1000 more than the estimate and did not tell us that before doing the job. STAY FAR AWAY. I waited 20 mins in the lobby before I had to call to get someone to come over. Horrible rude people I will definitely never be back
I had always felt great coming here, however, I had 2 occurrences recently that have ruined my trust. First, I needed air in my tire bc it was leaking. They could only fix it with a new tire plug I was told was $105.00. I did not get that bc I could get a new tire for close to that amount. Once I picked up my car I was told that they actually have $45 ones too. I didn't get them. I got home and saw a huge slice/chunk on the side of the tire in question. No one there mentioned that to me. I text a pic and they assured me that isn't why it was leaking but for safety they'd order me a new tire. Which I declined. I also had an oil change done there the last several years, the last one about 3 months ago. My windshield fluid ran empty and when I was refilling it I saw my engine cover had a new large crack they never let me know about when they cracked it. I also never received a receipt when they changed my headlights at the same time they checked my tire. Shady shady and disappointing. I ended up buying 2 new Good Year front tires with extended warranties and getting an alignment at another shop for $398.00.
We were visiting Hull when our starter went out. This team diagnosed us quickly and correctly, quoted a price they stuck to, and worked fast to get us fixed up same day. We were in good hands and they really changed the trajectory of our week by going the extra mile to help us out same day. Thank you!
First and foremost best customer service ! Needed new tires and Chandler helped me right away and got me back on the road! Customer service was 10/10 they made sure I was good to go on the road would definitely recommend to anyone ! Only place I would trust my vehicle with is hull auto repair with no hesitation !
Did not complete the job. Went in for check engine light. They said it was a crankshaft, while ignoring another code for camshaft (both codes were on the OBD2 originally. When I got the car back the check engine light was on and so they said they would repair the camshaft. After day 2 of them holding my car, when I went to go pick it up, the check engine light was still on. Fatima said that they didn't have time to scan it again and wanted to hold my car for the third day. They have already been paid for work that I cannot confirm is done. It would be noted that my OBD2 still has one of the original codes from before they "fixed" it. And there are new codes as well. This does not seem to be a professional operation.
I went in to have two tires mounted and installed on my vehicle after they quoted a fairly reasonable price. I was just notified that they had trouble removing one tire (and they didn't bother with the other), so they are not changing either tire and they have the gall to charge me $75 for the failed attempt to remove the first tire. Ridiculous.
About two months ago , I went in to get an oil change and schedule a pretty sizable job consisting of a complete front strut and shock replacement. The mechanic that did the oil change and estimated the strut and shock job was great. I was told the struts were ordered and would be contacted when they came in. I called a couple times in the following week and was told by the owner “they have no arrived yet , but I promise I will call when they arrive.” It has been almost two months and I never received a call. I guess they did not need the $2,000 the job was going to require. Hard to recommend.
The absolute best! Outstanding service! They are friendly and honest, and their customer service is wonderful. The owner Fatima is great ! Chandler who has worked with my car is the best. If I could give 10 stars I would.
I cannot say enough about how amazing this shop is. I needed an oil change last minute on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend and they easily fit me in and could finish the same afternoon. When I got there I mentioned some concerns in my car and asked if they could take a look as I had a long road trip in a few days. They found both my rear and front breaks needed to be replaced. They kept my car overnight and by 11am the next morning (again a Saturday on a holiday weekend) my car was ready to go and the price was extremely reasonable!!! I will be using them for ALL my car needs and telling everyone to come here. The workers and the owners are some of the most genuine and kind people I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I wish I could give higher than 5 stars!
Recently moved to Hull and highly recommend! Went for an inspection sticker and they found a few issues but were able to save me some money which was great. Very flexible with work schedules and everyone is so nice!
Deplorable insulting rude customer service!!!!
Employee named Alfonso berated me for parking across their driveway. I was parked there at 730am Saturday morning to get an inspection sticker. He yelled at me for blocking their entrance to their customers!!! I told him I am a customer and I am also a neighbor as I live nearby.
He realized what he said to me and offered to pay for my inspection sticker. I refused his offer and told him off with some colorful language. Later in the morning I spoke to Fatima the co owner and explained what happened. She also apologized and offered a free oil change.
I accepted her apology and explained if Alfonso is the face of her business, she needs to fire him. Absolutely unacceptable rude berating behavior to a customer and neighbor. I will never ever do business with Hull Auto Repair.
Went and had engine work done and they had to do an oil change (understandable) everything was fine until I went to do my own oil change like I always have, but to my surprise I couldn’t get the oil drain plug off broke my ratchet and started to shear the plug. The plug was over tightened took it back to the garage, they got the plug off but it was done for since they had to take the plug out they had to do the oil change there and get a new plug put on. They charged me $95 to get the oil change and new plug even though it’s their fault that I had too have it done in the first place. And now I’m also out a ratchet.
Went for inspection sticker December and got one that lasted until February… went back to correct it but waited 20+ mins, no one picks up phone and was told wasn’t their problem essentially. Just wanted a 12 month inspection sticker.
Excellent service, I had a slow leak in my tire. I called and they had me all done in 15 minutes! And the mechanic advised me that my tire had dry rot. Did not push me into purchasing tires at the time, which I thought was very nice. I recommend them highly, also I get my sticker there every year. Great customer service.
Nice knowledgeable employees/owners, I didn't have an appointment but they took my vehicle inside the garage quickly while I waited outside because it was a nice day. The service was quick, thorough and they gave me a couple of suggestions on where to buy tires or that they could get tires for me if i wanted. Everything went well my truck passed the vehicle inspection and I recieved my sticker. The cost was good & comparable to similar places. I might have been there for only 15-20 mins approximately! This place is a local owned business and it is a very convenient place for me to go to for most or all of my vehicle needs. I would recommend to anyone plus I will return to them again in the future for whatever comes up next...Thank you Hull Auto Repair!
We have used Fatima and her team at Hull Auto Repair multiple times for both of our vehicles. Their customer service is impeccable. They are always responsive and upfront when it comes to cost and timing for work that needs to be done. If Fatima and the team are not able to do a certain type of work, she always has suggestions for how to fix the problem. Highly recommend!

I have been using Hull Auto Repair for about two years now, and they have always been at the top of their game!!! Fatima handles the front office of the business, and she is always just so pleasant and easy to interact with. Their prices are very fair, they accommodate last minute appointments without hassle, and the car is always done on time, if not early. IMO, all mechanics struggle with getting repairs done on time (even the "good guys"), it's just the nature of the business, but Fatima and her family do a great job of getting the cars in and out quickly...without sacrificing quality! Thank you guys, please don't stop doing what you're doing!!!
PS - On two separate occasions, I was not charged AT ALL for small services that they performed, including today!
I called for availability for an oil change, I was given an opening within 15 minutes. As soon as I pulled up I was greeted outside by the front office staff and told to pull inside. Customer service was phenomenal, they were both courteous and upfront with anything conducted on the car.
I called several shops prior to this and it was as if I was bothering them to ask for an appointment or time to come in. I would drive out of my way to return to Hull Auto Repair!
Family owned and a high sense of pride and professionalism in the shop! Outstanding job I will be back and would recommend Hull Auto Repair to anyone.
They gave me one estimate for detailing, and then doubled it when done. I refused to pay the higher price. These people will take advantage of you if they can. The ride to and from my house was nice, but at what cost?
Had an emergency driving around Hull just as this new business was opening. I took a chance and drove there on a Sunday. Josef was there and very responsive (my exhaust system was falling down). He was able to tie it up temporarily and I returned on Monday for it to be fixed. They did a wonderful job. Now my husband and I are customers and have been back for various things, including an inspection. So happy this new business is in Town.
