30 minutes with a 1 and a half ton pick up to solve the problem, that’s $1100.00 per half hour including your drive time, brain surgeons don’t make that much money. This is nothing more than price gouging!! Appreciate your hospitality in working with you but when you’re making $1100 dollars per half hour including your drive time, it pays to be nice. All we ask for is fairness in the work you did. That’s why you have so many bad reviews!
Currently, I was in an accident and I wasn’t at fault police officers called them for assistance to remove the car off of a 41. I requested it to be taken to my residence. They refused even though I have insurance they held my car till payment was received charge $554 to take the car a mile not even And still charging me $50 a day to the point where I cannot afford to get my car out. I would not recommend this tow company to anyone. Their rates are ridiculous, and since I had car insurance registration and fully legal I would consider my car stolen by this tow company.
They towed my vehicle 4 miles to one of their tow yards after a head on collision and tried to charge us $700 to get the truck out of their yard.
Then when we proceeded to come get our belonging out of the car the lady was rude as can be saying we were unbolting items from the truck without any form of tools to unbolt something.
This place is by far the worst towing company I have ever had to deal with!

Randy’s was very prompt in coming out to respond to my vehicle while being immobilized by a deer. Of course I was over 80 miles away from home on my way to visit my Dad in Tawas. They were so kind to give me a ride to my Father’s home on the way to their bullpen in East Tawas. My husband drove up from down state with a car hauler trailer to retrieve my vehicle. The fee was over $700 for them to tow the vehicle less than 15 miles & a passenger fee. This just seems to be highway robbery.
Great customer service! When you call them in an emergency - they promptly came out and towed my vehicle to a repair shop. Excellent Compsny with really nice owners!! Used several times over the years - I highly recommend them!!

Watched them wait for families to park in an empty parking lot and get out to watch the fireworks only to return to find this company holding their vehicles hostage for $220 each. This is how they thank tourists for coming to Harrisville, Michigan! Just pathetic what some people will do for a quick buck, but I guess this is how Randy’s Towing wishes you a Happy 4th of July!!
For the love of God do not let them take your car! AAA sent them after I got in a car accident .I told the tow truck driver where to take it. now mind you I got in this car accident 3 hours from home and wasn't super familiar with business in the area. The driver then informed me that where I wanted it taken was not a collision shop and that he would take it to his shop. Being in distress and confusion after an accident I said okay. Came to find out that he didn't have a shop to repair the vehicle it was an impound lot. And when I called they said don't worry you're not being charged impound fees. So I had to call around and find a collision shop in the area that could take my vehicle, after I found one my insurance company attempted to send their tow truck to Randy's to move it from there to the new collision shop they would not work with the tow company my insurance sent out. They then charged my car insurance over $1,100 to tow my car. They towed my car twice once from the location of the accident 6 miles to their 'collision' shop and then I believe another 10 from their place to the collision shop that was actually going to fix my vehicle. I find that $1,100 to tow a vehicle 16 miles is a bit ridiculous and also personal items in my vehicle were stolen while in their care. I hope you read this entire review to save yourself a headache I would not recommend this place to anybody and if your AAA attempts to send them don't let them.
Would never call them again and would recommend no one do. Told where to tow and it didn't arrive for over 24 hours. And it was only 3 mile tow. Very rude and unprofesional.
Too bad I can't give them a ZERO star rating!! First, they gave an ETA of 60 minutes. After not showing we were told it would be another hour and a half. Again after not showing we were told there were no drivers available because they took the holiday off and it would be in the morning before anyone could show up. How disgusting to let someone sit for 3 hours and then tell them the holiday is more important.
The dispatcher is really nice- the person they sent out was far from professional. He pulled the truck out of the garage and bent the mirror on the side of the garage. Broke it more than it was and left marks on the side of the garage. He said that it wasn’t much and it wasn’t his problem. It wasn’t huge but there was no remorse. He decided that instead of dealing with it he just dropped the truck and left. It worked out better I got another copy which was a joy to work with from National City.
Having issues with being told, that I have a problem or don't understand the English language, when all I ask is to get items from a damaged vehicle. They close their lot on Saturdays at 1pm. Sometimes you need things from your car/truck after an accident. You are not thinking the same when in an accident. There was no compassion whatsoever. I never had issues with the drivers just the office personnel. It's just a Shame there is no compassion anymore in business.
