My wife's car had a transmission issue. I called Don at Global to have it towed there and check it out. He checked WHILE I was on the phone with him to see if the issue was covered under warranty, which didn't even occur to me. It was covered and he suggested I bring it a dealership and have it repaired under the warranty. Called dealership and all is taken care of. THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE AT IT'S FINEST He didn't have to do that. Need I say more about Global Transmission ? Honesty and reliable service. Thank you, Don for your help !

Worked with us and checked our transmission. Couldn't find it but the issue continued.

We had our truck back after just days, not weeks! It runs and shifts perfectly ATM, very happy with the service. Eta it's now Feb 2023 and our truck has been running perfectly since they fixed it! We sold this vehicle 2025 and still no issues with the transmission!

Great honest service. Brought my S2000 in for a possible front seal leak, was recommended by another shop. Ended up being a loose fill bolt from a recent service at a different shop. Received complementary diagnostic service and clean up of the undercarriage. I appreciate the honesty and will definitely return if I need work done in the future!

Don is amazing, very honest and very thorough. Him and his guys get the job done and are pretty quick with the turn around time. I would not hesitate to use this garage again and again!

Had them look at a small leak in my manual trans and after figuring out the small issue would require an insanely difficult and pricey fix, they recommended I don’t even get it fixed and just keep an eye on the fluid levels. I’ll only be charged a diagnostic fee. This kind of attitude is what I look for in a garage/shop.

I had my van towed to Globe Transmission about a month ago with a blown transmission. Don was very helpful throughout the process. He kept me updated daily on the repair, and gave an accurate and fair price from the beginning. Great service, and the van drives great. Highly recommend.

Globe Transmissions is great! Called about my car, explained what was going on. They said to bring it in asap. It was diagnosed the next day, and ready to go in a couple of days! Rebuilt the transmission, road tested, well done ! Will recommend them highly!

Globe was recommended to me by the shop where I do my inspections as my car was struggling to shift and would shudder badly on hills. I decided to bring it in before it failed completely, Don got me a good price and had it done in a couple of days. Unfortunately, after a few months it started acting up again and was having a bad flare into 3rd and 5th gears. I brought it in and they took care of it under their warranty, now it drives like a dream. I will definitely recommend a shop that stands behind their work.

Yesterday my transmission blew on my work truck. I called Globe, they towed my truck, fixed my transmission, and it was ready today before noon (day before Thanksgiving). As a business owner myself, I can't express enough how much I appreciate not only the quick work, but the great work Globe did. Hopefully I never have another transmission issue, but if I do, Globe is the only place for me!

Brought my truck in for what I thought was a bad trans. Bob, Don and Jim treated me respectfully and explained how they would diagnose the problem and wouldn't fix anything until they told me the issue and got my permission to go ahead. Turns out that it wasn't my trans., but an engine problem. They didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. Honesty and integrity go a long way with me. I would definitely recommend these guys and I will be back for a future project.

Was at a stop sign today and heard a big clang. My car wouldn't go forwards or backwards. I figured it was the transmission and I was expecting a costly repair. I was stuck in an unfamiliar town. After my tow from AAA, Don at Globe took great care of me. I described the problem and he got it up on a lift within an hour. Called me and told me I had a broken axel and he had parts on hand. Sent me pictures of the damage and was honest about the price. I asked him to fix it and he said he'd have it done in a few hours and he was a man of his word. Got my car back same day without an appointment and it's working great! I will be recommending them to anyone with a potential transmission issue. Thanks again Don!

Thanks to Don He helped me resolve an issue with a repair insurance company Through his persistence and knowledge he got the company to pay my claim . He went the extra mile when he didn’t have to . I am so glad I went there Thanks again Don and the crew .

Don was honest with me as they could not replicate the issues i was describing. Took the time to really try and find the problem but could not. Only charged me for labor. I felt this was fair.

Rude and incompetent people They are full of themselves and don’t treat customers well. So Bob the owner just called after reading my review and is upset that I left a negative review. He costed me tow money by telling me that I can get the truck towed there and he would look at it. I as a concerned small business owner called him to ask when I can expect a diagnosis and then he told me that he does not want to work in the truck and to get it towed out of there again. He hung up on me at that point. I WAS very happy in the past working with his shop and they had done good work and also referred 2 customers who used his services. SOMETHING changed in his attitude recently and after costing me $900 in tows and being rude to me and my employees I will make sure that NO ONE in my network EVER uses him again. He could have resolved this easily by being civil but something has changed in his attitude recently. He said small businesses should look out for each other and he is RIGHT, he was the first to break that respect for each other by falsely saying that he would look at it and having me tow it there. His money or a clients money are BOTH something that we put in hard work for. Also he states below in his response that I told him that other shops did not want to work on it BUT he fails to say that he recommended a shop that works only on sedans and personal vehicles not commercial vehicles and that is what I told him that they would not work on my truck as it is something they do not do. BOB ONLY wants to listen to himself talk and no one else. BBB complaint on the way.

Only had experience with Don. They should definitely have someone else to talk to the customers as he believes that people can read minds and have multiple vehicles. I spoke with him a week ago, and with my work and kids schedule, I was unable to get my truck in for diagnostics. I finally took the day off, waited for a tow truck all day, got it to their shop around 1:30 pm and he said I would have to leave it and they would get back to me when they have a chance. I wish they told me that their shop machine takes couple day's or I could've has a different shop look at it. I drove it to a different shop in Oxford in 2nd gear , and they're short a guy at the shop, but they said they could fit me in today. Js seems much better, more informative, they don't seem shady, and best of all, their diagnostics machine only takes a few moments. So they're able to help a single dad out who needs his vehicle. Not everyone has multiple vehicles like globe Don thinks. Update: I was told a few hours later by j's automotive that I needed a new transmission and that "since it was the 8 speed transmission, it would cost me about 8,000 with labor because the parts can't be ordered so I have to go through the dealership." After searching for a new transmission myself because 8,000 is too much, I realized that Don and Jay were both trying to rip me off. It is not even the 8 speed transmission. After running my Vin through the dealership, I was assured that it's the 6 speed transmission, which is much easier get and 1/3rd the price. So in conclusion, the other people who are leaving the reviews are friends and family, my money isn't as green as theirs, or ripping people off is standard practice. Do some research people before throwing your money away!

Amazing service. I was referred to Globe and was not disappointed. They even went out of their way to call Ford for me. Would highly recommend. Price is very fair especially for the level of care.

Love Bob awesome guy they do amazing quality work. I refer my customers transmission issues to him all the time for the past just about 20 years never any issues!!! Awesome 3 year unlimited miles warranty that they stand behind strongly only use genuine OE parts, awesome customer service as well as very friendly!! Bob and Don are fantastic. The error codes in my truck led them to replace certain components in my transmission. This turned out to not actually be the issue, so even though they spent hours doing the work, they never charged me a dime. After more extensive diagnostics, they were able to find the issue which was a couple of damaged wires. They repaired the wires and my truck is shifting properly again. I can’t thank them enough. It’s nice to find honest, competent mechanics. I was more than satisfied with their class, communication, and work. These guys are great!

If you need transmission work done, come here. There's a reason why he's been in buisness for a long time and all the good reviews. Don is very friendly and a pleasure to work with, made me feel comfortable spending my money there. I moved a while away but please give them your buisness if needed!!

He took time out of his schedule to diagnosis and find a recall and call the dealership and set me up with a contact there. I called these folks up gave them the information on my vehicle and they said they would get back to me ASAP. Within 5 minutes Don got back to me, needed more information. Called me back again within minutes and told me that the honest truth that this particular vehicles he was not able to service. I thanked him and thought it was over but when I hung up he called me back.. He wanted to know the mileage so he could see if I had an extended warranty on my vehicle so he called the manufacturer for me and gave me the results. It was not in my favor but for him to go that extra mile for me I have to say was above and beyond the service he did not have to do. He also recommended a place that could actually help me out. Thank you SO much for a great experience! Globe Transmission answered our phone call BEFORE opening hours. Our work truck broke down and they got us in immediately. Quickly assessed the damage and kept us informed during the entire repair. They even had it finished before the end of the day! The time they put in and the transparency on repairs really helped our peace of mind. HIGHLY recommend Globe Transmission and will definitely use them in the future.

They did an amazing job on our transmission. They really went above and beyond to make sure everything was fixed properly. They took care of us like they would take care of their family. They are great people. And they were fair on their pricing. They weren't trying to rip us off. Great People.
