Brought my vehicle in for a general inspection. Was recommended to replace the front right lower arm and get a wheel alignment. paid $65 for general inspection, about $325 for labor, and $327 for parts. Be aware they only take checks or cash no credit or debit cards. Took about two days but overall it is a good and friendly Christian business.
Don is the kind of mechanic other mechanics should aspire to be. And goes above and beyond to help out. I’m just blown away by his help. Can’t tip my hat enough. Thank you for your help sir, it was not unappreciated.
Gave him a list of what we wanted done. The vehicle started just fine when we took it in. He did not do the work we asked. Only the tune up. Had the vehicle for two days. We brought it home. Now does not start. Took battery out and tested. All but dead. Put in new. Does not start. Needs new starter. Hopefully that will work. DO NOT use this repair shop!!!!
Been in many times and asked for simple help. Over-priced, never has time. Must hate new customers. All good. Ill quit trying and hope someone with a personality takes over some day soon.
Don's gives great service, at very reasonable prices. Oil changes, tire service, engine and other services, Don's can do just about anything. He is my go-to mechanic for everything.
We were told awhile ago they don't work on BMWs and we have seen 3 in there since then. Basically they judge you and if they feel like working on your stuff they do. ?
I've only called this company to ask for quotes. No one can answer your questions expect for Don. But Don is never there so no questions get answered ?♂️
Do not go here my mother was charged $1100 for a part that costed $20 and average price to change it was $300. She does not know anything about cars so they took advantage of that.!!!!DONT GO HERE!!!!
We’ve been taking our cars to Don’s Automotive for five years now. He is honest, fairly priced, and does excellent work. He has often done very minor work for free, when other mechanics would’ve charged. He has also given very honest advice, like “it’s time to replace your car”, or “I recommend this service, but not for another six months”. I am confident that he does when is best for the customer in the long run, not necessarily what is best for his business in the short term, and for that reason, I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone who’s looking for a mechanic in Berrien Springs.
To say that he's a Christian auto mechanic would be false advertising. He towed my friend's car when it was impounded. He charged her $250 for the tow, then charged her $40 a night to store the car. Money she did not have. When she was finally able to pay him the bill was almost $700...for NOTHING!
Trustworthy. My favorite part about this shop is that I actually feel like they are always honest. My only dislike is that they are not always very fast and one time they repaired a part that we did not want to pay to replace (a belt). They gave us a lifetime warranty on the product we did want replaced (the alternator) however because of the misunderstanding. I would recommend this shop.
