Wanted to give Matti, Dawn, Amy, Josh and Chris the biggest shout out ever. was in a terrible accident this weekend and they were nothing short of amazing. I dealt with chris the day after my accident when i had to clean some thing out of my car, he was so kind and so sweet. two days later i came back to really clean it out to get it checked by insurance and Matti, Josh and Dawn were so helpful. Josh pulled my car all they way out for me to get in and Matti and Dawn made the biggest effort and called the driver from that night to find out if we could get what was in the road that night (no luck unfortunately) and i was so grateful. Also i have to give Amy all the love in the world. amazing team. thank you guys so so much ❤️

The front desk and billing "department" got no idea how to operate. I paid off my car, took my receipt and took my car away. then two months, I was mailed with a new invoice asking for more than the double I've paid. I asked to see the car they claim to have in their yard and they answered with all confidence "sure". to only realize they can't keep track of their own storage nor their billings. and apparently have real difficulty to have the decency to apologize for their mistakes.

Do not use this company, they are rude! Bad costumer service. They will also prolong everything to TAKE YOUR MONEY!!

I bet these folks get a lot of bad reviews simply because of the nature of the towing business but they're just doing their jobs. People were nice, process was quick and easy. It would have been nice to use a form of payment other than the ATM with a $200 limit and a $5 surcharge but a hustlers gotta hustle. I don't hate the player, I hate the game. Overall a far less painful experience than I've had with other tow companies.

Locked my keys in my car. Called Direnzo after being frustrated with Triple A and their phone prompts, someone answered on the second ring and they showed up in less than 20 minutes! Was back in my car and on my way home faster than I thought possible! Super friendly and fast service!

Car was towed, they said the window did not go up because low voltage, so to cover the window they use a piece of plastic and charged my daughter $179 dollars to cover it, when I asked about it all I got was we don’t know. Great job direnzo keeps roping people off

This company hires hot-headed, angry people to represent their business. An employee in a Direnzo pickup truck on Sunderland Rd in Worcester between 10:45 AM - 11:00 AM 06/19/2025 made an unsafe turn into the road. He then proceeded to stop/block the entire road and yell/swear at the line of cars behind him with his middle finger out the window. He was not provoked at all, maybe reacting to his embarrassment with anger. Clearly this business does not care about customer service, or human decency at all. Previous encounters with this company were not at all pleasant.

Thieving, stealing, and lying is a Motto for this company as the name suggests. Towed my mother's car. Then gave us the run around when we tried to retrieve my mom's personal belongings. First they said the car was there on their property when in reality they were already stripping it for parts. If I ever get stuck I'd rather leave my vehicle on the road. Next best thing is to call AAA that way you can ride in the truck with the tow driver. Never ever deal with these thieves! ever! Oh, and they also told my mother that the vehicle she drove for nearly 2 years doesn't exist! Yes! You heard me right! They said the manufacturer does not make a car like that! Worst customer service, super rude people. They make it seem like they are doing you a favor after stealing your stuff! They don't even deserve one star for the service, but had to give them one to leave a review. These thugs have no shame in their criminal activities committed against average everyday people.

Called to get a trailer moved. They charged me from time of call. Even though per their paperwork and phone call was an hour later. I paid for an extra hour that they were not on their way or return to their business. Check what you are charged. Seeing where this is a local company, wish they could do better, and honest.

Big thank you to Derezos who got us back on the road after blowing a truck tire on 495 S. Thank you, Joe for following me almost home to make sure we were ok. You are one awesome dude!! Horses and truck and trailer made it home ok! You rock!! Jane

I don’t even know where to start, but this message is directed at the owner, John Direnzo Jr. Based on how your employees, Terry and Michelle, run your business, I have a pretty good idea of the type of operation you’re running. Attached is the invoice I received at the time of pick-up. Numerous one-star reviews already highlight the hidden fees your company charges, and I experienced the same. When I questioned Terry about them, his only response was, “It’s policy,” or “You can speak to my manager.” That manager, Michelle, wasn’t any better—she repeated the same scripted answer. The best part? This so-called “policy” is nowhere to be found—not on your website, not in your office. Apparently, only a supervisor above Michelle has access to it, but conveniently, one wasn’t available when I picked up my vehicle. Now, let’s talk about the math—or lack thereof. On Friday, I called to confirm the total and was told it was $327. By Tuesday, when I arrived to pick up my car, the amount had jumped to $537.78—yet at no point did anyone mention a daily storage fee. Why? because that would have encouraged me to retrieve my car sooner. Again, none of these fees are publicly listed, nor can they be confirmed over the phone. One particularly ridiculous charge was the $35 “admin fee,” which Terry described as a “letter fee” for mailing me a notice that my car was at their facility. The irony? The towing company already provided me with a business card stating precisely that. When I confronted Terry about it, he suddenly “forgot” to include that $35 fee in my total—right after telling me it was part of the admin charge. That missing fee conveniently made up the difference between $502.78 (what the invoice adds up to) and the $537.78 they charged me. This facility lacks transparency, common sense, and professionalism. The employees seem to have the fee structure memorized purely because they know they can hold your car, hostage, until you pay whatever they demand. To the owner: If my assumptions about you are correct, spare us both the headache, and don’t bother responding. However, if I’m wrong—and I haven’t been throughout this entire transaction—a response would be appreciated.

We make an appointment to have a car towed to a mechanic, they're more than happy to make an appointment with you. Half hour late, my wife calls the company and they said they already talked to me. Flat out lie, never called, never said they weren't coming. The staff on the phone was incredibly rude to her. I'd give this company zero stars if I could, will happily take my business elsewhere to people who don't lie, aren't rude, and honor their word.

Guy at the desk was chill but there are tons of hidden fees making it the most expensive car tow I've ever had and they don't tell you that you must pay in cash, that way you can rack up 10 to 15 more dollars with the ATM fee

had my car stolen. Dealing with insurance nonsense for over a month. Got a phone call from police - my car recovered. It’s at Direnzo tow. Very next day I go there in person, after knowing the want “cash only” I’ve got some cash, its a 21 century guys, Business doesn’t run on cash. Ok I can understand that. You want it I got you ! So I’m at the place and I want to pay upfront and arrange tow, so my vehicle will be released and tow truck driver can pick it up with no hustle/stress/issues. Reason why I want someone else - basic math. 420$ or 170$. Why should I give you guys extra 250$? Next objection “YOU Have to pay upon picking up your car”. OK there. I know it is inconvenient for me but I’m making arrangements and getting tow truck driver with some cash. The day truck driver comes over I’m finding out that I need to be there to sign release form. It is 1 hour away from my office, I’ve spent 2h 1 day and you want me to spend another 2h. I’m just heading over there to sign release form and pay. Now - my copy of the title is not good enough. I have my license on me, have a tow truck with driver waiting for the car. Just total ignorance all over. Over the phone I ask you guys nicely how can we get it done remotely ? Can I pay with Zelle, check, credit card authorization- anything? NO only cash, no only in person. My car had one window broken, 89$ you charge to put a piece of plastic and tape. Seriously? Total bill 293.35$ after 1 day storage… hmm OK. I gave 300$ cash, haven’t received a change, I don’t care about that change. But received a letter that was sent on the next day after I pick the car up that I owe you guys 350$ that includes 25$ for that mail… you sent it in 1/31 I’ve pick up and paid for my car on 1/30. Could you avoid 1 star review- 100%. Yes, just little bit more cooperation. We could do a lot online. Just send me form for release and take my payment with cc or any other type of payment.

They were incredibly helpful, polite, and timely. They showed up in less than half an hour and safely brought my vehicle where it needed to go. I will be using them in the future if ever needed.

The tow truck driver, Nathan Katinas did a great job! Towed my friends truck for us while we were stranded on the side of the highway! Such a great guy to talk to and did an awesome job getting us off the highway safely! Definitely recommend Direnzo! Nathan I hope you see this! You did a great job, thank you!

My son was in a car accident, driving my vehicle. My insurance company was being very shady and was not responding to DirenzoDispatch for an attempt for collection of vehicle but also payment. Luckily for me, Michele and her team regularly documented communication with me. The insurance company told me since I never signed over my vehicle (done next day following crash), that it was my responsibility to retrieve the car and pay for storage after unknowingly being stored at Direnzo for nearly three months! Direnzo not only provided proof I needed, but even went out of their way after my claim had been wrongfully closed, to assist me with this terrible agency. Lesson learned: Document everything and don’t let your insurance company scam you.

They charged me 2 days storage because they couldn't find the registration. Car was driven by my 19 year old son and had the reg in the seat pocket. I directed them to where registration was, they brought reg into dispatch and when they towed the car they didn't put the reg back in the car so I had to drive out to dispatch center to get it. Told me they would call me when car was being towed to my garage, no call and when I drove by my garage the car was finally there. MSP had called them for the tow they were not my choice and I would not recommend. Poor communication and very unorganized.

Very helpful over the phone. Courteous and kind. When I arrived to pay them and get my car, all paperwork was finished, I paid them and they had a driver get my car and pull it up front for me to drive away.

Slow horrible service can hear employees personal conversations. Been here over 30 mins waiting for tow truck driver to give paperwork but yet a release amount was given. Where’s my car and why is no one working?

I have a newer “smart” car and I left my fob inside my vehicle while I grabbed a preorder at a fast foot restaurant. When I came back I was completely locked out of my car while it was running and the key was inside. For whatever reason, I was not able to get inside. I was on a time crunch because my daughter had a cheer competition at the DCU center and her uniform was inside my running, locked, vehicle. We called Direnzo towing and they were on scene within 15 minutes!!! The amount of relief I had would never compare. You saved our day. And my daughter placed SUPERIOR! Thank you so much!

Having to get towed is usually a stressful experience but that was not my experience. Nathan from Direnzo was amazing and made a challenging situation a lot easier for me. He was not only efficient but friendly. He made sure I had all the information I needed and his calm and friendly demeanor made the entire situation less stressful. I highly recommend using Direnzo and Nathan!

Out of many 24-hour shops, this was the one that could help. They actually are 24 hours and helped with a slightly unique vehicle. Much appreciated the help. They were able to tow a truck that was over 10', 60 miles to our location, drop our product, and then over to the shop. They made my job easy.

Shout out to the guy who towed us from Millbury to Quincy at 3am on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. This was one of the worst nights of my life and getting our car towed this stupid distance, followed by a ride home, made a big difference in helping me not completely lose my mind.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of requiring the services of Direnzo Towing & Recovery, and I must strongly caution against doing business with this company. If you find yourself in need of towing assistance, I implore you to call someone else. My interaction with them left me feeling deceived and taken advantage of. The problems began right from the initial phone call. Whatever price they quote you over the phone, I advise you to add a significant buffer of $300 to $500 on top of it. Initially, they informed me that it would cost $125 for their team to show up, which seemed reasonable. However, the deceit started when they billed me. Instead of the promised $100 after the initial fee, they charged an exorbitant $125 for every hour they were on the job. This blatant discrepancy in pricing is not only unfair but also a clear attempt to mislead and overcharge their customers. Adding insult to injury, Direnzo Towing & Recovery conveniently omitted any mention of fuel charges during our initial conversation, only to surprise me with an additional fee on the final bill. This omission is both dishonest and unprofessional, as it drastically alters the cost expectations for their service. But the deceptions didn't stop there. They also attempted to tack on a $25 credit card "processing fee" when it came time to settle the bill. This fee is not only unwarranted but also a clear indication of their willingness to engage in questionable business practices. While I can't fault their drivers, who were indeed polite and professional, it's the management and administration of this company that raises significant concerns. The experience I had with Direnzo Towing & Recovery left me feeling like I had been scammed and taken advantage of by a business that prioritizes profit over transparency and customer satisfaction. In conclusion, I strongly advise against doing business with Direnzo Towing & Recovery. The hidden costs, misleading pricing, undisclosed fees, and attempts to overcharge customers with credit card processing fees paint a clear picture of a company that lacks integrity and honesty in its operations. Spare yourself the headache and financial burden by seeking assistance from a more reputable and transparent towing service.

If you get towed here good luck. DO NOT voluntarily use this company. If you have the misfortune of breaking down in Millbury, they wont let you have your vehicle towed to the garage you want. It goes here with an immediate storage charge. Horrible to deal with as well, unfriendly and rude.

DO NOT WORK WITH THEM!!! Those guys will steal all money from you, scammers. They’ll charge you $850 per gallon of fuel they had to use to tow you, unreasonable extremely high service prices, doing all business only by email, they won’t tell you anything over the phone. Avoid having any kind of business with this guys if you can
