I had a blinking engine light, 4 hour drive home and grandchildren to collect. I stopped in and they were very busy but took the time to read the code, troubleshoot and fix the problem within a half an hour. Always a great place. I come from Wausau WI for major service. I have had some interaction while on vacation. The crew stepped up got me back in the road. So now I come up for honest work timely repairs and courteous service. Thank you Keweenaw team

Little bit of a mixed review. My van had just barely started one night and felt sluggish as I was driving it. The next morning it wouldn’t start at all, didn’t even turn over. I brought it to AutoZone to check the battery — battery was fine, so they did their 30 second test that said something was up with the starter. I brought it to Keweenaw Automotive—didn’t realize they’d already been closed for an hour but Matt was there and was so kind and let me leave my van there and gave me a loaner car (Five stars for Matt going out of his way to help me). Got a call a couple days later that the van had started totally fine every time they tried it. I came to pick it up and was charged $75 for labor for the tests they ran. This isn’t sitting right with me as nothing was actually fixed and I don’t really have an extra $75 to spend especially if there’s something that’s actually wrong that I’ll have to spend more money on later on…

I'm a first time buyer from a dealership and wasn't sure how it works. Matt called me right back after inquiring online. He took care of literally everything and got me the best interest rate. He went way above and beyond for me! It was a quick, smooth and stress-free sale. I am beyond happy with my new car and the top notch customer service Matt provided. Said they fixed an electrical issue but now I cannot open the automatic sliding doors at all anymore and the vehicle will still not start, said they would charge again to just diagnose the issue. Customer service when dealing with their own repair work is not great and will not go back again.

Though the outcome of my car problem was not what I wanted to hear I still appreciate how they treated me, showed me & explained the problems.

Charged $96 for a fuse change because it “took 45 minutes to diagnose”, not worth coming here. Totally stealing from ya.

These vehicles that they have are probably the best used vehicle I’ve ever seen. They go through them from front to back top to bottom. Without a doubt I would travel 500 miles to buy a vehicle from this business easily.

Been driving by the dealership for a couple of weeks... Been looking at a 07 Chevy Tahoe... Decided to talk to someone... That being Matt from sales... He was up front about everything... And a slow tire leak... Set up an appointment for 4/27... Dropped the Tahoe off for 12:30pm and got a nice loner... Got a call about 4:30pm saying that it was repaired and ready to go...? While on vacation on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend we had a mishap with our car. Keweenaw Automotive was booked solid just like all the other auto service locations, but they were the only ones willing to squeeze us in at the last minute so we weren't stuck up there for weeks. In addition, they didn't take advantage of our situation and overcharge us. As a matter of fact, they ended up charging us less than the estimate they gave us. I highly recommend them!

Best place to look for a car. They also give a year free towing with doing any fix it work on vehicles even if it didn't come from there shop. Great staff as well kind friendly environment

My old Dodge Dakota finally gave out on me and I needed to find a solution. I found the Keweenaw Automotive website and browsed the inventory where I located an intriguing used Ford F-150. I was able to browse its Carfax history for free which piqued my interest. I called the next day and had a friendly and informative conversation about the truck. A few hours later I was test driving. I never felt pushed or rushed. All of my questions were answered and when I made the decision to purchase, I was assisted with all of the necessary paperwork. This was the easiest vehicle related transaction I've ever been a part of. Matt in Sales was extremely kind, knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. I'm loving my truck and grateful to Keweenaw Automotive for providing it. If you're in the market for a vehicle in the copper country head straight for Keweenaw Automotive. First rate in every way.

Had work done here for a few years, ended up buying a new rig from these guys as well. Sales staff was patient and let me go through everything at my own pace, and took good care of me after the sale as well. Seems like they really want you to be happy with your purchase once you get it home.

First visit to the service department. They said they would work with my aftermarket warranty on a car amd they did. They spent ages trying to even get a hold of them and dealt with the warranty company's rudeness amd unfairness, and inability to answer a phone. My auto is fixed, the warranty is getting canceled, and I will be back, just hopefully not soon. Thanks Scott!

Great ownership and workers, always go out of their way to be friendly and fair pricing. Most car dealerships make you feel like you got ripped off after you left, but not here!!

Wierdly Pricey. My glove box was wide open and my insurance papers were hanging out when I went to pick my car up (with the door unlocked!). When I asked the front desk about it, I was told that "maybe [the person working on my car] needed more info on the car or needed to find out whose it was." Sorry, but that's not an excuse to go rummaging through my glove box. You could have called me or checked paperwork in the shop. That being said, I AM glad the work was done. They did everything I asked and were very patient with me. I was even talked out of a repair I didn't need, which is saying something. If the glove box situation could be explained to me I'd change this reveiw in a heartbeat.

Hello , a little history lesson. I bought my first car from keweenaw automotive 4 years ago. Everything went well except the fact I was told truck had never been in a accident. That was false, the bumper was bent and crooked, they refused to help saying they didn't know. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Fast forward to my next purchase from them. A mini cooper. After buying the car i realized it had a bad transmission , brought the car in and they refused to fix it. Told me the noise was ok , loud metal on metal clacking noise in transmission. The battery also needed to be replaced, I was told that was not covered under their used car warrenty. sold that car at a loss. Still wanting to believe them and not having many choices in the area I gave them one last chance. I bought a Tahoe from them. I discovered it had water damage inside and brought the car in for service several times. I was told they couldn't find the source, I paid 400 in door seals and 500 to replace carpet. Car still leaks has moldy carpet and they have done nothing to remedy the situation. Word of advice. Matt will act all nice and make promises, but no follow through. Deceptive business. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. - 5 stars.

Great place to get a vehicle. Matt and Roger are great to deal with. It's where me and my family have purchased quite a few rides. Recommended!

Went to three other auto mechanics before ending here. They had by far the best service and were polite and fair priced.

I rarely leave reviews but just have to say how much I appreciate Keweenaw Automotive's service department. Scott and the team there are consistently polite, fair, fast, and most importantly, honest. Their prices are very reasonable and they only do the work that's needed. Never had a bad experience and look forward to purchasing a car from them in the future because of my interactions with their service department.

Matt is unreal. Absolutely incredible experience there, he made sure I was driving the car out of the parking lot after my test drive. Can't tell you how please I am and will be very loyal with my vehicle buying from now on!
