This is the best mechanic. I’ve been using him for many years now. Jim has always taken care of my vehicles effectively, efficiently, and with generous pricing as well. After moving away from the area, I now travel 45 minutes to bring all of my cars and vans over to him, because it’s entirely worth it. I can’t recommend him enough!

One of the best places I've been..a very respectful and hard working person...I just love the fact that he doesn't overcharge for his services yet he does an amazing job...

Jimmy is the best I have had him do work on multiple vehicles of mine, he definitely takes care of his customers with honest advice and more than reasonable prices! I haven't gone to any other mechanic since the first time he did work for me over 2 years ago

For those of you in need of an amazing mechanic, mine is the absolute best! It's a very small family owned garage. I've been using them for years now. The first time I met them, I happened to be driving back from BSU and my power steering started to go. I pulled in hoping they could fit me in. He took one look at it, said a hose was simply leaking, quickly hooked it back up and said dont worry about it. He could have easily charged me for a repair. Hell he could have told me the power steering pump went and I'd have happily paid for a new one. Since then, hes been my go to mechanic. I tend to buy cheap cars, which come with some neccessary maintenance. Hes always been the most reasonably priced mechanic I've had. Hes honest to a fault. He tells me what repairs are absolutely neccessary and what I can get away with and for how long. A friend of mine was quoted $2800 at a local mechanic and given a checklist of everything that absolutely had to be replaced asap. Jimmy looked it over, and patched a small radiator leak for $30. Over a year later and it's still running strong without any issues. He has a salvage yard in the back, and when possible will give you the option of used parts to help save money. Hes gone above and beyond to help me find new vehicles when my old ones are at the end of the line. 2.5 years ago he sold me a 2005 mountaineer with a 3rd row for less than 2k. I got 2.5 years out of for $200 in minor repairs. When it finally started hitting the point of no return, he helped me track down an even better replacement. His mother helps run the shop, and is always willing to help me out when I have trouble getting it dropped off or picked up ( 2 young kids in car seats) she has no problem driving me to or from halifax to make it easier. I've had nothing but good experiences with them, and its breaking my heart to see the shop so slow because of the pandemic. I'm urging anyone in a similar situation to me, to try him out the next time you need work done. You wont be dissapointed, and you'll likely save money compared to who you're currently using.
