I bought a pair LED light one bulb it’s damaged and store manager didn’t want to help me said part aren’t returnable I just want to exchange for another ones that actually work

Jillian was an absolute pleasure to work with, she went above and beyond to help me in my time of need and had some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. She is an incredible employee and is a bright shining star in that office! Thank you, Jillian For helping me out in my time of need!

I have the receipt — this was a clear sale of a non-working product. I paid $140 for a bulb they confirmed as the correct fit for my car. The bulb they gave me did not work at all. I have the receipt as proof of purchase. When I returned to the shop with the non-working item and the receipt, the staff refused to refund, replace, or properly test the product, and showed no willingness to take responsibility. This is unacceptable, unprofessional, and deceptive. Customers deserve honest products and basic accountability — I will be seeking a chargeback and filing a formal complaint if this isn’t resolved. Do not buy from this place unless they demonstrate the product works in front of you.

Jill is fantastic. Left a ventilation connector for a battery on one I exchanged earlier this week and she found it for me. Advance Auto Parts has always been a place where you can find knowledgeable and reliable service. Highly recommend over other parts stores.

Jill made my day. My car battery died in their parking lot. She helped me find the right battery, replaced it for me in about 10 minutes, and then I was off to enjoy the rest of my day. She was quick, knowledgeable, and most importantly, a great human! Turned a tough day into a good one.

Employee drove up and told me to move my car, that I was parking where the company truck parks. There was absolutely no sign that indicated this. I guess I won’t take any of “their” parking spots ever again.

Had a great experience at this location. Jesse helped me find wiper fluid and graciously helped me refill it in my car. He helped me figure out how to effectively us my wipers, which I'd been having difficulty with, to ensure that my windshield would stay clear and safe in the winter. If you're looking for an auto parts store with friendly and helpful employees, this location has it!

Went in today for a marine battery and Jesse went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me out. I was very happy to have him help me because he was so helpful to the person ahead of me as well. Not many people willing to help me like he did today!

Staff members Alpha and John went above and beyond to help me select the correct windshield wiper blades as I would’ve messed this task up if left to do it independently. This location rocks and I’ve never left a review so trying to send positive recognition when I see it.

I absolutely love this store I used to always go to AutoZone in the rest of the country all across the country but I found that it at advance Auto for the most part they have very competent people who actually know a little bit about what they're talking about on cars rather than just a few weeks of training to teach them a whole world of knowledge but at this advance Auto the guys and girls that help at the front counter are very knowledgeable especially the girls and that my friends is a rare thing to find I always go back to there hope you like this

W porched a brake pads for my at this location even they told me that it is a life time warranty, and they sold me a defaced brake pads. I returned it to them the brake pads but the manager refused to take it back. This the second time they are doing this to me. The manager who is wearing glasses I think his name is Mike I’m not totally sure. For the second time I bought an AC refrigerating and I asked them before I bought. After I paid them and the refrigerating wasn’t the correct one for my car, they refused to take it back. This place has unprofessional service if you really like your car, please please do not take it at this place please. Please go to Autozone instead they have the best and professional service. I got upset after I bought the refrigerating and they refused to take back I end up leaving my $50 because they didn’t refund me.

I called and tried to see if they still offered free installations on car battery purchases during these tough times. Jose G answered the call and was extremely pleasant. Just as long as there wasn't corrosion from the battery, it'd be fine to do so. I came into the store, and I was helped yet again by Jose. He was as friendly in person as he was on the phone. He helped with my purchase and did the free installation as agreed on the phone. I would definitely come back if I needed to purchase more parts, as the rest of his staff seemed to be in high spirits, which made it a good experience overall.

I had a terrible experience at this store. I placed an order online, when I got there to pick it up, it wasn’t ready ( I ordered it 1 day ahead). So they have to go get all my items from the shelves - what’s the point of online ordering?- I ordered 6 items, they couldn’t find one, and one of the items was wrong.. and to make this experience even worst I had to carry all the items on my hand and under my armpit because they had no bags!!!!!! Seriously people??? This was my first time going there and definitely will be the last one.

Wonderful service. I've been here a few times, but most recently to get a new battery after jumping my car. The service tech came out and helped replace the battery for me. They also have given me great advice on different parts and supplies to get for my vehicle.

I needed a new battery for my 07 Camry, and a kind salesperson/mechanic pointed me to a very expensive battery, telling me that it could charge my electronics with the engine off without dying. I bought into the claim, he installed the battery, and I left fairly satisfied, thinking I had saved money by getting a 2-in-1 package essentially. Upon further research at home however I found no references online to this battery being capable of what the AA salesperson had suggested. I then went to AutoZone in Somerville, where the manager there confirmed that this battery was built for specialty applications but still required the alternator to function (ie the engine must be running to charge devices). After scowling for a few minutes in the AutoZone parking lot, I drove back to Advance Auto and explained everything to a different salesperson. He was understanding and listened carefully to my complaint. Although the store's policy is not to accept returns on installed batteries, the manager agreed to my request to swap the battery out for a cheaper (more reasonable) one in return for store credit to make up the difference in cost. The original salesperson then came back out and swapped the batteries. At the end of the day I was happy. I failed to research a product and made a foolish purchase, but the store still accepted my return in an exception to their policy regarding already-installed merchandise. On one hand, this experience demonstrated how commission-based salaries can impact uninformed consumers. But it also highlighted how a culture of flexibility and not always adhering to corporate policies can totally change a customer's experience for the better. People try to sell you the most expensive version of what you need everywhere you go -- but finding a place where they accommodate for your subsequent buyer's remorse is not always as easy.

Gotta give a shout out to my boy Davelle, did a great job in helping me with my check engine light and windshield wipers when I needed information. Highly recommend this place for any of your car needs. An awesome experience and will definitely be going back in the future for any other cars needs. Great job Davelle

Paid more for a battery that I could have gotten else where for less because they offer free installation. After ordering online they refused to do the install because it was "too cold" outside. After I installed it in the parking lot myself the charge on the new battery was so low my car wouldn't idle smoothly until I drove around for 20 minutes. I don't expect this battery to last very long, I suspect the battery was unmaintained for too long and has irreversible damage. They have lost me as a customer.

This is a busy store, plan to wait if you need counter help, heck, even if you plan to pay for a purchase. They usually don't have enough staff on hand, in my experience. I think they do a lot of order fulfillments for local auto shops, so there will be clerks in the back, but they won't help you. Usually it's a more or less friendly and helpful place.

When the sign out front says free battery installation. And you're the first customer to walk through the door. You purchase the battery to then to be told if you wanted installed you have to come back at 3 p.m. So I installed it myself probably quicker faster and better!!!

Great service & it's almost never crowded. They've always helped me in making the correct selections for my cars make & model, & they've even helped me to install a number of the items I've purchased right out front in the parking lot. Nice crew too! ☺

Ordered parts from commercial, they were so fast their delivery driver I think her name is Lynn is very friendly and quick and polite. She is a great addition to the entire commercial division. She is always smiling and willing to help.
