This is the Amish store that used to be on the other side of town.
The cashiers and shelf stockers are all wonderful, polite, and usually sing a little song as they work, literally.
My biggest piece of advice is that if you see something you like, stock up, because chances are, they'll be all out of it the next time you stop in. It's kinda similar to Big Lots. Only with food.
If you're on the fence, hop off and stop in! They have all kinds of interesting, discounted items that change daily, so you never know what you'll find.

When purchasing a lot of items, be VERY careful on watching them punch in the prices and check the receipt BEFORE you leave the store.
The cashiers manually enter each price. They make so so so many mistakes. Usually the mistakes average between $20 - 30. Every time.
The last time I was there I was overcharged by $75. The owners lied when we disputed it. Very dishonest.
I suggest adding things up yourself while you are shopping if you plan on buying a lot of things at once.
Be sure to check expired food items in the shelf stable grocery section to make sure they don't say PERISHABLE KEEP REFRIGERATED. I mentioned to them they had some cheese dips that were months expired and they said 'Perishable Keep Refrigerated' on them. Their solution to this was to move them to the freezer area.
This is a nice little Amish store. They have lots of snack items and they have a freezer/refrigerator section where you can get awesome cheeses and they have some meats. It’s a really nice place to visit. When in season they have very nice tomatoes and other vegetables. They have some pie pumpkins and acorn squash, and butternut squash right now oh and really pretty Indian corn ?
Oh my goodness talk about price gouging!!!!! 1 block of yeast $6.50!! They wanted to sell me a case for $128.00
Ican purchase a case normally from my supplier for $50.00. I inquired about a more reasonable cost, they would give it to me if i made an order ahead of time. I guess but, that is one heck of a mark up for a discount store. I went elsewhere more reasonable prices.
Prices are reasonable. It is a salvage grocery store so a lot of the products are past expiration. I've never had any issues with the items purchased. They do have a few fresh produce items in the summer.
This store use to be a favorite. When I first started going here prices were great for out dated food but now your almost paying for the same stuff that's in date from the big box store's. After going here this time we have decided that it's better to go to save a lot or drive to Mt. P for Walmart.
Great store for amazing deals! The Staff is super kind and extremely helpful. Lots of name brand items with low prices. A must go to place while exploring the Clare area.

My husband and I spend $$$ here every month but it's worth the trip in savings. We love shopping there because you never know what you'll find, food as well as deals.
This is my favorite place to shop. I go there every week. I highly recommend checking it out. Like others have said, you never know what you'll find. But guaranteed, you'll find something. They're prices can't be beat. The staff are always friendly and courteous. ?

They had some really great deals and a selection of Amish products. Quite a bit of "scratch & dent" but that is no big deal. I probably saved $50 off retail on what I bought. Well worth the trip and it will likely become a weekly stop.
Amish scratch and dent type of store. Some out dated foods. Some are ok some are stale prices are low. Never know what you'll find. They also sell some Amish made rugs, jams and jellies and a few other canned foods. Always worth the stop to find a something.
This place is our weekly go to for snacks, drinks (non alcoholic), frozen foods and fresh fruit (in bulk summer months is best in town).
You do have to check the expiration dates since they do have some items past the best by date, but you can't beat the great prices!
We save lots of money here due to the prices on most items being 20 - 50% less.
The inventory changes often so if you like something, buy two or more because they will likely not have it again.
We are plant based eaters and watch sugar, and they have a great variety for us. Many gluten free options as well here, you just sometimes have to go slow and look at all the shelves.
Summertime they have baked goods on the weekend and they are delicious, Amish made breads, pies, deserts and more. Go early (before noon) since they sell out most of the time. We have ordered in advance what we like and done pick ups so if you love their baked goods as much as us, that's a great option.

This is the "new" Amish store, that moved from its location on E Surrey Rd.
Awesome prices, interesting selection, and super nice workers. It's always a wonderful experience, and you never know what you'll find.
