I have been taking my vehicle to Eriksens for years and they never let me down! They do great work at a fair price and are always incredible at getting you in and out quickly. The guys are always friendly and willing to take the time to explain whatever is going on with my car.
I Wasn’t sure what the problem was, I was planning to drop my vehicle and have them look at it the next day, as it was getting late into the afternoon. The guys were able to get to it quickly, diagnose the problem, get a new battery picked up and installed for me before the end of the e day. The guys were very helpful in explaining things. I will be coming here again the next time I have a problem!
Great care from this group! We were kept safe as our truck/rv was on the side of a busy highway..they towed our truck and RV. This group went out of their way to provide us with a safe place to camp. Great communication about the repair process timeline.
When I called the shop, Scott was very polite and helpful. He took the time to explain the repairs and what to expect, which gave me the confidence to have him work on my truck. Within just a few days, Scott had the repairs completed and my truck back on the road. I couldn’t be happier with the results—the work was excellent, and my truck now runs like it’s brand new.

The young man who helped when we first stopped in was especially great. He was busy working but stopped what he was doing and gave me a detailed analysis of my car problems. The shop got to my car as quick as they could and fixed it well.

Very happy with the ride I am getting, much smoother. Leslee noticed it too. You know I have been a client of yours for so many years now as you are someone I know I can trust. No offense, but that’s not always the case with mechanics. When my Grandpa was alive I could always call on him. He was a farmer but could fix just about anything, from tractors and cars to combines and trucks. He would even fix a Ford (he drove Studebakers & Plymouth’s) if you were really desperate. I loved the smell of his gas and oil soaked dirt floor in his little corner garage. My Grandma scolded me for wanting to hang out with him. When I lived in Chicago I got ripped off several times with a starter that they replaced at the dealership. Finally on a trip to Georgia a peach farmer it’s told me what I needed. There was a tooth missing from one of the little gears or cogs so it wasn’t engaging or damaging a larger gear. At one point I thought I would like to be a mechanic but my dad said no Daughter of mine is going to be a grease monkey. So from a would-be monkey ? to a trustworthy one ?. Thank you for your awesome service all these years.

I work down in Grand Rapids came back up to visit Boyne City to go ride snowmobiles and such. I drove my plow truck up there and blew both rear calipers out on it. I called the night before they fit me into their schedule the next day and got me back down to Grand Rapids! Very good price as well, I have no complaints at all!

My battery light came on Sunday before Christmas while staying at Boyne Mountain Resort. I called Eriksen's Tuesday morning and he told me to bring the car right in. He had it repaired (battery and alternator) by 11:30 the same day. Not only did he fit me in but he was honest and very knowledgeable. I'm not sure what I would have done if he hadn't fixed it was scheduled to leave on Wednesday. I recommend him to anyone needing car service while in the Boyne Falls area.
One of my spark plug coils failed on our drive up from Kentucky to go skiing. We called and spoke to Scott the owner on Friday afternoon. He ordered the part and agreed to meet me Saturday morning to repair the car even though he is closed on Saturday. Rare to find someone willing to go out of his way to help a stranger.
