I remember hearing such good things about it's reputation of being organized and selling particularly clean shredded scrap, that owner is gone and the new one fired almost everyone who used to give it that reputation. Congratulations on inheriting the above average and promptly making it mediocre, it's just another scrapyard now.

Best prices ever very friendly and educational! Free money and do your part to save the environment and resources by recycling old metal junk. Keep your windows up and prepare to get your ride dirty. Lots of fun watching the heavy equipment. #1. Just roll up on the scales loaded . Car or truck.. #2. Present I.D. #3 roll off scale throw into the pile of scrap. #4 Note if you have metals like copper,brass, aluminum,lead, platinum, car batterys you get more money for it than plain old metal scrap. So separate it and take to the special building for that on the premises. That tiney amount usually pays more than a whole truck load of regular scrap metals. #5 Roll back up onto the scale get your weight ticket for the scrap you put in the pile.#6 take your precious metals to the special designated building for way more $$.$$$ than just throwing in the pile. #7 get that weight ticket from the guys in the special building. #8 Go directly across parking lot submitted I.D. and both your metal weights slips. #9 Get your pay slip , step through the door next to the teller window, scan your pay out bar code and ATM will spit out your cash. #10 keep your receipt for tax purposes, enjoy your free money and making your community a prettier place.

Lady behind desk was trying to refuse to let me and my father have any cash same day once I was finally able to have her get a manager after 10 minutes of her arguing with me, the manager had an equally bad attitude but gave me the 500$ they were trying to hold from me. The office lady ran to the window to flip me off from inside when I was leaving and once I went back and spoke to the manager who again essentially told me go away and wouldn’t even acknowledge that their employee was flipping me off through the window. We were calm cool and collected just trying to understand why we brought 1000$ worth of scrap and we couldn’t receive any same day. We’ve been going here for 15-20 years with no issues and unfortunately today has put quite a sour taste in my mouth. Truly disheartening to have been treated so poorly which such little response when we tried to calmly bring it up to management. Spoke to me and my father very condescending and when all we were asking is the 500$ limit we always have been able to get which was no issues for management who was also puzzled she give us our cash. Multiple videos recorded I’d love to show to a representative who actually cares about their customers experience. **Edit for response, We know copper can’t be legally given cash for same day, we brought a hefty amount of cast iron and galvanized as well as brass, they refused any payment at all for any of it with the worst of attitudes. Even if the customers wrong (which we weren’t as they ended up paying as they could have all along) you don’t get to bring unprofessional attitudes into work, but apparently here it’s okay and defended instead of any apology for the behavior we experienced. Also have heard from many past employees they have shady business practices and treat their customers and business they work with, with little to no respect or courtesy. Hope they get it together as it was my go to yard for 10+ years until the last few poor experiences.

The so called yard inspector blonde guy with glasses is a very dishonest worker seems like Everytime we come here we get deducted 50 pounds for plastic and we never have plastic he waits till leave and never approached my husband about the issue he just a lying snitch we will not be coming back due to the dishonesty.

Lady on the steel scale has some real issues she's one of the 2 people working there that's running people off what I'm saying is before I took the review down about her coming up to my truck being rude telling me to move out the way when I was not in the way today she tells me I didn't have cast iron but on my slip she put cast iron on it because she no I did but tells me that I dropped scrap in the wrong Era and the guy that watches the yard was standing right out there while i was dumping the cast iron tub that she says was ballie then said that i dumped in the wrong era once before and I did it again today wich I did not and have never done the last time I came in with cast iron the guy in the yard help me unload it and showed me were to put it and that's were I put it today right in front of him I don't have time for the petty nit picking to keep down confusion I want bring steal in but I want let her stop me from coming as today she try to tell me that's stealing when I come to this yard or any other yard I go to I always show what I got and ask were it goes I never have and never will have to steal I like the yard and Mark in the back is a good guy very helpful very respectful and informational the way I've seen you all fire people since I been coming there I don't see how you constantly get complaints and negative reviews about her and she still there she really act like that's her yard like most people do that work on someone else's job reminder people working for someone else you can be replaced. I'm gone always be my on BOSS remember that.

Better than alot of the competitors. Fairly clean, organized and reliable until just recently...we went to take some scrap back and the lady behind the counter was extremely rude and refused us any cash and insisted we comeback in a week for the balance. I asked for a manager whom gave us the regular amount cash...I think it was 650 usually ...and the balance in a week. She was making faces out the blind and flipping us off and the manager just let her continue acting like a child...wouldnt say anything to her and started being ignorant just like she was when we explained her behavior. Very unprofessional folks at such a big companies counter. Shameful. I had my son with me...we were both disrespected and baffled at how that happens at a place like that. Where is the professionalism?
