We purchased a used rear differential for a 2016 Mazda CX-3 from Henry’s Auto Parts for $760. It came with a 3-month warranty, and we were told it had been tested and was in good working condition.
However, once we received the part, we discovered it had an internal issue with the bearing sleeve. We contacted Henry’s and explained the issue—they were polite and offered a full refund if we returned the part. Unfortunately, we had already been waiting nearly 2 weeks from the time we placed the order, and we couldn’t afford more downtime. So, we decided to open the differential ourselves and replace the damaged internal component using a part from our original unit.
The part works now, but we had to put in extra time and labor to make it right. We're not asking for a full refund, but a partial refund would be fair given the situation.
The staff was respectful and responsive overall, and the yard is well organized. Just keep in mind that "tested" doesn't always mean trouble-free—double-check internals right away if you're on a tight timeline.
i dont get these reviews ? i just left there guy behind counter at the pull ya self checkout was kool easy going and was cheap to buy here than new from store ....smooth transaction thank u henrys for a good experience!!!!! A++++++++++ ill be back! needed a plastic part for rear window had a torch but they wont let ya use that so i had to pry it without breaking it wasnt easy but took a while but it came off thats the only thing i didnt like but i dont blame them they dont want any accidents or fires !!
Been going to this yard for probably close to 18 years now. Its not the largest yard, but it has decent selection for a pull-it-yourself yard, good prices, and friendly staff.
Heard good things, guess I was wrong. Would not bother with this place, We drove an hour and some for them to close an hour early and turn me away. Will not be recommending this place to anyone.
Bad customer service I was charged 350.00 for some part I payed 350 never received the part after I sent the 350 3 days latter they told me I need to send 150 so they can deliver, if that was the case they should've told me that at the beginning smh loss 350$
Deceptive shipping prices and then on top of that only ship to the address on your drivers license... if you're afraid of chargebacks just use zelle cashapp or even crypto outdated yard entirely, the reviews are fitting

Contacted them thru messenger, agreed on a price for an item, payed thru paypal, then they wanted more money because thier shipping cost went up, then they said I had to order more items for them to even ship anything!! Said they would do a return, didnt happen, then they said they would process return Monday (today) never happened, and now won't return messages!! SCAM OPERATION!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!
"Word game" employees who don't want to be courteous or responsible, refusing to quote an exact price for parts; then quoting a price and changing it.
Impossible to trust this place. They want u to do the work of removing part(s) from junked autos in their yard WITHOUT knowing in advance What the Part(s) Will Cost.
I’ve noticed that when they upload their inventory on Row52 for the self serve lot, many times those cars are on the full service lot for a lot more money. Kind of feels deceptive and I don’t really know what’s available in the self serve lot. So I end up not coming here as much. They’re always nice here but just makes it better for me to go elsewhere most times.
If you wanna get dirty and pull your own parts it's alot of fun and can get what u need most of the time. (Bring a tarp to lay on!) I spent an hour picking apart a car and left with all types of goodies, prices are good. Next door they already have it pulled if that's your thing.
Awesome. The guys there were very nice and professional. They looked up the vehicle needed and pointed my in the right direction so I didn't have to waste time. Very happy and will go again when I'm in need. Thanks guys!!
Great service, helpful staff this is the place to go for your used auto parts and auto salvage needs. You can pick your own parts or they will do it for you.
They have an inventory of many older classic cars including Volvos!
I've been going here since I was 15 Im 36 now. Place usually has what I need. Thier self pull yard is cheaper than the others an do not charge a core Fee. I been in the auto business for years and Henry's is my first go to place for a part I cant find or something I need used. They offer self service or full service hint tho you save a lot of $ on pulling your own parts. Only down side is if you need to go under the car good luck they font have any of them lifted of the ground your on your own.
Waited almost a month for a call back from the shop. The first time, they gave us the wrong wheel barring and then managed to get a f$@king broken one the second time. Wouldn’t recommend for myself go to any auto shop at your own time risk.
Lot of cars but did not have what I was looking for. The 2 people at the counter were staring me down because I had a hoodie on (due to social anxiety) and a mask. Made me feel uncomfortable and the way they talked to me made me feel disrespected and unwanted there. They were rude and almost denied entry due to my out of state I.D and not being able to see my face. Will not be going back. The amount of cars there is not worth feeling disrespected, feeling put down, feeling sketched out, and feeling like you don't belong there and are unwanted. First time customer and it will be my last time.
Best Used Parts Place On Earth. I'm from the Bronx,Ny And Can't Find Parts In Hunts Point Like I can Find Here. Needed A Brake Pump for My LX470 Called Everywhere Even the Bronx Thinking of course there will have it. Only Henry's Had It $1275 although it was worth it with Warranty... Sine then I been buying Parts for all my Cars. Love this Place People are very Professional too. Keep doing a Great Job.
Why is it that every time I visit a facility like this, I meet up with people who don't smile or don't seem to be happy with their job. Sorry, but that's the impression I get. And I've been to 4 or 5 recently looking for a part. Still no success finding what I need.
Highly recommend! Had just what I needed with warranty! The guys were super nice and helped above and beyond. Need anything, I'm sure they've got it! My new go-to for anything I need for my vehicle :) ....why buy new when perfectly good parts are available! Saves the environment, too! Well done!
Henry's will always be my first choice in used auto parts after the incredibly professional and reliable first experience I had with them. Their prices are fair, they stand by their products, and they are genuinely a pleasure to deal with - which I have never been able to say for any other auto parts/salvage yard I have done business with. Whether they are across town or across the country from you, Henry's is a choice you can't go wrong with.
A good variety of cars. The cars all sit on the ground, as opposed to pick-n-pull where they are raised to provide undercarriage access. Not as organized, but pirces are reasonable. The easiest part is check out, with a walk through on the side of the building. Unfortunately, no pictures posted to row52.
Searched through their online database for the part I needed. The database said my part was available. It had two part prices listed. The price to pull it yourself or have someone pull it for you. Upon arriving it was brought to my attention that my part was already pulled and was available at a low price. Speed of service was decent. Staff could be a tad friendlier. Parking spaces are more than adequate.
I went last year and the had 3 santa fe's, this year those 3 are gone and they have 2 new ones. Pretty happy with the refresh rate, i find 80% of what i come for and always leave with accessories i was not planning on, but found. Not a single complaint.
Cant believe these guys grow so big with this kind of service!!! Two times i have used them to get some parts and Always called ahead to find out if the part is off the car or still on the vehicle just to find out upon arrival that I had to come back the next day because by mistake it is still on the car and not on the shelf... And it happened two times to me. Service guys are no help at all!
The only good about this place is that they have a huge yard where you can pull the stuff by yourself.
