I’m surprised to read that people are buying items from cheap websites and selling them reselling merchandise at a place where most shoppers think items are hand made is not cool I was going to go there today but reading the one star reviews totally changed my mind

Awesome collection of tiny shops under one very big roof. Mostly vintage clothing but plenty of other interesting stuff.

It is a nice space with a lot of stuff, but it's almost entirely old, thrift clothes. Very few items are truly vintage - mostly just used.

Let me preface this by saying that I truly wish I were leaving a better review. However, I want others to err on the side of caution, something I unfortunately did not do at the time. I had a lovely time shopping at Salvage Angel in mid-June. I picked up a few items, including a charm necklace, something that had been on my wishlist for a while. I specifically wanted to buy one from an artisan or vendor market rather than from places like TJMaxx, Amazon or Temu. I found the necklace (pictured on the left) at a booth located in the back of the building. I believe I paid somewhere between $20 and $25. Imagine my surprise a few months later when I was scrolling through SHEIN and came across the exact same necklace, with identical beads and charms, for $1.72 (see right image). I understand that Salvage Angel doesn't directly manage the inventory of individual vendor booths. Still, based on other reviews, it seems that reselling low-cost new items from sites such as Amazon, SHEIN, etc. is a common practice among some vendors there. That is incredibly disappointing. All I can say is to be wary of new or new-ish items. There’s a good chance they cost the vendor just pennies to import from fast fashion sites to make a crazy profit.

Very nice place, my first time here. The staff greeted me when entering and asked me if I needed help while shopping. There is a lot of stuff here, something for everyone. Prices are good.

Daughter bought a music box here yesterday and it was broken but she really likes it because she was told it was handmade by an “artist”. She was charged 15.00, below is a picture from Amazon, it retails for 7.85, is not “handmade” and is mass produced and fully available. I believe they should stop deceiving and cheating their customers. Especially when their items cannot returned.

This was a fun place to browse and shop for something different. It’s not just antique and vintage items, there was also a lot of collectibles, hand made items and unique accessories. Price points varied as they are set by the individual vendors. The vendor spaces and pricing was much better organized than other places I have gone that are like this. I scored a bunch of different stickers for $1 and found some old magazines I collect, my girlfriend found a vintage jacket she fell in love with.

Salvage Angel is an amazing place to shop. Their selection is so vast and unique that they have something for everyone. I've bought gifts there for multiple people and Salvage items never disappoint. The store offers a shopping experience that you can't find anywhere else, and the staff is incredible as well!

Within 10 minutes of arriving I was approached by an employee that asked if I wanted a shopping basket. I kindly declined. 10 minutes later another employee approaches me (an older woman) she asked if she could take my items for me. This time I was confused.. “no”? I answered. The lady then smiles and says “Are you sure?” “We can have your items up front for you”? “So that way you can enjoy some hands free shopping”! I still look at her confused, and I answered “no thank you”. At this time I had a total of 2 items in my hands, that entire interaction was odd. I communicated to my friend that I was uncomfortable and that if I received another micro aggression I would not continue shopping. I did end up grabbing a basket shortly after finding more pieces I wanted to purchase, and the same employee was just watching me. After exploring the back of the store, we made our way to shop the front. That same employee from earlier was hovering the exit, this was extremely disheartening. My friend was trying on rings and of course the same employee did laps around my friend pretending to be busy while watching her. The only reason we decided to continue shopping was because we wanted to support our favorite vendors. We will be purchasing directly from those vendors moving forward as we will not be returning to Savage Angel after this racist experience. My only regret was not speaking up in the moment because that employee was way too comfortable doing so, you can tell this was not her first time. I want to prevent someone else from having the same experience, please beware.

My partner and I stumbled upon this place randomly and what a gem it is! It has the perfect mix of vintage and retro along with small modern day business finds. We had so much fun venturing through all of the various stalls and being reminded of our childhoods. We also walked away with so many great finds! This is our new favorite stop. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

We've been here a few times over the last few years and it seems to be trending away from things we are interested in. Previously they had more vintage, antiques, and older items besides the tons of vintage clothing. Now they still have all of the clothing, which is cool, but the other items seem to have dwindled. The remaining antiques are not sensibly priced. A lot of the other things they have are trinkets, prints, and stuff like what you would find at a gift store or a tent at a town fair. I don't think we'll be returning much anymore.

My favorite shop of all time. The owner Susan is the best and sweetest woman. They put on spotlight markets for small business owners often, which are also a blast, but the place in and of itself is really amazing, and a great concept. Absolute must while in Norwood!

Have to take into consideration each booth has a different owner. Some booths are fairly priced, while others think a dingy disney vintage shirt is worth $40+. Overall I keep coming back. It's always worth the hunt. The people who run Salvage Angel and incredibly kind. I love the atmosphere as well.

Great selection of used & vintage vendors- you’ll find a bit of everything- vinyl, hipster t’s, home decor, crystals and more.

Cute place that was bigger than expected! The stalls vary in terms of style, price and aesthetic. Some are junky/dusty dig through bins for treasures-type vendors. Lots of Gen Z oriented vintage clothing. Fair amount of shabby chic (that I personally could do without). But I appreciated the variety and I made off with a few cute goodies. It’s a bit far from Boston so not sure how frequently I’ll come back but definitely a good place to browse.

Each area is curated by a different owner, who displays their humor, style and artistic touch. I came early on a Saturday morning, which allowed me time to look at all the racks, shelves and appreciate every patch, candle and funny tee. Not everything is vintage thrift, there are serious artists displaying their creative works - so be prepared to pay a one of a kind price for the item. I can't wait to go back and find more treasures.
