Very disappointed in this place. Brought my car in for a few problems . One of them being a gas leak from my gas tank they told me it was an evac canister. So they replaced it and said I was all set. Only my engine light came back on a few days later. Never checked for a gas leak just assumed it was fixed. NOT ! Now they want $1500.00 to fix what I told them in the first place. No way I paid them $580.00 for nothing already. Thanks but No thanks . I will take it somewhere else!

I had a flat tire at the worst possible time, and Desmarais Auto Repair absolutely saved the day. From the moment I walked in, Jess at the front desk was friendly, helpful, and clearly knew her stuff. They didn’t try to upsell me or take advantage of the situation—in fact, they were super fair with pricing.
Even though they had to go pick up a new tire for me, I was back on the road in about an hour. I really appreciated how efficient, honest, and kind everyone was. I’d definitely recommend them and will be coming back if I ever need help again!

Great locally owned small business! I've been having them work on all my cars since the day the owner, Bill, opened it over 15 years ago when it was just him working there. They have done excellent work with my Honda, Hyundai, and Infiniti, as well as all the maintenance on my Audi, BMW, and Mercedes. Their employees are all very friendly and knowledgeable. The office manager, Jess, is incredibly helpful and seems to be as knowledgeable with cars as the five or six mechanics that the company has grown into. All their mechanics are extremely knowledgeable, so whether you need something major like a water pump, axle, or engine, or regular maintenance like an oil change, tires, or an all-wheel alignment. Bring your vehicle to Desmarais Auto in Rochdale; you can't go wrong!
I've been in the market for a local knowledgeable mechanic as mine had retired. An important person to me, who lives close by, suggested Desmarais, as they've had terrific experiences with them. I called for an appointment, thinking they'd be straight out with cars, but were able to take me when it was convenient to my schedule. I arrived an hour early, and they took me right in. Jess, the Operations Manager, was so pleasant and professionally courteous, it was quite honestly refreshing. They completed the service I asked for and noticed another issue. Bill, the owner, was very willing to discuss the problem, without any pressure or pretense. I'm grateful to have found such a location and am looking forward to going back for services again. I’ve been coming here for 10 years and there’s a reason for that. This is an honest, hard working and down to earth shop. They’ve always treated me with respect, and taken care of me and my cars at very reasonable pricing.
They tried to rip off my mom. They wanted $2000 to repair a hole in the radiator. Got a 2nd estimate at Kyle's Automotive in Spencer and they fixed it for $1000.
We only live a few houses up from Desmarias, so we thought it would be convenient because of 3 min walking distance. But unfortunately found out they are crooks trying to advantage of an elderly woman who does know any better.

My trusty old chevy started doing chevy things and decided it wanted new ball joints, control arms, wheel bearings, tires etc. Some trustworthy folks recommended this hidden gem to me, and I am absolutely ecstatic with the results. My truck was back to me on the same day it went in and is now driving the best it has since I've owned it. Finally my hunt for a quality local all around mechanic is over. From now on these will be my first phone call. They have more than proven their worth! Strongly strongly recommend!

Desmarais Auto Repair is everything I want in a mechanic. The mechanics are excellent at their jobs, take the time to be thorough. The front office lady is so smart and approachable. I didn't feel like I was annoying her or being rushed in any way. Scheduling was so easy with very reasonable time frames. This is the gold standard for auto repair shops. I only wish I tried them sooner! Very highly recommended.

Halfway to our vacation destination when our muffler started dragging on the ground. We pulled in hoping they could help us out. They took the truck in immediately and fixed the problem. Within a half hour we were back on our way. We can't thank them enough!

It is my pleasure to recommend Desmarais Auto Repair. Driving home in the pouring rain today I got a flat tire. I pulled into a parking lot across the street to try to change my tire and to my embarrassment my car fell off the small jack. Desmarais was in the process of closing and stopped an literally ran over with a jack to the rescue. They were very kind and polite. They stayed late repaired three holes in my tire and took the most care repairing my tire and making sure everything checked out and I was safely back on the road. It’s is very evident that they truly care and provide very honest and reasonable service. Thank you so much for bailing me out today!
Beyond pleased with the work here. Super fast, best price, extremely friendly and professional, nice clean waiting room, they went above and beyond in fixing my tie rod ends for inspection, when the inspection came back failed a second time they replaced the arm for the ball joint (which was causing play in the wheel) for free on the spot, and took me in to show me everything under the car and patiently explained how it worked and what was needed. They came highly recommended from an acquaintance who's gone to them for years, and will definitely be our go-to mechanic here on out.

Great place to get my car worked on. Didn’t pass emissions for 2 codes took my car here. They did a free check engine light diagnostic and told me the problem within 15 min. I brought it back a few days later and they fixed my check engine light within 2 hours and it was cheap. Honest mechanic.
As luck would have it my vehicle died right in front of this business. I went inside to speak with someone and without even finishing my story the boss, an attractive young lady named Jess, quickly summoned master mechanic Chuck who was able to fix the problem with my car in less than 5 minutes. That's some super hero type stuff folks! Another thing I liked is that it was clean inside the office and garage bays as well not to mention their repair prices are some of the best in the area! Next time my car dies, and it will, I'm headed to Desmarais!
The mechanics here have over 20 yrs experience here and it shows. Chuck replaced my front struts in one day and price was very fair at $200 under average price in Mass. Took my car here after being given the wrong diagnosis and repair at other local place. Very satisfied and will continue and recommend service at Desmaris!!
