I visited East Main Auto for the first time a few weeks ago after my car broke down in town. I was pleased with the service, cost, and ability to get my car repaired in such a timely manner.

Not just saying this - this is the best business I have ever dealt with - not just in automotive. Everyone here is so kind and knowledgeable. They will never try to make money off of you by selling you services or parts that you don’t need. Been coming here for over a decade and I’ve never had a bad experience

This past weekend my vehicle displayed ABS error alerts & STOP VEHICLE alert. I had the vehicle towed to East Main Street Automotive. I was contacted by Kenny & he informed me of the issue in detail & told me not to worry, that he will call when it was ready. I received a follow up call early the next day telling me that the vehicle was all ready to be picked up. The team at East Main st Automotive are honest , friendly & extremely knowledgable. This is the place to go!!! Thank you - Kenny - Rick - Wayne & Bill You guys are always willing & ready to help my family!!

The best mechanics I have used. I moved out of the area and used another mechanic who could not correct a problem with my brakes after three visits. East Main figured it out instantly and solved the problem. I will make the trip to use these guys every time. They can diagnose problems versus throw several parts at it to hope to solve it. In the end it gets done right and likely for less money since they are not guessing with extra parts.

I've used East Main for years and they have always been reliable and honest. They just checked out my new (used) car for potential issues and didn't charge a penny.

Left for work this morning only to find a down to the rim flat tire on my car! Panicked until a friend advised me to call East Main Automotive. I have been going to East Main for years. I have always trusted their work. Great local business

I used East Main for years with 2 cars; the 1993 Ford Crown Victoria they did a great job with at a fair price. However, my latest car, a used 2008 Ford Escape which I had recently purchased, was brought in for a checkup and a suspected transmission issue in June. I asked if there was any maintenance I could do to keep my vehicle operating smoothly. After my 'checkup', they told me it was fine and didn't have any transmission issues; they told me it wasn't shifting quickly because, "It wasn't a rocketship". Two months later, in August, I started having Power Train Throttle Control lights come on, took it into a different, recommended mechanic and found out my transmission had multiple pieces of metal in it and I needed a new transmission. The fluid had never been changed after 65,000 miles. I assumed that when I brought my vehicle in with a transmission complaint, the least East Main Auto would do was check the fluid. Appearantly, they did not, I'm not sure what they did to the car but they didn't even do a thorough checkup. When my new mechanic did a checkup, he found old, leaking hoses, spark plugs that needed changing and saw my car didn't even have a cabin filter. I trusted East Main to care about what was under the hood of my car and I do not believe they even looked at it when they gave it back to me. I would not use East Main Auto again, I do not feel they are a mechanic shop that thoroughly cares about the safety and longevity of their customer's vehicles.

What took me so long to write a stellar review for East Main Auto??!! I have taken our vehicles to Ken, Rick and all the talented mechanics for over 20 years! Special shout-out to Wayne who always does his best to accommodate my schedule and everyone else's schedules. I know they have kept my vehicles running longer than if I would have taken them anywhere else. For example, I am driving a 2003 Hyundai Elantra with almost 170,000 miles. Just had it serviced, and I think it has a couple more good years in it. Most importantly, these guys have been honest with me. When my husband's Chevy Blazer was done - they called it -without letting us sink more money into it. Yes, i would give them more stars if I could!!

They immediately diagnosed and fixed an engine problem a few other garages couldn't.

I am from out of state and went to East Main to get some new tires mounted and balanced. They were very polite and easy to work with. They allowed me to ship tires to them from an online reseller. I then swung by without an appointment and they mounted them for me. They also gave me a complimentary car wash. Just to be transparent, it's not a spotless hand wash. I still had some salt and dirt from the rough winter; but a free car wash is a free car wash. Much appreciated. They have a nice waiting room with couches and free coffee. I would definitely recommend it based on my experience.
