I am terrible with remembering names but I want to say Roy or Rory. He went above and beyond today for me. He installed my car battery. He found the 2 screws that were supposed to be holding up some brake fluid thing as it was just hanging there and he fixed that. He installed a wiper blade I couldn't figure out how to replace. And he pointed out something that had leaked into my air filter which he took out to show me. Sir, you are what every employee should model themselves after. I truly hope your employer realizes your value as much as I did today! Thank you so very much! Joyce Reid

I just wanted to send a thank you note to the store manager: Brett Hadley , who pointed me in the right direction to get battery changed in our 2014 Acura MDX. He took the time, and gave me the number and address, of a great mechanic in the area. We were on vacation at St Joseph Michigan, where we have been coming up for 7 - 10 years. He sent me to Enders Auto Repair, where Terry and his wife, got me in ASAP, and made the change that needed to be made, and got me on my way back to the beach with my family!!!!!!!!!!!!! If Brett had not taken the time, to help me, I might have missed the whole day at the beach with my family. I never do reviews, and this if my first. Thought Brett and the Auto Zone Team, deserved a Great Review for helping a family on vacation get out of a jam. Thank you again Brett Mikey from Kentucky

I can't say enough about the store in St. Joseph,MI. My husband spoke by phone with the store on Saturday night minutes before closing to find a part for our van. The gentleman on the phone took his time, answered questions and help locate the part. On Sunday morning when I went to get the part for my husband armed with a picture of the part on my phone, I encountered a different gentleman. Who was very patient with me and went above and beyond. He spoke to my husband by phone about the part and got the part. Unfortunately the part was the wrong part but it wasn't the store's fault. I returned to the store with out my purse. The gentleman located the part I needed and then brainstormed ways for me to avoid having to drive half hour back to my house to get my debit card and return for the part. All the while apologies for a mistake that wasn't his, it was ours. This is a great store with an amazing staff. I would and do recommend them to everyone needing auto parts.

St. Joseph, Autozone. I went for what I thought was a dying battery. I wasn’t able to turn on my car and had to be jumped enough to get there. I asked the guy if he could install the battery if that was the problem. He was not very nice or friendly from the start, and not good customer service skills at all. Andnobviously not knowledgeable since he said that my battery was “perfect.” He said if I can, I can’t all the cars. I told him that the battery I had then had been installed by someone there. He said, “again, if I can, not all the cars can be done.” He checked the battery and said that the battery was perfect and it wasn’t that. The next day I couldn’t turn my car on again. I had to call someone to jumpstart my car. I went to autozone in Berrien Springs and they installed my new battery. They were very professional, very nice and had great customer skills. I will never go to Autozone in St. Joseph ever again.

Sold me the wrong brakes. Not just once, but twice. First time I could return them and got my money back. Second time I thought there was no way they would screw it up so I didn’t bother with receipt. Set me back $250. partially on me for not getting receipt and not knowing the exact part down to the number that I needed. however in my personal opinion when you make the same mistake twice, that swiftly, you put the majority of the accountability on yourself and who you represent.

I was at this autozone location today trying to have a diagnostic test run and fill my coolant. The guy who helped me said he was one of the managers and seemed to be very persistently hitting on me! He kept trying to ask me to come to his house and he’d change my oil for no charge..just a couple tacos… i tried to politely redirect/turn down a few times but he was so persistent and went so far as to try and have me purchase oil and filters saying he would put them in my car when I came over….. EXTREMELY uncomfortable….i think his name started with a T, Timmy or Thomas or something of that sort…when I told my mother she said he had done the exact same to her a few months back!!!! Definitely will choose a different location next time….extremely unprofessional and didn’t feel the safest!!!

Auto zone not only sell auto parts, they are very helpful and assist customers to fix their car problems. The store at is very clean and well organized. They not only professional but customers awareness. They fix my signaling lights and red tail light, which made me feel safe driving. Thank you Joe and the other customer personnel (forget his name). You are all appreciated!

We had a break-down while passing through on a Sunday afternoon. Roy T and the other guys were EXTREMELY helpful in helping us get the exhaust back together and get on the road. THANK YOU guys!! You were a day-saver.

I had a nice fella named Damien help me out today after making a rather dumb mistake with my car. He went well above and beyond what I would think his requirements are, and I'm so grateful for the help. He was super kind and patient, and the world needs more of this. Roy has always gone above and beyond each and every time we have come in with a small problem. He thoroughly checks out the vehicle and gives recommendations to get the vehicle repaired so we are not without a vehicle. Appreciate his honesty and knowledge.

I stopped in a few days ago to have a back brake light replaced and a new battery put in a key fob…I had the best customer service from Damion. I will most definitely be back, appreciate great customer service!

My wife was at the beach with a dead battery and autozone was willing to go and get a battery out to her and install it. Super convenient and helpful! Special shoutout to Rob who came and helped her out!

I have used this location twice for car batteries and once for wiper blades. The staff is so helpful, the store is very clean and organized, installation services are quick and efficient. And a shout out to Roy for going the extra mile to resolve my latest battery issue.

Went to AutoZone need a ball for my back right light I was assisted by one of their associates he took the old ball amount put the new one in tested all the lights before it went back in he did a great job I went and I bought him lunch because I felt that he didn't have to do that if he didn't want to even know they want their employees to do the work on the vehicles for the customers but my eyes nobody has to do anything they don't want to do he was a big help and so I bought him lunch and I highly recommend this AutoZone The service is great and their customer service is the best 10 stars in my book!

I have been to many AutoZone with declining service over the years, with the exception of this location. I was presently surprised how helpful and knowledgeable the manager was, I was having trouble with my battery and Robbie was able to trouble shoot and install one for me, he even notice an out headlight that I had forgot about-he hooked that up for me also and had me back on the road in no time! Thanks guys!

I was taken advantage of here. They refused to run a diagnostic test and then I was told my battery was the problem. $200 later and turns out the battery was not the problem. When I went back, they told me they couldn’t do any diagnostic tests, then made fun of me for not knowing what one of the lights was on my dashboard. I went to O’Reilly’s and was treated much better. Stay away from here.

Best service ever. Had to pull out the old fashion books to help find the part, researched and looked, took the time to call the other store and asked them to hold on and it close since we needed the part so bad. Real heroes. Thank you.

Gary was an exceptional help. I was having car troubles on a Sunday afternoon. Since no shops are open on Sundays, Auto Zone was really the only option during my trip out of state. Gary took time out of his day to investigate the issue and provide appropriate steps to determine a) best steps to safely get back to Chicago, and b) what to check when taking it to a shop. I'm not from the area, but would absolutely recommend this shop based on Gary alone.

Excellent Service! I needed a battery terminal expander BADLY and they didn't even charge me for it. I was able to fix my vehicle in the parking lot and drive away. Pounded that boy on there clamped er up and good to go!!! Would absolutely return again.

I always get a sense of "I hate working here" when I go in. If I am the only customer, it takes 5 minutes to get waited on. If I am one of others, it takes 10-15 mins. I always come with a part number ready now because there is just no way for them to find what I need when their computer is that bad. I've been in plenty of other parts stores, this one just feels like they don't really want to be doing the job. Only reason I gave a 2 instead of 1 was because they still have parts I need from time to time.

Gary Smith was a big help!! We had some car trouble, & Gary helped us out big time!! He was very generous & insisted to check everything on my car to make sure we were safe for our trip. Thank you & he recommended we visit Autozine when we get back. He truly loves his job!
