My Subaru is getting up there in age and miles. But he always knows how to keep her running like I just got her. Had a transmission leak and my heat shields were busted and I was able to get everything fixed in my appointment. This is the only place I’m going to take my car. Back on the road running beautifully. Thank you!

If you own a Subaru, then this is the place you want to bring your prized possession. Absolutely fair. Always upfront. He'll work with you if you need it done in a rush. Always gives you the best option based on your situation and his expertise. Whether brand new or 30 years old, all Subaru models get extra special care.
This is the first time I have ever written a review. I am self employed and tend not to comment on other self employed individuals because I know that customers can be difficult when they don't understand the work process or the fact that some things are beyond a persons control. However, I now have been involved with two cars that have received a head gasket job at The Car Works and both have failed miserably. The job requires meticulous work. The heads absolutely need to be cleaned, trued and checked by a machine shop. This is not an option and was not done on either of the cars that I have been involved with. On the second car, the head bolts were loose and had damaged threads in the block. Both cars lasted less than ten thousand miles and need the job redone. My 06 Forester failed immediately and he tried a second time , which also failed. There is a kit that is sold for the job that includes the water pump, hydraulic belt tensioner, umbrella seals for the spark plugs, pulley wheels, gears and a complete gasket set. The complete job is required for success and a good life for the motor. On both cars the job was shorted. Why? I have been doing my own mechanics on my Chevy trucks for over thirty years with great success. Unfortunately. some Subaru many mechanics seem to operate on some knowledge and a lot of arrogance. His last statement to me still rings in my ears. He said, " it is obvious that you don't trust me. Why don't you just take your car and go".
Hell of a guy. He has fixed my Subaru's for a couple decades. I even bought 2 cars from him, A Legacy Wagon & a Mazda Miata. No regrets on those purchases or all the repairs he has made for me. I'm in FL now, so don't go to him anymore. But highly recommend him!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have used Dana to repair many of my Subarus for many years. I would strongly recommend you consider his quotation for service and compare it to any dealership. I have saved thousands of dollars over the years. You will not be disappointed.
I had multiple other locations quote me at nearly $1,551.00 for parts and labor. These wonderful people cut that price in half and were completely upfront with me. OEM and everything.
Honest. Fair. Good Prices. We have 18 Subaru's in the family. Some from here. (Sometimes he has used cars for sale) We have asked him to find us cars, and he either got them at an auction, or found where it was being sold. His estimates are correct. His advice is priceless. Several of our cars have 300+K. The man does great work.
