Lied about the transmission he sold me. Then when I got back with him to get the issue resolved he left me a bad buyer rating on Market Place and blocked me so I couldn't leave a rating for him. Very dishonest individual and company. It is definitely worth your time to look elsewhere for the parts you need.
This place is great fair prices..great advice lots of parts not found around for good deals.. always welcoming and always willing to work with everyone...stop out for all your used parts needs..Esp F body trans am parts, Camero parts, engine builds etc.
The guy is super friendly. He has a lot of information on upgrades and general technical information. Pricing was good. He made sure that I was taken care of before we left and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely would recommend this guy to anyone that is looking for parts for LS builds with GM components.
Very good experience, I am not the most educated in vehicles and he was great at keeping me up to speed with what I was there for to get. Does not deserve anything lower than a 5 star rating. Highly recommend working with them.
Super helpful with pulling and shipping a fuse box harness for my firebird! Priced very competitivly and had very great communication throughout the whole sale. Highly recommend
You can't find honesty people in this line of business anyone. Everyone's out to lie, cheat, and steal. These guys know what they're doing, and provided an extra hand without the extra charge. Don't listen to these sour reviews, they're user errors. Thumbs up.
Friend and I saw a some wheels and tires for his RV and drive out there at first they were cool but after paying for the wheels and tires and cleaning them up come to find out these are completely useless. Old tires and in extremely poor condition these people are con artist beware
Great people and value being Very honest on description and, and great value. It is a “U PULL used auto parts”. So as far as I can see on the review board all complaints are due to over pricing supposedly (if that’s the case, just don’t buy parts! Who gives a bad review over not like pricing? ) and as for getting the wrong parts, again it’s a you pull auto, so should have your research done and know what you are getting and looking for before you purchase parts!! Seems like a bunch of cry babies didn’t get their way, also noticed the abnormal coincidence of when one person makes a post seems like another person makes the same post? Seems like may just be an unhappy customer having their buddy’s making false claims. As for a man saying he bought a 01 transmission from a post that specifically says 04?? So what is it? Why would you buy a transmission for a car from a post that is not what you need? Unless you don’t know what you are looking for? Why would you buy it at that point? Easy to bash online, but bet he never went back out to father and sons and talked man to man with respect!
Jack and Heather screwed me. I bought a transmission from what they told me was an 01 mustang. After six hours of driving, an hour there, and four hours swapping it in I found out this wasn't an 01 transmission and it won't work on my car. When I come back and look at the Facebook listing it now says 04 mustang.
I wasted an entire day putting in a transmission that can't work in my car. Don't trust this seller, they'll tell you whatever you want to hear to make a sale. Complete scum !
The guy is a total jackass and posted pictures of nice taillights then tries to sell me ones that are broken and cracked saying they're the same ones in the picture. After wanting to talk to him about it he has all his little buddies pull up and threaten me to leave. Guys a crooked cheat don't go here its a waste of time and you just get f'ed over in the end
Bunch of crooks sold me the wrong part and within an hour I took it back cause they said bring it back got there and they said can't help you wouldn't refund wouldn't take the part and wouldn't give store credit HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE MONEY SATY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE ILL DRIVE 5 HOURS AWAY BEFORE GOING HERE EVER AGAIN
Every time I went here they were always helpful and most of the time they would have the parts I needed and where less expensive then the other places around here
Rip off elderly and anyone they can. Sell junk parts and just bad business on so many levels. Forced to have to take them to court rather than then fixing their blatant mistake. Definately DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!
Who knew this pull your own parts junkyard was out here in the boonies? My mechanic did lol and although we didn't score the part we needed, we did score on cheap replacement parts! I'm sure I'll be back...
Today I messed up my jeep really bad in the ditch and Father and sons was the first I could find that was available to help me in the middle of a snow storm this morning. Even got my jeep out of a pretty ridiculous position. They were at my location in under 30 min. And were very kind to me and my boyfriend. Should I need this service again I’ll definitely be calling them first!
Try charging me twice as much for a pair a tail lights I offer what I could afford said he rather run over the tail lights I’d rather Go broke then give any body like a penny
Rude and not helpful. I called and asked if they had a part and they said it should be out there. I asked if they would check and they said no. I asked for a price they said they didnt know. I asked what the condition was of the part and again they didnt know. I asked for a picture and they said no. I ended up going to glens in taylor mi. A drive but at least they knew what they were talking about, had reasonable prices, and were friendly.
Excellent parts yard! Best selection of parts, and affordable for the quality! Plus some real car enthusiasts work there so it makes it a bonus when you're looking for a hard to find part!
I've been up to father and sons multiple times always has what I need I always do my home work so I dont rely on them to tell me if a part will fit I tell him what I need and he tells me go find it ya u got to pull your own parts but the part has always been good
I my car locked whole it was running to warm up. I called up Father & Sons and with minutes someone showed up and unlocked the car! Fantastic service and speed. Thank you again!
Jack has about anything you need, in used automotive parts. Just have to pull yourself. Not a good location, but prices/selection and knowledge to help, makes the trip worth it.
Went there the other day had parts priced on the internet so I didnt get screwed over and Grandpa Jack tried to charge me damn near double for the USED part I had to walk for miles to find, while carrying my tools. Not complaining about that but I could have stayed in bed and ordered a NEW one to my house for 1/2 the price. Needless to say he wouldn't back down and I left.
I have searched around looking for a specific part and I called and went there and they had what I was looking for. And the price was reasonable and the service was excellent
So called twice before going since I'm 25 mins away and was assured both times they had the vehicle and part I needed both times. Nope.. not even close. I have a 05 jeep and they had a 2000 jeep completely stripped. These people will lie to your face just to get you there. Save yourself some time and go elsewhere.
Very dishonest business. I bought a transmission for a dodge truck from this place. Jack Sr guaranteed the transmission to be the correct one and to work. Well the transmission was the wrong one. Made a call to him and arranged to bring it back to him that Friday. Well that Friday he was out of town. He said to bring it back Saturday morning. He wasn't there Saturday either. After that he would not answer calls from me. Finally today after several calls Jack Jr answered. He said that his Father was unavailable and he runs the business since Monday. He refused to honor the refund. Complaint made to the B.B.B. Avoid this place unless you feel like giving your money away.
