Very disappointed with the lack of communication and professionalism from this company. My husband called for a tow around 10am and was given a quote and was asked to text the pick up and drop off addresses, which he did right away. After that, we never heard back. We called to get an update multiple times but no one answered or followed up.
We weren’t in a rush and tried to be patient, but after waiting 7 hours with zero updates, we had no choice but to contact another towing service. A simple call or text to let us know they couldn’t do it would have been the respectful and professional thing to do. Unfortunately, we can’t recommend this company based on our experience.
Dealt with Kenny G to tow one of my Fleet vehicles. Great guy, kind courteous and respectful, extremely knowledgeable and had my car on the bed and headed to pep boys quickly.
First experience with these guys great. Second, not so much. 1st the text system did not record my location which I had to call back after an hour to figure out. Second, after waiting another hour, the driver decides to call me on WhatsApp which I couldn’t use due to the settings. I quickly change my settings to call him back on WhatsApp, he does not pick up. Literally within 3 minutes I call the place back multiple times , no answer.
Ferry Street Towing is the best! They came promptly to help with a mystery of a situation when our car would not recognize the key fob and would not start. It was fairly late in the evening still the technician worked efficiently and did not give up on trying to get us back on the road. Any other company might have had the car towed, but our tech kept at it. He was professional and caring. Thank you Ferry Street Towing for "saving us!" Highly recommend!!
Waited 2 hours with 2 flat tires in Boston. Called back to Good Sam who said this towing company wasn’t coming without warning after waiting out the 120 minutes provided by this towing company. AAA came in 8 minutes.
Alex from Ferry Street helped me out of a bind. My battery died during a downpour and he brought a brand new battery and installed it for me. Service was decently priced
Very quick and respectful service. Answered my call quickly and the tow was here in ~10 minutes. Tow driver was super friendly and helpful! Knew what he was doing and was able to get my car on the bed even in a tight spot. The whole thing only took about 5 minutes and he brought me to the shop I needed to go to. Would definitely recommend to a friend!
Hahaha ! If you want to wait hours for them to NOT show and never give you a courtesy call to say they WERE NOT coming, so you wait, and call and NOTHING! Instead they avid your calls and begin to direct it right to voicemail. I couldn’t help but laugh at what agencies get away with. So sad it’s hard to find a good, honest business.
tried to use them through our insurance. agreed to the job, we waited for an hour just for them to cancel because they were “too busy”. don’t take a job if you’re too busy.

My insurance car recommended me this company, I had to wait three hours for them and then they told me they couldn’t complete the service and before that I called twice to the phone number they have and they never answer

I was visiting Boston when out car broke down on the side of the road. Being from California my car was definitely not used to the MA weather and conditions. I called Ferry Street Towing and within less than 15 minutes I had Daniel come came to help us. He was very helpful and professional and answered all of our questions. He gave us great service during a scary situation. I highly recommend this company if you are in the area!
I had a flat tire in a busy street so I randomly went through google, found this company; Ferry Street Towing and requested their help. They made sure to let me know how long is was going to take for them to get there and for me not to worry. It was a short wait, they were very professional and kept me at ease. I’ll definitely have them on my contacts from now on.
I had a tire blow out coming home from work at night. It was a dark stretch on 128south. Service was didpatched and I didnt have to wait long, less than an hour. Service was exceptional by Alex, he was quick and efficient as it was a dangerous spot being the tire blow was rear driver's side . Even though you're in the breakdown lane, cars and trucks whip by u so close. Glad Ferry street towing came to my aid.

In the middle of the road and opposite direction? Knowing that there is 2 hours parking zone and the vehicle has bad engine? How am I suppose to bring it inside the garage?

My insurance company sent Ferry St towing & Roadside out to me as a second service center because the first company did NOT even show! I had been waiting for hours as it was & got an ETA for 90-120 mins. I was very upset BUT Ferry came in half the time of the ETA & worked very hard & quick to get my tire off they were amazing! The owner Alex came to help when his service man was having trouble. They did not leave me hanging & really cared which was very professional & amazing since it was 11 o’clock at night. I highly recommend this company! Thanks a million guys

This is the first time I ever was motivated to rate a towing place. The man named Alan came and it was a really difficult situation to tow my car because I got a flat and then I had the mini donut on which also got a flat and the car was with the back wheels on Pavement and the front wheel drive Wheels in dirt and it was stuck so bad that the front whatever you call it underpan or something and the fender right behind the passenger side wheel was actually touching the ground. Alan actually towed it out an inch at a time saving my front end from being completely pulled off the car. He was very very nice and friendly and is a credit to Ferry Street towing. So credit where it is due

Needed to have my car towed from a parking garage to a mechanic's shop while I was at work, and their phone and texting service made it super easy to communicate details. Extremely friendly customer service and able to pay right on venmo. Highly recommend for any vehicle towing!

Got a flat in the middle of the night, on my way home from work. I called Ferry St tow and they told me they would get to me in 20 minutes ....10 minutes later the gentleman from Ferry st was there and handled everything. So nice and professional and super quick! “5 STARS !! “

At 5:30pm they told us it would be 90 minutes. Two hours later, we called to check in and they didn't answer. Called our insurance company who booked them, insurance tried to call and they didn't answer for them either. Insurance suggested we give it a bit more time because things can get backed up, so we did, calling every half hour or so to never have them pick up the phone again. At 9pm, they still had not showed or answered the phone, or even bothered to let our insurance know if they were not going to come afterall. The insurance company tried calling them one more time, they didn't pick up, so we called another company. I don't appreciate sitting in the December cold for so long. If Ferry Street had given us an honest estimate, we could have gotten a Lyft home, had dinner and stayed there for a few hours before going back to meet them and been warm in the interim.
This place needs to give people realistic estimates, let people know when it's going to be a few hours later, or at least have someone answer the phone reliably.
