I searched online looking for a mechanic that I could trust and I found Cudahy Auto. I spoke to Dwayne in regard to what I thought was a transmission problem on my work truck when it was only a spark plug issue. After diagnosing, Dwayne was honest and didn't oversell me on something I didn't need. I will continue to use Cudahy for all my mechanical needs.

Dwayne’s care for my family and our vehicles was/is amazing. I drove in to chat about repairs on our suburban then mentioned I’d also like to bring my minivan in later for a small oil leak. He walk out of the shop to check it out and said the oil leak was a big risk for our engine. He made arrangements that evening to fix our van and had it up and running by the next morning. We are so grateful for the service and kindness. He also took care of a few small repairs that weren’t on the list for repair when we brought or suburban to him later. He goes above and beyond and I can’t imagine you could find a more honest or trustworthy mechanic for your repairs/maintenance. Thank you so much and God bless you Dwayne!

If you're looking for an auto repair shop, they're a dime a dozen. But if you're looking for a shop that is rooted in integrity, transparency, and professionalism, then Dwyane is your guy. I've been taking my cars to him for YEARS, and he has never steered me wrong. Not only does he do quality work at a diligent pace, but he's upfront and honest about your options/situation. And that kind of transparency is hard to find these days. I would never recommend anyone else, when someone is in need of auto repair. 10/10 👌

I brought my not great running 02 Corvette Z06 to Dwayne to see if he could troubleshoot some issues and within 10 minutes he diagnosed multiple problems. The car is now running better than i can ever remember it running! Very honest, trustworthy, and easy to work. He's definitely the go to guy for anything from basic repairs to full engine builds.

I was referred to Dwayne by another mechanic to work on my Lincoln MKZ. It needed a new water pump, timing chains, and many other maintenance like things. The work he did was very complicated. He also fixed things he encountered for no extra money above his estimate. To my great surprise he even washed & detailed the car’s interior at no charge. The car looks new again and runs like new after all his work. In closing, Dwayne performed all the repairs with surgical precision, he goes above and beyond, I’d call him Dr. Dwayne! Dwayne is your guy. I was recommended through a close friend. my car was overheating morning and I didn’t trust taking my car to dealership to get worked on due to the price gouging. I called Dwayne and left a voicemail. He got back to me very quickly. I then had my car towed right to his place. He took about a day to diagnose and fix the problem and fix an oil leak as well. my car hasn’t failed me yet until this morning when my car started overheating again after putting coolant in it. I called him in panic thinking he might know what was going on and he answered right away and walked me through it..i forgot to put the coolant cap back on lol. Dwayne is great. He is there when you need him, knowledgeable in his work, and fixes things at prices you can afford. I 100% recommend Dwayne for your car issues.

I just wanted to say Dwayne Cudahy Is awesome. He was able to get my car in quick, even rearranged a few things so that I would not be without my only vehicle for more than a couple days not to mention amazing price quote and work he even managed to point out some things that were not done from the prior Auto Shoppe. Hello, when I lived in Livonia I only went to one guy to fix my truck. I was very picky and really didn’t trust anyone. But then I had to move out to Gregory, then I need someone one to fix my truck because I can’t keep going back to Livonia I only have one truck to use. So I got quotes for other places and they wanted so much more, I needed and new timing change on my truck. But then I found that cudahy was only 4 minutes away from where I was living. Called and talked to Dwayne and he said come over drop the truck off and let’s talk. I was like well ok? He works out of his garage and it’s a very well equipped garage. Dwayne is a very neat and nice guy, he did before and after photos of the work he did on my truck and gave me my old parts back. I like his work and his personality and his prices are more affordable. And I know we are all human and can’t please everyone but I do trust Dwayne I have gone back and had him fix some more stuff on my truck. My name is Gus laslett. Dwayne is top notch and all of the other posted reviews you may have already read are spot on. I watched him work for over 6 hours today on my truck and now know first hand I could not have taken my repair project to a more skilled, conscientious and knowledgeable master mechanic. Dwayne will treat you right and do everything in his power to see that you are pleased. I honestly cannot say enough good things about him. He takes an extreme amount of pride in his work and is very professional. Dwayne blows the ole “GM good wrenches” away! Have no worries because this guy is the real deal concerning automotive repair and performance work.
