Had my car diagnosed here. Great friendly guys. Only thing was they over quoted the work. They said $500 for the labor and $600 for the part. Used part would have been $450. Dropping it to $950. It was my fuel pump. I paid a street mechanic who dad owns a shop, $150 it took him less than 45 minutes. I paid $101 for the fuel pump with Detroit Axle had it shipped.
So I am confused to how they got $500 for labor? My car, you don’t have to drop the tank. Just remove the back seat (two bolts) and then twist and pop out the cap. Also my car had 3/4 gas in it came back with half a tank. My new mechanic didn’t spill any so idk where the quarter went. Anywho, I was sexually harrassed at work and then fired. My pump went out shortly after. I’m blessed God sent me that fair and honest young man. So far we are at $150k in settlement but I still have to wait because my lawyers said more. I’m trying not to cave but car and bills scare me. But I’m thankful they diagnosed the problem correctly. Idk why it was so much when I see reviews say they have fair prices. But no hard feelings. My car is back running today and that’s all that matters. Please check them out. I do love their $90 diagnostics fee. It was accurate and professional.
These guys saved my butt big time!!! They came within minutes to tow my 2019 Yukon Denali after springing an antifreeze leak which ended up being a water pump replacement. To my amazement 2 hours later it was all done and best of all they got my warranty coverage to cover 90% of it. Thank you again Jason, Vic and the rest of the team!!!

These guys was honest and did a great job on our car. I've been going through a lot of medical problems and our money is very tight. My wife called, told them the problem we was having with our brakes and they got her in, fixed our brakes better than what they were and kept the price in our budget. Had two experiences. They replaced a bolt that sheared on my wheel and swapped out a valve of some kind that was giving me trouble. Service on that was good, reasonably priced and fast.
The second time I dropped my vehicle off to get brakes fully done, I can change pads but beyond that it gets dicey. No communication for a full day. I came back in the afternoon of the second day. It smelled like the inside of a bong. The guy behind the counter had completely mixed my vehicle up with another customer's, they were planning to start doing something with my steering/suspension.
I won't be going back.
Easily the best auto repair shop in the area, and I've been to a dozen. These guys are honest, quick and inexpensive. They are also great at recognizing future problems your car might have and recommending maintenance before you break down. If you're not taking your car here for repairs, you're doing it wrong.
If not the best they're one of the best auto shops in the community. These guys just spent a few days tracking down and repairing damaged engine wires. Always overly happy with the services they provide and so will you.
I personally heard the owner spend hours looking for parts for a car and was able to buy an entire front suspension for less then 2 parts from autozone helping the owner immensely. These guys truly enjoy what they do helping others get back on the road.
Long story short, I did my own brake job and was stuck with bad rear calipers and brake lines. I was over my head, called Carriage Town, and they got me in and fixed up right away. I should have called them for the whole job. Thanks for the speedy service and fair price.
Hands down one of the best shops around. Originally came in for a headlight replacement and the employee I spoke with was very informal about the whole process. Price was very reasonable and also when the extra mile to inform me that my brake pads were needing replacement very soon and had an overall very good experience with them. I would recommend them to anyone with any vehicle maintenance needed.
Haven't got the work done yet but a dealership quoted me $1k for 2 repairs and when I brought my car here they pointed out 2 additional related repairs needed and I added 2 more tasks on top of all that for a total of 6 repairs. Quote comes out just a lil more than the dealerships quote! Definitely good prices and legit knowledge!
This place is a very friendly business, I drive about 40 minutes to take my Jeep to them. They listen and make sure they get the job done. I give this place 5 stars

My phone actually brought you as a collison shop as i thought about it,i called and the guy said you were a auto repair company.He was quite brash on the phone too.
I stopped by during the pandemic stage,to inquire on an estimate of repair,but it must have been a bad time because the lady at the counter must have been having a rough day too,as we all were.
A longtime family friend has her car repaired there always,she gave me good comments but business is business and i wouldn't want to waste your time on an estimate,had I known the estimate cost would have went towards the repair price and had i received common courtesy ,i could have been a regular customer.
But i totally understand the situation,things were tense all around.
And i thank You for responding to My review.

Had an oil change done. Truck was left 2 quart's low. I did call the manager said they owe me an oil change. Not sure if I will be back or not. I provided 2 gallons of oil and a quart of Lucas oil treatment. They did not return the unused oil so I am even questioning if they used bulk oil and kept the Castrol synthetic I provided. I am a retired auto tech. I usually change my own oil but with the cold I decided to try a shop. I guess that is my own fault. This was my first interaction with this shop. The shop has tried to remedy the problem so I changed my review to a 4.
My car was leaking Antifreeze and needed to be fixed. They identified the problem and fixed it in a timely manner. Very professional. I will definitely use their services again. I highly recommend them
Called to get a quote about lifter work I wanted done on my car and told me that’s something they won’t be interested in doing because they’re “too busy” didn’t even give me a estimated time when they’ll be able to do it.
I had messaged Carriage Town because I needed an alternator put in. They were fast to respond to my message and my car was done and running within the next two days. I would highly recommend this place!
Fast friendly service they had my truck back up and going within the next day awesome work truck runs like a top with the new engine highly recommended

Honest and trustworthy! Extremely good service time and time again. Finding a trusted mechanic is tough. This place is the real deal. HIGHLY recommended for their service and dirt low labor costs.
Recommended here by a friend these guys took my money with out fixing the problem according to them there was no problem, had to take my vehicle to muffler man for 2nd opinion only to find Cadillac converter had gas spiting back in it and needed a tune up which is something any mechanic with space and opportunity could tell right off they said they could tell nothing was the matter becuz they test drove it and drove out 1\2 quarter tank of premium gas got the car back only to drive away with the RPM even more rampant than when I dropped it off. Not to mention I'd taken the car to them on 3 different occasions. When I called to let them know this and that I had gotten a 2nd opinion all the guy who worked the front desk could say was "Thats great buddy" ?
I have had my cars serviced at Carriage Town Auto for 29 years. They have always been reliable, knowledgeable, and efficient. Due to their ability to get repairs done in a timely manner, they charge accordingly. I have the utmost respect for them. They stand by their work and their employees. These guys are down to earth. I had a good sized oil leak on my 09 malibu anx they saved me $300 compared to the other shops to fix it. They took car of my aunts 98 grand prix since she got it that model year! Keep it up guys u got urself a customer for life!.
