Called for a quote on mounting tires and was met with immediate rudeness. The person on the phone insulted my choice of tire brand saying I bought the worse possible tires available and quoted a price significantly higher than other local shops. I took my business elsewhere and received much better service and a fair price. Save yourself the headache and call someone else
Warren truck and auto is the best shop around very honest people and quick. Me and my family have been going to them for quite some time now and they never once let me down when it comes to the junk I buy he’ll be honest about if things are worth fixing. I trust them with anything I’ve brought down there.
Service has gone downhill over the past few years. Told Brian about a check engine light I needed to be fixed, he found the issue and told me it would be $500 to repair. Go to pick up the car and all the sudden it is $750. I get sometimes things come up and it may be more, but increasing the quote by 50% the common courtesy is giving a phone call to the customer to let them know instead of blindsiding them. He overcharged us, as apparently we had an oil filter housing problem, and then he charged us for an oil change as well, which comes with an oil filter housing replacement. We pay it anyways and get the car back, the check engine light is still on but he says it will go away. We wait a couple weeks, doesn’t go away, car on limp mode. We then bring it in a second time. He says he fixed it. Very next day light comes back on. Tell him about it again, he says he’s gonna actually fix it. Third time now, which takes time out of work schedules, rescheduling doctors appointments just for him to do a job correctly after THREE times. Got my car back Tuesday, just for the engine light to come back on today (Thursday.) The place went from a reliable mechanic shop to an absolute joke, we paid over $700 for shoddy work that will need to be repaired at an actual mechanic shop. Spoke to several people about it and apparently we aren’t the only ones who are no longer going to him for the same issues I have.
My review was posted 6 months ago and my partner just received a message from Brian’s partner angry about my review. The level of unprofessionalism is shocking. There was no “help.” He over charged us, didn’t fix the problem, and had us go out of our way multiple times just to waste our time and not fix the issue. Instead of messaging customers who are unsatisfied, practice some self reflection and do some actual customer service. I left this review after multiple issues with this repair shop- we have brought 3 cars over there and have been overcharged and issues weren’t fixed. We were kind enough to not post a review and speak about the issues to the owner until this incident. We stopped going there and have had no problems with our current shop. I’d recommend going any place else unless you want your time and money wasted.
Great service & great mechanics. Warren truck & auto have always gotten my vehicles in right away and has them fix even faster, with the best pricing around.
Would recommend to anyone. Very reasonable prices. Quick and good work. I was caught in a pickle of an emergency and these guys got it done. Go here for whatever you need!
Fairly new to Warren, MA. and I needed repair work on my 2006 Chevy truck. My first experience with Warren Truck and Auto Repair was excellent. Brian was honest, truthful, and to the point. The problem was diagnosed and the full cost of the work was given before the work was started. The work was completed quickly and the cost was very reasonable. Fine folks made sure my moms van was good to go on a long trip. And then when all was well and done, followed up the next day to make sure there was no issues on her trip!
Ran into an issue while we were out in Warren mass today! We came all the way from Springfield mo to pick up a truck had some issues on our semi with no semi shops around that were close enough for us to make it to ? THANKFULLY warrens told us to come on over and helped us get the tire off and get us back on the road ?? we greatly appreciated y’all’s hospitality!! ??
Prompt response and quick fix on the spot. Prices are decent I guess. I was offered all 4 rotors, breaks and a caliper to be installed for 380.00 luckily I posted on Wares town page and found a mechanic that is doing the job plus the other caliper, for $200!! Not knocking this business at all. They treated us decently. The only minor thing that bothered me a tad was when I’d decided I’d have to wait to do the work and the owner kept repeating himself in a condescending manner when the employee would let him know other things I needed done on the vehicle. He’d say “just get it out of here, get it out of here” every time. A simple “ok thanks but she’s all set now.” Would’ve been better lol
I've brought multiple trucks to Brian over the years. Being a business owner that needs his trucks up and running, having a local, dependable mechanic is key. Brian is very knowledgeable, my trucks are always fixed quickly, and you can't beat the customer service!! I would highly recommend them!!!
Best mechanic I know! Finding a mechanic you can trust is very important and I fully trust Warren Truck & Auto. They have always been there for me, and I currently drive about 30 mins away just to get to them. Wonderful people, wonderful work, and their prices are very fair.
My entire family and I go here and we would never consider going anywhere else. They are always happy and friendly and don't charge you an arm and a leg. Brian treats you like family. And is always trying to work around your scedual as best as he can.
Hard to find a good, honest mechanic shop much anymore, but look no further. Not just that, but the owner is friendly. Trust this guy he is reasonably priced, good, and stands behind his work!
My son has special needs and was treated with the utmost respect. Including making sure that he wanted to spend money on his classic truck. My mechanic now for all my vehicles, young and old.
